Anything can be abused. As a GM, we have to say, "If I don't own that book, it does not come into my game." as well as "Just becuase I pulled X from the book does not mean you get to use Y."
I have not read all the book yet, (the Psionics Guide), but if there is a loop hole like that, I squelch it. -

I am for using Gwen Stacy. Keep the women down to a minimum, and Gwen plays a major role in the Ultimate's universe the last I read.

OK I had to say it. Vampires seem to be able to hold their own movie wise. Hollywood goes through spats of big vampire movies and little cheesy ones. If the projectionists pay attention, not much will change. If they don't, a few studios are going to lay a few lemons instead of golden eggs. -
A very good write up, but there is a slight caveat. The DC heroes have, for the most part, worked with the law and as an extension. Even prior to the comic code, heroes were called upon to work with the law. This makes Superman and Batman less vigilantes, more law abiding citizens trying to make citizen arrests.
Marvel on the other hand has otrascized many of the heroes, and very few work with government sanction, and are actively reviled by both citizens and law enforcement.
It all depends on the universe. Some get basic police training, and protection that comes with it as long as they follow the law. -

Vigilante. As per Rorschaces defining moment, some people are animals, and can not be fixed. Leaving them alive makes no sense.

No idea what he's like in "That Other Thing We're Not Supposed to Talk About", but in the original Champions PnP RPG, Foxbat (or Boxfat as my husband is occasionally wont to call him) can be downright... weird. Sure, he's an idiot who thinks it's a good idea to try to steal the Rocky Mountains. But it's the other stuff he'll do to be ABLE to try and steal said mountains that give you pause...

It's just that I have awful luck NP, in regards to dice rolling. I understood that I would have more than 6 dice in a pool of course depending on what the skill was and I how I built the character.
I like your wall-o-dice there, I think I rolled that once in Champions. 90d6 move through.

I find this shocking. Surely some of this is a bug. I've had a few ambushes so far, but other than the Kill 100 Destroyers mission (Where admittedly the mobs die in 2-3 hits tops, and you can run around, etc), I've not been mobbed anything like that. I've had a few situations where 1 mob would come, I'd finish it off, then another mob would come, but I've literally not been overwhelmed yet with 3 chars. I'm still rolling new chars, however.
(btw, I frequently carry lucks, and am always working to keep my tray modestly filled with them, and I thing that's been a key to my survivability, so I advise this tactic for others)
