For Elec/WP pvp build, what are the must powers to take?

Looking at my current build in Mids, I have the following:
Elec: Havoc Punch, AS, BU, Placate, Thunder Strike
WP: Hide, HPT, Reconstruction, Mind Over Body, IW, Heightened Senses
Pool: Fitness (Hurdle, Health, Stamina), Speed (Hasten, SS), Concealment (Stealth, Inv, Phase), Leaping (CJ, SJ)
Epic: Soul Mastery (Dark Blast, Shadow Meld)

I am not sure if I should take Lightning Rod (since I will be using it for pve as well). I would like to take Fast Healing and Strength of Will, but not sure if they are worth it over the other powers.

Is there some power that I missed that should have been taken? Although it can be built without Fitness as I have seen others do, but I prefer to have Stamina on this build.

Any reasons for your bias on EM/ and Spines/ ? Btw I am a big fan of Spines as well. I am currently leveling Spines/Nin, L41 atm. It was a toon that had been parked forever, and just recently started to play again. For the new stalker that I plan to roll, I am definitely leaning towards /WP, but wasn't sure which route I should go on primary.

OT, playing around mids with EM/WP, I noticed that I can get close to soft capping ranged defense, but there was no way I can get even close to soft capping melee defense (@24.6%), except for using Shadow Meld. Is that how most ppl build it?

What would be the best PvP primary: EM or ElecM or Spines
...mated to /WP for Arena and /Regen or /Nin for Zone
for Arena?
for SC Zone?
for RV Zone?

You probably have the pvp numbers up. Mids doesn't account for DR, and shows your pvp numbers before DR.

For Dominate and Telekinesis from Psy Mastery, how would you slot them, what IOs would you recommend?

For Rad/Psi defender, would you still recommend Psy mastery over Power Mastery, or just keep Power Mastery?

BigSung. Your problem is that your video card is bottom of the line. It's really not suitable for this game except on the very lowest graphics settings. This latest update through the Magic pack added several intense graphical features in the form of the new costumes and powers. Odds are that your card is simply being pushed beyond it's limit.

And even if the card can still play in minimal graphics mode your drivers for it are 3 years out of date which makes a big difference.

I noticed the issue on the driver, so I have gone and updated that one with the latest. As for video card, I might have to look into a new one. Any video card that you recommend that doesn't cost an arm and leg?

After the latest patch, I am also running into huge lag.

What's the recommended slotting for?

Levitate (got 6 slots): currently have 5 decimation and 1 kb IO
Dominate (got 6 slots): currently have 5 decimation and 1 purple dmg proc
Fire Blast (got 6 slots): currently have 5 decimation and 1 thundestirke triple
Mesmerize (got 6 slots): currently have 4 devastation (acc/dmg, dmg/rech, triple and quadruple), 1 thunderstrike triple and 1 Fortunata proc

thx supermax. I wasn't sure if i should use levitate first or dominate. One thing. I heard so much about Flurry...not in attack pattern?

Trying to revive my Mind/Fire Dom that I haven't used since getting my Fort to 50 a ways back.

What would you recommend as the most optimal attack pattern?

Attack powers at my disposal are:
from Mind: Levitate, Dominate, Mesmerize, Confuse, Terrify
from Fire: Flares, Fire Blast, Blaze, Blazing Bolt, Fiery Embrace
from Pool: Flurry

Not all needs to be used, but listed.

I have to agree with Frosticus that you need to weigh the benefit of whole powers under a patron pool. That being said, for my mind/fire dom, I'm still debating between Mu (Charged Armor, Power Sink, Summon Guardian) vs. Leviathan (Hibernate, Shark Skin, maybe pet). Without phase in the build, Hibernate is really tempting, but Charged Armor provides decent res, Power Sink is nice, Mu guardian is one of the nicer pets that attacks and heals.)

Cleat awesome job. This is one of the best Fire/Ice tanker guide that I have seen. I mainly solo, so I decided to not take Taunt, and work around it by slotting my BA with taunt enhancements. I am also a very strong supporter of Hasten, so I took that up way early. I also went Fitness before Fighting pool.
