IMO they still need a damage buff. I love what they did to Inner Light, but the damage is still not that good. I think they do not want to bump it up to the 1.000 like the VEATS because of Cosmic Balance. If we team up with tankers and defenders our Cosmic Balance damage buff would be insane. That is why I think they need to change Cosmic Balance first and then bump up the Kheldians Damage. Some players like to solo and lose out on the Cosmic Balance buff. Why should anyone be force to team to use their inherent power. All the other AT's inherent powers do not require players to team up. Even defender's Vigilance gives a damage buff when less people are on the team and get a 30% damage buff when solo.

Perma light-form with 2khps, and a big heal every 20 seconds mean I have never had issues with survivability. So I went with ageless to give me even more room on high recharge powers and some extra end when the AOEs start going.

Single target attack chain is Radiant -> Gleaming blast -> Gleaming bolt. Find a boss use this chain on them and then blast the others with photon seakers, solar flare and luminous detonation. All dead after a few rounds of this. The knockback is actually fun because 2 of the 3 powers are ranged so you dont lose too much in DPS chasing the target around. But it feels OOhh so powerful when you juggle the boss.

This toon is the closest I can get to Iron man in the game. High defense, ranged blasts, good melee powers, flying, and a couple of nukes.
I even got Provoke on one of my all human builds to help out sometimes on a team when things get rough.

I actually Gleaming Bolt a lot. I was able to slot it with 2 Acc/Dam HO's and 4 Damage procs . It recharges so fast I just spam it and it procs damage all the time. If it all procs at once, your damage can up from 70 points to around 300+ points of damage. That does not even include the DoT from the Reactive Interface Incarnate slotting.
  3. It would have to be my main Big Soto Invul/Fire/Pyre Mastery with Pyronic Incarnate. His name would have to be changed to Something cool like Fire Fist or Over Heat. He cant fly, but he can emit burst of heat to help him leap and he can also create a thermal updraft to reduce impact on landings. Big Soto is from a earth in a parallel universe and the radiation the sun emits causes mutations in everyone on the planet and causes them to have a Fire Ability. It was discovered that the sun was dying and a scientist created a wormhole that lead to CoX Universe to escape. Soto was the first volunteer to enter to see if it was safe; however he was also the last. His earth was quickly destroyed after he entered by a solar flare that killed everyone.

Since his arrival in the CoX Universe he has met his double named Sinister Soto and he is a brute. Sinister ironically has the same abilities Fire/Invul/Pyre Mastery w/ Pyronic Incarnate; however his insanity and quest for power causes his fire ability to surpass Big Soto's, but is not as invulnerable as Big Soto.

It will not go well with some PB players to change the power from a Cone to a Single target attack. Some players just might pick the power so they can slot some good IO's in it for the bonuses. I do like the idea of the snipe attack. Maybe turn it into a new power and it can be a snipe Target AoE like LRM Rocket in Munitions Mastery for Blasters. That way everyone will be happy

If it's not that frequent, you might want to consider putting at least the +res proc in an attack that is used more often.

It will be irrelevant for your S/L since it's already capped, but it will be a nice boost for your other resistances.
I actually use it pretty often. For some reason it always seems to hit even if the target has vengeance on them. I really wish I had a damage aura that I can put that in.

A defense/end is the same as a defense/recharge in an auto power. All I am using is the defense numbers and not the end. I did see what you mean about the rule of 5. I slotted it with 2 Kismet's for the +6% accuracy proc and the +1.5% to recovery bonus. Thanks for the catch on that over slotting.
  10. I like it... With the changes I am still able to keep soft cap on my type defenses and help my endurance in the process. I did lose some HP, but not a lot. Thanks a lot!!! I think that might be my final build unless someone else can work some magic...lol

P.S. Now it is time to go broke, buying stuff... :P
  11. This is my SD/SS build... I am just posting it up so you can get some ideas from it. I like that I have 53-54% defense for Melee, Range and AoE after I get Agility Alpha Incarnate. It is at 49% defense before my alpha slot.

I'd also slot Reactive Armor sets in UY and TI, and use 3 Aegis RPD if you can find the slots. I also noted that you have endurance reduction slotted in some of the passives, which makes no sense at all.
Good catch on the end redux in the passives... I will changes those out.
  13. I made some slight changes and soft capped all defense except psi, upped my recharge to 86.25% and HP by 43 points to make it now 2501hp and using Dull pain that is perma will give me 3534hp. I also upped my damage by 5% but it is so slight its almost not worth mentioning. Tell me whatcha think...

Thanx!! ... And that makes sense since we can stack the debuff up to 4 times per target.

I just seen someone's build that had S/L/F/C/E/N and even Psi defense at soft cap... Gonna do some work on my build tonight and see what I can do to make my build better.

With 5 targets Invincibility will bump my En/Neg up to 46.1. Anything less than that I should not be worried, but I will see what I can do without hurting my attacks. thanks for the in put.

As for the Incarnates I will be getting Agility Core Paragon (End, Recharge, and Defense) for my alpha. I was thinking of getting Degenerative Core Flawless Interface for the -Max HP proc (75%) and minor toxic DoT proc (25%). I think it will help the team if I am using AoE's to decrease the HP of the targets to help them kill quicker. I want to get the Storm Elemental Radial Support for the O2 Boost that heals and end drain protection. As for my Destiny I will be getting Ageless Core Epiphany for the + End, +Recharge and Recovery. Are these good choices or not?
  16. After years of playing and having my name sake on the shelf, I have decided to bring Big Soto (My tank) out of retirement. I spent some time trying to figure out what I want to do with him and I was able to soft cap my Smash, Lethal, Fire, and Cold Defense and max out my S/L resist. I have had great success in the past posting my builds and people giving great advise. List below is my build I am thinking of using and please let me know what I need to change. Thanks for your help.

  17. I think Beam/Dev/Mace would be kinda nice. One Gun Drone with three Spiderling PPP pets will help with additional damage. Once you get your lore pets you will kinda be like a MM with six pets for a short time.
  18. 1. Buff all forms -
    • Give Nova form Aim.
    • Give Dwarf form Build up and another single target attack.
    • Increase human form damage scale from 8.85 Melee to 1.000 and 0.800 Range to 1.000.

    2. Change KB to a KD

    3. Change Cosmic Balance - My idea for a Buff for Cosmic Balance is to change it to accept only one Common IO. The enhancements allowed would be Damage, Resist, Slow or a Hold IO. If you leave Cosmic Balance unslotted then it will default to the original setting as it has always been. If it is slotted with one of the 4 IO’s allowed then you will gain the stats as having a full team of that one buff. Once this happens and you are on a team, you will not gain the original buff of Cosmic Balance. For example if slot a Common Damage IO and I will have the damage buff of being on a full team of 8 (Tanker, Mastermind, Corruptor or Defender) and not gain the buffs from any other member on the team from cosmic balance. If I slot a Common Hold IO I will gain the Limited protection from Control effects as if I was on a full team of Controllers or Dominators. This will work the same for Warshades also.

    Or

Since the damage is going to get buffed in human form from 8.85 Melee to 1.000 and 0.800 Range to 1.000 to match the VEATs (I know they are not the same AT), I think Cosmic Balance should buff the team members .

    For example:
    • Tanker, Mastermind, Corruptor and Defender will get a Damage buff.
    • Scrapper, Brute, Stalker and Blaster will get a Resistance buff.
    • Peacebringer, Warshade, Arachnos Widow and Arachnos Soldier will get a Recharge buff and Slow Resist.
    • Controller and Dominator will get Limited protection from Control effects.

Who would not want a Kheldian on a team if they are granting team member buffs. I would also like to mention that there will be a cap on how many buffs you are allowed to receive. No more than 4 of any buff. One kheldian on a team will grant a 5% buff, two on a team will grant an 8% buff, three on a team will grant an 11% buff and a fourth will grant a 14% buff.

P.S. Warshades should get the same damage buff as above and Dark Sustenance will get a change too.
    For example:
    • Tanker, Mastermind, Corruptor and Defender will get a Defense buff.
    • Scrapper, Brute, Stalker and Blaster will get a Regen buff.
    • Peacebringer, Warshade, Arachnos Widow and Arachnos Soldier will get a Accuracy buff.
    • Controller and Dominator will get Limited protection from Knockback.
  19. I did the same thing. I have not played my Spines/Invul in years and recently pulled him off the shelf, did a respec, and added IO's to his build. It was kinda nice playing him and made me remember how it was when I was lvling him up.

I really like this idea. They already have the capabilities to make a doppelganger of our characters for the tips missions. So it is possible to make a visual copy, but the only problem would be changing the power for each tier of pets.
  22. They should just make a Arena Architect and we the players can make our own zones to fight in. It could have the same process as building a base and we can pick the rules. Players can use them and vote on the best zones.

    P.S. It will never happen

    Yes please!
  24. I am the proud owner of a Dark/Dark/ Soul Defender, Dark/Dark/Soul Blaster and a Dark/Shield (dark graphic)/Soul Brute. I am keeping the theme going and already made a Dark/Dark Dom and Controller.
