I prefer to make controllers because the damage is so much better. It is very hard for me to make and play a defender because damage is so poor. I end up hitting attack after attack after attack to just kill a white con minion. I hate to take on a boss, because it takes so many clicks to kill the blamed thing.

The one advantage I see in defenders over controllers is that often the controllers neglect their secondary, or may be too busy with their primary powers to spend as much time on their secondary. The defender is much more likely to keep their primary busy than the controller is their secondary, and the defender gets it earlier. This is not 100% of course, but I have many times been teamed with /ff controllers who only took personal ff from the secondary over five years, hardly ever did a defender do so.

I watched a guy inviting to a TF, but he said one must send a tell with your build to be invited. I sent him a reply, "I am built like a brick @#$%house, can I join?" He sent me an invitation, but I declined. This is too much like WoW and the shouts on the trade channel there for dungeon raiders that state one must endure an equipment check. The last guy who checked my "equipment" got a black eye.

There have been a couple of people in this post talking as if they would be very rude on teams and not care about it at all, saying basically that it is their choice. I have to say that when I run into people like that I will usually treat them the same way they are treating me. There is nothing in the world that makes them angrier. They get furious when you treat them as bad as they are treating others. I find this to be absolutely hilarious, and it shuts them right up when they recieve the same crap they dispense. It puts an end to the idiot acting like an @#$% every time. So to those individuals I say this, the price you pay for being a creep is that others may well give you a world of crap. So enjoy your crap.

Research has shown that the core, or the majority of most mmo's is made up of working people, professionals, parents, and other people with plenty of responsibility. They may well just want to get on, de-stress with a couple of missions, then get back to making dinner for the kids or something. It is very common, and I do it myself because I am a professional with a family. It is the way mmo's work much of the time. The only time it really is bad behavior is if it is a TF team. If you get on a TF team, which cannot be added to, you should stay until the end. I cannot abide jerks who join a TF and leave after two missions.

That should take care of the spam for regular farming missions. Now how are we going to get rid of the AE spam? Since it took 5 years for this to happen, maybe it will take 5 more years to end the AE farm spam.

To do the Lady Jane mission stealth around her and clear to the objective, then go free her and take her straight to the objective. It is super easy this way, and there is not one ambush.

In all of the ones I entered the winner either had barbed wire or spikes all over, with a demon head, or a girl with eden and bikini 3 for the costume picks. I think all of the contest holders are teenage boys.

When the same situation came about because of the winter lords, they changed it in a skinny minute. They really need to remove the capacity to make all boss or all Lt. instances. I am sure that would take a big bite out of the level 1-50 in 8 hours trade we have so abundantly now. This will really wreck the game for incoming players, just as the OP said. Did these die hard defenders of the current situation not see this coming. It will be happening all over. Level 1-50, then....."I'm bored with these AE missions. I quit this game." AE is all they know. They get sucked into AE from day one by the agressive recruiters in AP and figure that is the game.

How about if you don't do IO's at all, and use the game like it was initially designed? The game can be much more challenging then.

Is this guy the world's biggest hole or what? Boy, I could see how somebody could feel sorry for him. NOT! Ahh, to see a creep get flack for being a creep, a blessed sight.

The electric primary gets a lot of disrespect for being low damage since it only has two single target attacks. I have heard it a thousand times. So I have a question to ask. When the dasmage per attack. the cast time, and the recharge time are all taken into account, is it really bad, or how bad is it? The defender version was ghastly, but I am having good success with the blaster primary. It seems to be doing better than my archery/ at the same level. So can anybody report the true numbers on this old argument. And I am talking about primary only comparisons, because any primary can use the same secondary.

Ice/ice. It has control and safety in the secondary. The ice primary does fast and hard single target damage, and can freeze foes in place, even bosses.

It can be very good for reducing waiting time between mobs if you solo a lot.

I'm a DIRL and all the female characters I've built in this game so far have all been very firmly of the armor and cleats school. Why? Because they're "Bob" darned superheros! They get shot at with guns, flamethrowers, nuclear weapons and worse! It's just pragmatic. This thread was brought on by a desire for fun. It was my only motivation. I think it will be a fun thread, and it has been already. Besides, after hearing for ten thousand times in the forums that most of the girls are really guys, I wanted to disagree. Most don't seem to be to me, or at least a big percentage don't seem to be.

Most pug's on freedom that I run with will stealth all missions that can be, because many of them cannot be. Many are kill all missions, so we stealth when we can to make it a two hour session, rather than a three hour ordeal. I always get one to three levels from them and the length is just about right. I hate to run through every mission from beginning to end, clearing all of the way, and that never happens if somebody can stealth. We get good exp and level up well, but I am mostly there for the badge.

There is a common misconception in this game that most characters using the "with skin" costume pieces in this game are mostly guys. I submit that bikini 1 and eden bottom and top used together may well be a guy, but it may be a female on the other end of the line also.

I mostly use the "with skin" costume pieces for my girls, because I don't really dress IRL in clothing from head to toe, like a burka. Some girls design costumes that way, but I rarely do. I even have a themed character named Beach Bunny who wears several swimming suit designs, both one piece and two piece, and sunglasses for her costumes.

So what happens every summer when the weather gets warm? Do all of the girls you see wear long sleeves and turtlenecks with ankle length pants? No! Why should my characters dress in full length tights then? I just want to say that most of those characters likely really are girls, because there are a lot of us on this game. I run into them all of the time.
