Quote:I'd consider it a proper retaliation for ruining other people's fun. Regardless of the fact that I will continue hoping that the devs get an option added like the Team TP option, and regardless of the fact that this is nothing more than annoyance and thus not game breaking, I would like to publicly state the following to all those that pushed to get the popup turned back on:Yes, because that's exactly the right way to make people agree with you. All that will prove is that there are dicks in the game.
Fark you, you inconsiderate farks. -
Gloom does my main no good. It's use, because of the redraw penalty, (c'mon BAB, HURRY!!!! GR is almost here!) reduces claws' DPS.
I do remember a day when I had dark blast in my build. After ED/GDN, before the scaling resists were put into SR. Had to go the all range, high defense build. Was a sad time.
Anyhoo, darkest night on top of SR would be amazing. -
Quote:pfft. They have no sex appeal. I'm dead gorram sexy.Every year Bill, you come closer to looking like a Daedric Lord from the Elder Scrolls games.
/side note, I did enjoy hacking those rat-bastiches to bits. -

I assume that the new APP for brutes will have Physical Perfection. You'll have to go blueside to get it, of course, but better than nothing, yea?
-
Bill keeps gettin sexier every year. I'll have to go with the third pic because he needs his hooves. And yes, fury claws all the way.

The glowy bits at night:

Thought I'd throw out a non-diabolical use of the new costume sets. Here's a spines/fire mutant.
-
No organic thorny armor for feet when choosing monstrous legs.
-
Dig the eyes, bass.
As for rularuu claws... the left arm rularuu claw is still mounted incorrectly on the forearm. The right arm rularuu claw is also at an odd slant.
Until that's corrected, I can't use them. And yes, I did check again because I also thought it would look awesome.
EDIT: I will go ahead and jump in on the "what? no new monstrous heads and tails?" bandwagon. I mentioned my disappointment that we didn't get corresponding pieces with the existing monstrous legs.
EDIT2: And Dark Ether, slap back on the hooves with the rest of that and it will be my primary costume come go live. -
Subjective: Showoff seems to animate a bit too quickly.
Growl is fun.

Win 7, Test server, Bill Z Bubba
Mutation Quick Reflexes now buffing recharge.
Possibly related oddity, my Combat Attributes Window keeps randomly adding and deleting various buffs including a large improved regen rate, a large Increased Health Bonus and Ultimate Improved Recovery rate, a Luck of the Gambler: Recharge Speed. Perhaps others. EDIT: Secondary Mutation dropped, combat monitor still acting as described. EDIT2: Ummm, nevermind about this. Apparently my combat monitor always does this on Bill. O.O
I'll leave it open until the Mutation drops and see if the combat monitor settles down.
Also, buff emote cycles every 10 seconds. -
Subjective: Bill's got some new gorram battle armor. EDIT: Except there are no organic armor warps for the large hooves or any other monstrous feet.
That's bad.

I would honestly consider tough/weave necessary on both SR and Inv.

Quote:Exact same problem I have in reverse. I know that if I IOed out a tank like I do my scrapper/brutes it would put out enough damage to be comfortable, but I don't have the patience to get it there.
If only I had the patience... -
Quote:I realize that it'll be a stretch... but on a scrapper or brute you can take the attacks and slot them and they actually do significant damage.*raises hand*
I'll continue to play tanks because I think they serve a better purpose on a team than a scrapper or brute.
Also because I can't seem to build a scrapper or brute with enough survivability that I don't delete before level 30.
See, a tank has to have all that mitigation because it takes 100 hits to kill a blue minion, where scrappers and brutes don't need as much mitigation because they take out spawns in a single hit.
Warning: This post contains hyperbole and pokes fun in a light hearted way. -
I see nothing changing. I'll still refuse to play tanks because I find them useless and boring. Other people will still play tanks because they find them useful and fun.

Quote:I certainly was. I just didn't expect someone to roll with it so well. You mean you wern't quoting the Dos Equis commercials?

Brute SR also benefits from the higher base HP compared to its scrapper brother. Not only is that a plus in and of itself, but it also means that you'll get more mileage out of the passive scaling dam-res within the passives.
I've been begging Castle since SR got ported over to give the taunt aura in evasion to scrappers. He throws rotten carcasses at me and laughs maniacally every time I make the request.
Anyway, would SR work? Oh hell yea. Between Taunt, Evasion's taunt, Spin, Eviscerate and Shockwave, you will be able to lock down some serious aggro, and once you get to the softcap the only thing you'll really need to worry about are attacks that lack a positional component like a few of the psi attacks. -

Quote:In other Other words, where's the UI Redname so that we can pelt them with gifts and/or sharp spiky things to get some items fixed round these here parts?
Is there a better way for us to tell the UI team what changes would be appreciated within the structure of the game. -

General Slotting guidelines for Shields when using TO, DO, SO enhancements:
Deflection: 3 defense 3 damage resistance
Battle Agility: 3 defense 1 endurance reduction
True Grit: 3 heal 3 damage resistance
Active Defense: 2 recharge reduction
The defense that Phalanx Fighting provides to the player is NOT enhanceable. Do not waste slots in that power thinking that it will improve the defense it grants you.
EDIT: Wait, someone correct me here.
DEF(Melee, Ranged, AOE) +2.25% for 0.81s If target is another player
DEF(Melee, Ranged, AOE) +3.75% for 1.25s [Ignores Enhancements & Buffs] Effect does not stack from same caster
Max targets hit = 3
Does this mean that while solo PF still grants the user 3.75% defense (unehanceable)(if a scrapper) and then if two teammates are in range another 4.5(enhanceable)? Or does it mean that it does didly squat while solo? -
The DOs that grant a defense buff are the purple ones directly below the damage enhancements.
What origin did you pick and are you a hero or villain? With that info, we can tell you exactly where to go to get your DOs.
