Last time I checked Pinnacle, there were 50 villains and about 100 heroes found in search. This doesn't count those that run around hidden from searches. Like me.

So let's be extra nice and assume that half the player population is hidden. (I seriously doubt that.) That would mean there were 100 villains and 200 heroes on Pinnacle that night.

As a soloist, I don't care about player population for my own purposes. I do care, however, about player population being high enough that the servers stay open so that I can continue my soloing ways.

I'm not sure that an average 500 players on line per server is going to cut it.

Serious question: I hit 505000 inf/minute last night while solo. Am I doing it right yet or do I still suck at this ebil business?

Cool. Pretty sure a bunch of IOs are missing. Also, there's some data buried in there, like rikti pylon info, that I'd love to see be more accessible from the various pulldowns.

The only thing I see needing fixed regarding SG/VGs now is for the devs to give us the ability to offline invite our own alts to our own groups.

The really sad part, Chase, is that I've heard stories of people being that vindictive here in this game. Luckily (and probably amazingly) I've never been the victim of such things, but they do occur.

Obviously, I'm not one to care. My face is on cohfaces, I've posted to the coh page on facebook using my real name. It wouldn't take a rocket scientist to put the two together. I've even (you fool!) sent email from my home account to a handful of players. Course, those were all folks I had been talking to for years first, but still... bad form.

Speaking of evil, I've found a new quick-rich scheme in game. I figure if I tell anyone about it, it will go away. So I'll keep it to myself.

The builds wouldn't be different except for the APP/PPP picks. As a brute, you would gain access to Darkest Night from Soul Mastery which adds a considerable amount of mitigation.

As a scrapper, however, you'll benefit more from the damage buffs.

My farming attack chain has become followup, spin, eviscerate, repeat on my claws/sr when I'm fully surrounded. Shockwave is used to push spawns into walls, catch runners that focus isn't up to catch and often as an alpha strike.

It's going to be personal preference all the way. Until you figure out how YOU'RE going to play your claws/wp, take all three aoes. Figure out what feels right for you and respec later accordingly.

In other words, you will be truly self-gimping yourself should you decide to go that route. If you want a positional defense set that has more powers that are "skippable" go with shields.

DM has one issue: Too much left hand usage. Needs alternating animations.

My DM/WP at 50 hits exactly as much as it should be hitting.

Can't use claws with a shield anyway. SR or Inv are both fine picks for Claws. Really... with claws, anything works.

If you go SR, spin+shockwave is a great combo. For Inv, you should consider spin+eviscerate instead.

The moved the tech forum to Development. From there you'll find Technical Issues and Bugs about halfway down.

Stalkers have already been buffed to make them more team friendly. Whether the playerbase on the whole knows/about accepts those changes is not a mechanical problem with stalkers. They are the burst damage kings of the 4 melee types.

Yup it was eviscerate. Perfectly fine for something in granite armor to spin around like a ballerina for dual blades though.
