When I get my FREEEEEEM! you can be a sidekick. Visual Sounds was announced WAY before City of Sidekicks. You're also behind the text based CoX from last year.
-
Even when an arrow does go 'thud', it's a lot quieter than a gun's 'bang'. You will of course need someone to defend the safehouses and bases. For that I suggest Traps defenders or corruptors. Traps masterminds make good cannon fodder to soften up the enemy defenses as well.

Quote:The better way to say this is that it's just as likely for an issue to go live on a 'non-Tuesday' as it is for a Tuesday.Yep, here's another one of those fallacies that everyone swears is gospel truth. Issues are patched in on Tuesdays.
Not always. Let's see how they add up by issues. Dates taken from ParagonWiki Timeline page.
Code:Monday - 2 Tuesday - 9 Non-Tuesday's - 9 Wednesday - 4 Thursday - 2 Friday - 0 Saturday - 1 Sunday - 0
Discounting Friday and Sunday (I'd ignore Saturday because it's only a headstart but it's on the chart) that means 4 days for 50% compared to 1 day. It is more likely for issues to go live on a Tuesday. Plus, except for major urgent patches (like the recent ones to curb the latest ae exploit), most of those are done on Tuesdays.
Now WHY is it more likely on Tuesdays? Because it gives them the rest of the week to try to quickly fix any bugs or problems that might pop up before they're all off for the weekend. So why not Monday? A day to review any bug reports that came in over the weekend and see if the issue needs to be pushed back or is 'good enough'. That's my thinking on why Tuesday is more common an Issue release day than any other. -
Just the other week I went to Intel's website to try to find out what the maximum 'safe' operating temp for my CPU is. They don't list one. What they do list is internal case temp, saying that 60c is max. Of course, that doesn't really mean anything since your CPU can be 100c+ while case temp is nice and cool. I found a temp monitoring program (that has a g15 lcd display) and from what it says I run about 45-50 idle and up to around 65-75 depending on what I'm running. The program (Core Temp) tells me that 85c is the 'Tj Max' temp, whatever that means.
To the OP, 45-50 is probably fine. I have 4 fans in my case with a spot for a 5th directly over the CPU. Sounds like your case is similar to mine so you shouldn't have a problem. -
Quote:Only if I can do this. While we're at the subject, would it be possible to give me super-dancerific gun-fu on my mastermind as well? As alternate animations of course.
Oohhh, wait, idea! Dual wield whip/pistol!

Okay, I had this problem a while back while making an arc in AE, but now it's more of an issue. When playing the mission as a hero, Carnies won't spawn below 40, as a villain they do.
Also, Noise Tanks cap at 39 even though they are in the TV's arc at 45+.
Any ideas why? I have bugged these in-game as well. -
Had one bots MM where I named the bots after less known characters in Alice in Wonderland.
Battle Droids: Three (or Two, don't remember exactly), Five, Seven
Protectors: Dodo and Griffon
Assault: White Knight
My current MM (also bots) is medical equipment themed...just can't remember the names at the moment. I had an idea for a zombie/traps MM that never got past level 6. That one was based on Jeff Dunham's Achmed the Dead Terrorist puppet. -
When I saw the clip with Kinetic Melee, first thing that went through my mind...Bruce Lee. Looks pretty cool though, might even give it a try.

I've been getting a lot of these types of things from "Blizzard" lately, claiming that my (inactive) WoW account is being sold and thus is against the TOS. Funny thing is that the email they're sending them to is NOT the one that's linked to my WoW account. Also, the spelling and grammar are even more horrid than the OP's here was. Then there's the fact that Blizzard doesn't warn you. They just ban you.
Not that I have any plans to play WoW again, but I wouldn't click one of those links even if it did look legit. At least not without investigating it first. -
Of course, we're waiting for GR! On that note, time to get back to fine tuning my ae arc.
-
LadyJudgement: Just checked out that link and that is really cool. Just the other day I brought Mousse out to do a Hess TF and someone said she looks really creepy. That pic really brings that out.
I hereby award you with the alternate runner-up prize...a Sporian Nova form Kheld. (still needs some work)
*tempts VexXxa with more cookies*
Deebs: Thanks again for the headshot, even had a few people recognize Mouuse from that shot and your thread -
Nope, sorry too late. You can have the runner up prize of Albino Shouting Gorillas.
-
Oohhh, pretty! I vote Bubbawheat winner and as grand prize, I present to you cookies.
-
Quote:True I suppose. The colors I used when creating her in-game are pretty much the colors I'd tell anyone. Orangish horns and face markings, red 'liccorice' chains. Bubbawheat's is a pretty good start!I'm sure someone will come along who can at least be bribed
in the meantime I'd suggest you also consider describing how you want it colored. As I recall from Deeb's thread, the horns are candycorn or such? And that the character is made up all of desserts? If you want it colored like that (instead of based strictly off the screenshots) then pointing out which part is vanilla ice cream and which is chocolate syrup (for example) would really help whoever do it right the first time -
Ya know, the last time this happened I created an AE arc about rescuing the Server Hamster...maybe this is a good time to go work on it some more and publish it properly.
-
Okay, a month or two or three ago Dragonberry was drawing headshots of anyone's character who posted a screenshot in her thread. She did an awesome job with my stone tanker Mighty Mousse. I was wondering if I could convince/con/bribe/threaten someone into coloring it for me (since I tried already and suck at it
) and resizing it for avatar use on the forums here.

If anyone could do this for me I'd greatly appreciate it and would send e-cookies and create nuclear powered gorillas to yell out your name in praise from the rooftop! If you don't, then I'll just send the Cookie Monster -
It's those sneaky peav'pee'ers! They're jealous of our Arpeas!
-
Same happened to me. Got mapserved in the middle of a mission with a great group and can't get back in. Virtue has a green dot like it's up and available but won't let me in.
I wanna pew pew some more!
-
Yeah, of course! Duh! *ignores the fact that the cowboy hat only has one hairstyle which doesn't cover the side of the head, or that the devs didn't have an option to REMOVE human ears when using other ears* And so she got reincarnated into a catgirl body. She ain't gonna let that stop her! In fact it'll probbly help!
-
Presenting Lilith Bonney, reincarnated half-sister to Billy the Kid!
...as if there weren't gonna be enough cowboy/girl type dual-pistol users. -
Quote:I was thinking this exact thing the other day when I got the Cyborg pack. I wanted to use Robot Arms 1 with the armored top, but no go. Maybe arm options could be made their own category inside the other torso options like how ears are for heads. The ability to use the different Robot Arm Options (1, 2 and 3) with Jackets, Trenchcoats and Shirts!
Another thought I had was concerning the 'glove' options. Many of those are bare skin underneath which in some cases limits creativity. Having a new option for forearm customization would mean that (for example) we could have small padded gloves over tights, or monstrous fur skin, or tattoos, or whatever else we might want. -
Oh wow, I almost didn't even recognize Mighty Mousse there at first but she is just so cute there! I sense a new avatar in the making. And I love your condensed description. Hell, it's just about better than my own!
-
I'd be honored if you drew Mighty Mousse. She's one of my more fun characters even though I detest her powersets. Only screenshot I had of her from Virtue is old, small and rather ugly so I made her quick on Victory (since someone killed the server hamster) for screenshotting purposes.
And yeah, that's a shovel. It's the closest thing we get to a giant spoon.
A face only a mother could love!
Haven't played her in a good long time since I hate how stone armor looks. But with the customization, I might try white crystal and say it's rock candy rather than chocolate. -
They often hand out a free respec around every issue, but not a global name change. In the 4 years I've been playing I think they've only done that once, maybe twice.
-
BaBs has confirmed (in-game confirmation) that it's a bug. If you set the metal spines to the far right white, you get that 'effect'. I had this same problem but setting it to the next darkest (which is still pretty damn near pure white) will work just fine.
