Tip: In the original post, see those Hydra soldiers in the background? - see that blue glow coming from their weapons apparatus/cossie? ..... OoOh!, I wonder what power-source could be powering said weapons!

(Get that and you'll get 'a' link between Captain America, Thor and the Avengers).
It's science, but it works like magic?

The ones in the grocery stores here nowadays are mostly reprints, and those other places don't have any at all. So, thank goodness for the local comic book shop!
the comic shop is still a geek ghetto. where we're sequestered away from the 'serious' people too busy to enjoy our hobby. they also tend to look down upon it and us because we haven't "grown out of them" yet

Back in the mid 60's, they actually had comic book VENDING MACHINES in grocery stores. They were common place and part of the cultural scenery in the late Silver Age. Not ghetto-ized and hidden away like a shameful addiction. The "Comic Book Store" was definitely a bad turn of events for the industry

    [Edit]

To elaborate, I didn't just play the JLA: Act of God card lightly.
I feel it's quite appropriate to what you always seemed to champion and part of what's wrong with the game: Blue Blue powered down, useless and ineffectual with his ideal **** upon. A gigantic swooning love letter to how 'awsum' Bat-Scrapper is while basically flipping off the Atom, Martian Manhunter, the Flash and other heroes. A massive mishandling of a cool idea that had potential.

    .
And you, sir, need to grow some kind of sense about video game design and balancing. Everything you want would require a completely different game engine and would also make this game even more niche than it is. Don't you ever wonder why none of the Super Hero based video games are built around the ideas you champion?

I love comic books. If they could cook, I'd marry them

I always found the Disco Boys to be classic. And the fact that Casanova Frankenstein could call on an army of separately themed goons was great!

Isn't Nemesis our Magneto equivalent? Emperor Cole is our Zod. Maybe we need more, but we have those avenues covered

Then you'd have your Praetorian Hami nearby for a Trial/TF.

Then just for kicks I'd love to see an Ancient Asian type zone kind of like Cimerora, fighting Shogun/Samurais and maybe even some ninjas. Then save the zone from a giant Dragon! YAY!
Theory: Emperor Cole has to wear those golden gloves to hide the fact that he's fighting a DE spore infection

I wasn't aware that the branding of livestock was considered 'abuse' now. Just because your horse is a pet GG doesn't mean that there aren't business owners who need to mark their property as such

Sure you can. If you explain why you're leaving they might not even hate you
