    Look's more like a Reicsh-cicle to me.

Seems he wasn't so much on ice as in stasis...

    [/ QUOTE ]

ZOMG the new 5th column base is freaking sweet looking!

    [/ QUOTE ]

Looks more like an abandoned hero base. Besides, why would the 5th Column keep their very own Evil Statesman in stasis?

    [/ QUOTE ]

He's cranky when he doesnt' get a nap.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Considering how long his nap has been he should be pretty chillax when he wakes up.
  2. Blargh. I need to comprehend -> post.

    Playstyles

    I'm usually a casual soloer.

Occasionally I'll run a superteam character (i.e. everybody plays similar characters whose buffs overlap to make everybody a steamrolling Engine of Doom) but I'm unsure if that counts as a distinct playstyle.

Scroll bars appear or disappear automatically based on if you need them or not. If there's no scroll bar, you don't need it.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Not necessarily. The scroll bar on market windows occasionally disappears on me even when I have a recipe list expanded, and the only way to get it back is to collapse and re-expand the list. All and all a relatively minor UI issue though.

You want activities? Go check out Dominator thread!

    [/ QUOTE ]

It isn't great as the original "Positron freaks out re: AE" threadnought (what could be though?), but there's some good hilarity in that Dom buff thread.
  6. [ QUOTE ]

Wow I'd forgotten about TOTALITY. What ever happened to him?

    [/ QUOTE ]

Either the mods got tired of dealing with TOTALITY-related complaints and banned his forum account, or he got tired of that avenue of trolling, quietly changed his name, and started up a new game on some other subforum
  7. I have a fairly low level Widow that has been shelved for a while now, but I might take her blueside just for a rare change of pace once Going Rogue comes out.

I'll also very likely make a Warshade and bring it redside, but I don't have an extant character ready to move over.

eh might be the quietist but at least help is always there from experienced stalkers...

    *runs back into the shadows*

    [/ QUOTE ]

You actually needed to come out of the shadows to talk? Newbie Stalker!

    [/ QUOTE ]

Real stalkers learn to converse normally while still being completely invisible. It freaks out the target a lot more that way.
  9. Highly unlikely that any badges would be removed following a side switch, though some might have their names automatically changed in the process (Villain/Redeemed, etc)
  10. Ah, good to know that at least then
  11. It is. However, slotted procs still turn off if the power is not available or if you exemp too low. At least, I'm mostly sure of this.
  12. [ QUOTE ]
To answer your other question the level of the IO doesn't matter, other than to determine when you can slot it. Once it's slotted it will function equally well regardless of the level of the IO

    [/ QUOTE ]

Caveat: if you exemp to a level more than three levels lower than the IO (or lower than the level at which you took the power it is slotted in), you lose the benefit. Therefore, getting the lowest level +stealth IO you can reasonably attain is usually preferable unless you never exemp, including going into lower level PvP zones.
  13. I'm anxiously awaiting news of Issue 17: Going Brogue. Features include whiskey-drinking and baby-eating emotes and the all new Riverdance powerset.
  14. [ QUOTE ]
So very tempted to add 'This is a type R character' or some such to all my bios. Shame it'd put half of them over the character limit.

    [/ QUOTE ]

No, no. TYPE-R is the codeword you put in your MA arc's description so people can specificly search for the awesome ones.
  15. Eh, back when Eviscerate in Claws was the same size cone getting multiple hits with it wasn't too terribly hard, but in general I was still better off spamming Focus/Slash/Swipe in terms of overall DPS.
  16. [ QUOTE ]
How the hell is shadow maul garbage? Thats your best attack in the set. So what if it has a long animation. You can more than make up for it by lining up the cone attack. I just dont understand the hate for shadow maul.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Damage per animation time >>>>>> damage per attack, which is why DM fans heavily trend towards buzzsaw builds.

Siphon Life is indisputibly the best attack in DM nowadays, and with the recent buff to Midnight Grasp it isn't too shabby either. Shadow Maul just gets you stuck in place while you could have launched several other attacks and done considerably more damage in the same amount of time.

But it still sets the bar for "dear sweet gods above that was hard".

    [/ QUOTE ]

Uh... no. But R-Type is still a decent difficulty.

    [/ QUOTE ]

How many times can they be hit? If that is a single hit type shooter... I refuse to believe that is possible. :P

    [/ QUOTE ]

It is single hit. However, for these sorts of games your hit box is typically a single pixel in the center of your ship, rather than the entire sprite.

Its still fairly impressive to see someone play them well, though. I sure as heck can't do it.

    needs more Touhou programmers

    [/ QUOTE ]

So, lolita costume parts and a Bullet Hell powerset?
  20. It means they want programmers with racing stripes. Preferably red racing stripes because as we all know, red = GO FASTAH

Alternately, perhaps they want RATED ARRRR SUPERSTARRRR programmers in order to increase the awesomeness levels in the office.

    @Endless (an SG)

Darn mystery SGs tryin' to bogart all the delicious drama.
  22. Mission name: Zoot Suit Riot!
    Arc ID: 71777
    Length: Very Short
    Morality: Neutral
Description: A bunch of oddly dressed goons are crashing parties hosted by the Carnies, and your help is requested to stop them (the goons, that is). Because answering a call for help from the Carnies is *never* a bad idea.
More details: Idea for the enemy outfits stolen shamelessly from Smashmouth
More more details: Short arc is shooooooooort
What were you drinking when you created this? Mountain Dew

    Arc Reviews

If either of you care to review my arc, ID 3321 (yes, up to and including brutalizing it horribly), I'd be down with that

Five missions, one defeat all, and precious few crazy custom critters to go around. Since it primarily uses existing NPCs and some of them have limited level ranges I've forced a level range of about 33-40 on each mission to ensure that the powers of the players and NPCs remain consistent throughout the arc. Especially let me know if I've screwed up my references to cannon events in some particularly egregious way.
  24. I've already commented elsewhere about the high risk of wardrobe malfunction inherent in the female outfit However, the cape and that long coat are both super-awesome. Is there a buttoned/closed version of the coat, or is it only open like that?
