I think that's a much better idea than a movie

Interesting, hope it can be watched by us international viewers. Looking forward to it.
Completely and utterly Awesome.
Don't count your weasels before they pop dink!
It's an interesting take on the MK mythos to be sure.
I'm not terribly sure I like it though. The whole idea now seems to be to turn the MK thing into a Cops V Criminals to save the city thing and that's an interesting approach but it gets away from the MK story quite a bit.
Personally I like the inter-dimensional, Outworld and Edenia at war and Earth gets involved sort of stories. But Turning the Outworlders like Reptile and Baraka into homicidal maniacs instead.... It could be interesting but I just don't know.
Scorpion seems to have re-tained his back from the dead and out for Sub Zero, status, that could be cool.
Jeri Ryan could make a fun Sonya blade...

Looks like a pretty original spin on the mythos thus far, all things considered. I'll be keeping my eyes peeled, especially if they can keep up or surpass the quality they've shown so far.
There is an art, or, rather, a knack to flying. The knack lies in learning how to throw yourself at the ground and miss. --The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy
Maybe that's just what they know/can explain? I have to imagine everything they think they know will get tossed out the window when Raiden and some of the others get involved.

Ohh that baby with skales and red eyes that killed people? Well we got our babies mixed up, turns out the guy with scales is really from another dimension, that baby died in the hospital, it was a baby fatality, a "babe-ality" if you will.. *cheesy smile to camera with a wink*
Ohh that Doctor that lost a patient, went crazy and attached metal blades to his arm? Turns out he was from another dimension too, he came through the portal in a white lab coat and accidentally killed some one , we assumed because of the coat he was a doctor, we realize now he has no formal education in the medical field. The first kill was still an accident, the other 90 were on purpose, and it turns out the blades weren't surgically attached, they were there the whole time and it turns out our x-ray specs from the back of the Archie comic book are not as good as we hoped.
Sorry, my attempt at humor on the boards.
Anywho I think it's an interesting spin but seems like they are distancing themselves from the interdimensional aspect of Mortal Kombat, and I've honestly always felt the MK storyline had real potential and it was a shame it's always been so under-developed.
At least the new MK game is promising fully animated scenes etc, so maybe we can get more of that story too..
