I wouldn't be surprised if the whole Arya story was drastically changed for the show. Most of her story is internal monologue which doesn't translate to the screen and adding yet another location with more new characters to try and keep straight just adds to an already fairly hard to follow narrative. I've heard of a lot of viewers who haven't read the books already mentioning difficulties in keeping everyone and everything straight.

No Tourbots!
From wiki: "Following their recovering the rights to Grimjack, John Ostrander and Timothy Truman teamed up again to publish Grimjack: Killer Instinct, a 6-issue miniseries published by IDW Publishing. The miniseries, since reprinted in graphic novel form, serves as a prequel to the First Comics Grimjack series and shows John Gaunt's life leading up to his first appearance in Starslayer #10. The series met with critical acclaim for its art, storyline and original setting. With a script by John Ostrander and art by Timothy Truman, the series was lettered by John Workman and edited by Mike Gold. All of them had worked on the original Grimjack comic. IDW Publishing also re-issued the First Comics Grimjack run in a series of trade paperbacks under the title The Legend of Grimjack. As of October 2007, 8 collections have been released."
I don't know if The Legend of Grimjack is still in print but it may be easier to track down than some of the early First comics issues. I may have to look for Killer Instinct myself, it would be nice to revisit an old favourite. -

The Bee Gees were so much more than just disco. RIP Mr Gibb.

My daughter hasn't played for quite a while now but while we were teaming one time, just after her character got fly, I saw her take off inside Wentworth's and then I hear from across the room "Oh crap, it's a window." Cracked me up.

Because I don't care for the AT. Just that simple.

Based on your statement about the 1920 - WW2 I'd recommend Lobster Johnson and Hellboy if you are not dead set on superpowered characters.
To answer the questions "what are trades/TPBs?" They are the collected versions of various comics. Stands for Trade Paperbacks and they are usually one complete story, 4 - 6 issues in length. Often a cheaper alternative to getting some of the older issues of titles that have been recommended, like Starman or Planetary.
I'm not 100 percent certain but I thought I read that there is a new Gambit series coming from Marvel soon. And I was right - http://www.comicsalliance.com/2012/0...it-comic-book/ -
Wow, thanks for dropping the spoilery I23 tidbit in what I assumed would be discussion of the I22 story arcs as mentioned in the title. Not everyone plays in the Betas and some of us prefer to learn what is new in an issue when it goes live.

There is a statue planned but it will end up getting the Spinal Tap - Stonehenge treatment and end up placed in a dog park.

I'm sure she'll be back after her guest shot this Friday's Supernatural.

Quote:Was that Dolorous Edd telling Jon and Sam about Craster's "wives"/I enjoyed it, but I wish now I hadn't already read "A Clash of Kings" because I found myself getting distracted from the action and dialogue because I was mentally comparing it to the book.
Let's see what new characters were introduced last night...
Stannis Baratheon
Melisandre, the Red Woman
Davos, the Onion Knight
Craster
Sir Dontas Hollard
That's all I can recall ATM. -
I realize it's not an option for most ATs but I found +2x2 to be great for a newly Incarnate-unlocked Stalker. While running the Heather arc he was getting 5 - 6 percent iXP in Lore and Judgement and doing the arc in about an hour for defeat alls.

Why has nobody mentioned that the sequel to Peter Cline's Ex-Heroes came out?
I know that Ironik mentioned it was being worked on but I only recently learned it had been published. I picked it up as an e-book yesterday and am hooked.
Unless it falls apart by the end, Ex-Patriots is even better than the first book. Seriously compelling page-turner, I had to force myself to put the book down so as not to finish it in one sitting.
So if anyone else managed to miss this book - Ex-Patriots by Peter Clines - now you know it exists. -
I did Max's arc twice, once with help from the freed Malta agents and once without. I received no reward either time.

There's an abundance of riches once you hit 20. In addition to what's been mentioned there is also Roy Cooling, the clone arcs (can't recall contact) and tip missions. If you are VIP you can do SSA 1 at level 10 I think.

My first character was my namesake on Infinity. He's a Dark Melee/Super Reflexes scrapper and for the longest time he was my "main" as far as being the one I spent most of my play time on and thus the first one I got to level 50.
But a couple of the Supergroups he had belonged to imploded and most of my friends on that server weren't around much anymore so my focus shifted to another DM/SR scrapper (I like the combo) on Protector. He got to 50 before the majority of his SGmates (the RL component) moved on to other things. He was my second Incarnate.
My first Incarnate was a Dual Blade/Willpower Scrapper. I'd consider him my main as far as him also being my Badge collector. However, I've been leaving him mostly parked getting the last few Day Job badges while I've been playing characters with some of the latest powersets.
So the short answer is: no my original main is not my main anymore. -
This thread should of been reigned in after the third post.

Playing with my daughter a while back, she got fly for the first time on a character and went to exit Wentworth's using this new power. All I heard from across the room as I watched her character take off straight up into the air?
"Oh crap, a window!" -
Quote:Good to know the not-Mods are on the job. There is already a thread with discussions, questions, thoughts, speculations, etc on the Winter Event.
Probably better than starting a new thread about the same thing. -
I "Gratsed" the PUG teammate who joined me on some scanner missions just yesterday and recieved a thank you in return. I think it's a situational thing, Congrats on teams, pre-grats to all after the first ding on a fast leveling TF, probably not so much in the new sewer run.

Considering Robert Hewitt Wolfe's involvement and a supposed "post-war" setting maybe it's a follow up to Andromeda. Unlikely but it would be kinda neat.
