Iaido.
Actually, I'll add that one to my list too. Remember that one Breath of Fire game with the Dog Swordsman? Or Swordsdog I guess. Anyway, he'd draw the blade slightly, flash through the enemy, then reappear back in the line-up sheathing his sword. Awesome.

Ahh.. I miss that game. I beat two of them.... couldn't beat three and beyound. I think Three I couldn't beat because the final boss threw out so many freaking lethal status effects that something always ended up killing the whole group. >_< -
Draw Style Melee: The complaints about draw times... well how about a melee set where you draw, strike, and resheath all in quick motions. Thus the weapon is constnatly being pulled and done so extreamly quickly.
Bushido?
I never could remember the actual name but I think that is it. -

what does it matter to you how someone else plays their game? you are not being forced into doing anything in the game. you have multiple options how to play your toons. seriously we don't need another " AE is the Devil" thread. this is the FoTM. it will die down. go play the game the way you want and stop trying to tell people how to play.
[/ QUOTE ]
It doesn't matter what an individual does as long as it doesn't infringe on the rights of over individuals. Since architect is removing a vast majority of the population of players into farms, increasing the price of salvage and will lead to people quitting the game further reducing the population of the game, then as a whole, architect is effecting other players.
[/ QUOTE ]There is this little thing called cash your tickets in for salvage. Incase you didnt know you can always do that. There is absolutely no reason to ever pay an arm and a leg for salvage on the market anymore. If people are just too stupid to cash their tickets in for salvage then thats just their [censored] and its not anyone elses problem.
[/ QUOTE ]
Umm... this wouldn't work for players that don't wish to play the Arc stuff. In addition, the behavior being exhibited may drive those who have a hate for farms or farmers to avoid Arcs all together.
I will play the AE missions but primarly solo and only ones that look intresting to me that I read on these boards. I would like ot team and do one but as it stands I'm far to hesitant to do so because all I've seen are request and advertisements to join AE Farms.
My brother out right refuses stating "Why would I want to play when I already know 90% of the missions were made by (censored) who don't give a rats (censored) about playing the game and just want a free ride to the top. I've already teamed with enough morons that don't know how to play the game. This along with all the farming (censored) is just pushing me one step closer to quitting this game."
At the moment, the developer team is nearing the top of his hate list. -

Techniquely, it's the not their game. They just pay rent to play it.
The question is will this go the way of the Winterlord.
Can't say that it won't cause harm because showing someone the easy/quick way tends to draw idiot players as easly as it draws genious players.
In the end... it depends on how much of a problem the developers see it being. -

I thank you for your review. I thought I had caught all the grammatical errors but Microsoft Word isn't exactly a perfect system.
Sorry for the long windedness. Just was so much explanation and I couldn't think of a way to sneek into clues and what not. Plus trying to build some kind of personality for the contact.
I had thought about having the empath show up again in the final mission but I decided against it. I had no room to sneak her in and seeing as the old man already lost one child, I don't think he would be willing to risk her in the area where the strongest sources were. -
Really never thought I would have a list to work through. I need to write all these's ID's on some paper with lines.
-
When ever I search for Hall of Fame I get nothing in response. Are there none yet or are my search results borked?
-
MA Arc Finder is post to be the go to channel for MA Arcs.... and possible more or less stuff.
-
I know they won't attack but will they cast non-combat powers like the things from Empathy or forcefields?
-
I think negativly of my self.
Praise is uplifting but brushed off.
Negatives just comferm what I feel.
I honestly do think I have an inferirioty complex.
Critisim eather ticks me off or makes me want to quit...
honestly... righ tnow I just want to quit trying. All I can imagion is one sucky review after another, that nothign good will come.
YEah... i'm just going go play.
Nice work on your own arcs... Wont' waste any more of yours or anyone elses time. -
Anything that may be set up to play is gone so delete it form yoru list if it's there.

Introduction: Is... kind of nothing. It strikes me as a, 'Hello, now go get the stick' Type start.

The arc is meant to start like it's business as usual.
[ QUOTE ]
And judging by the greeting... This guy is an actual contact? Because I have no idea who he is.
[/ QUOTE ]
Yes. I'm getting the impression by now that a lot of people who ask this question never went into Croatoa to do anything other than farm the Katie Hannon TF with someone else leading and never ran the Croatoa arcs themselves, as Buck is the last guy in the chain and the one whom through you need to go to unlock the TF. He's also the only Midnight Club member aside from Percy Winkley in Croatoa, which is where this arc is supposed to take place. The arc does assume you've joined the Midnight Squad by now.
[/ QUOTE ]
I've been through Croatoa once. Only ever did Katie once. Not a huge fan of the place. The only side area in heroes I go to regularlly is the Faultline. -
Arc: Passing Notes
Arc ID: 72475
Author: @Aracade
Number of Missions: 3
Description: Open one chest and strange things hover in your future --Recommended Level Range: (30 - 50) -- Archvillian.
Personal Discription: No where near as well made as yours or anyone elses arcs I've played thus far which is a disappioint ment on my part. Grammar and spelling are not my strong suits so if spot something I didn't notice or didn't know, you have been warned in advance. My only hope at the moment is what little I have now makes sense and if it's not in such a way I can't extend it or get a better discription or something.
For the kind of 'overall enemy I want to deal with.. I'm not sure I can explain it that easly. I hope you like it or atleast it doesn't make you want to kill something. -

Arc Name: The Amulet of J'gara
Arc ID: 1709
Faction: Tuatha de Dannon, Circle of Thorns, Void Demons
Morality: Heroic
Difficulty Level: Easy-Medium
Synopsis: A pair of Midnighters have disappeared while on a mission to Croatoa. What begins as a rescue leads to an assault on the Midnight Club itself and a battle for your own mind and soul. (AV present, Allies are provided.)
Estimated Time to Play: 30-45 minutes
[/ QUOTE ]
On a mission by mission Bases, Level 38 Fire/Fire Tanker used. I may never comment on grammar or spelling errors/problems because those never were my strong points. If I notice it, it has to be very ovious, I think it sounds odd, or just that bad. Half the time when I think something sounds odd it's grammaticly correct.
Mission 1:
Introduction: Is... kind of nothing. It strikes me as a, 'Hello, now go get the stick' Type start. And judging by the greeting... This guy is an actual contact? Because I have no idea who he is.
The Mission: No complaints there. A normal mission.
Clues: Comments giving a little bit of info, nothing bad here.
Mission Complete: " wonder what the Circle of Thorns was doing here to begin with." Would changing 'was' with 'were' and 'here' with 'there' be incorrect grammar?
Mission 2:
Introduction: It's better though if you can, maybe you could add a little extra text to go with their finding the location. Something to give an organized feel to them as well as a passing of time. Right now it sounds like Buck did some work on the translation and the Midnighters just knew where Jermiah like it took no effort on their part.
The Mission: No complaints. I'm actualy shocked that small Circle maps exist.
Mission complete: The pop up stated the circle were preparing while the clue has Polentas saying the attack was happening while you were talking to him. Buck supports Polentas with his comment when you talk to him. I think ya might alter the mission complete popup text so it's in line with the clue and Buck.
Mission 3:
Introduction: I got nothing to say.
The Mission: A clue or boss defeat message for anything noticable would be a good touch as we have no sign to guess what happened to him after he is defeated. Far as we know, he just cried out on defeat. The mission as a note on it saying defeat all enemies giving the impression it is ment to be a clear all but I got mission complete without defeating everything.
Mission Complete: I won't say unexpected because some people would figure it but I will say I didn't think of that thus.... 'NICE!'
Mission 4:
Introduction: To be honest, I kind of did forget about that. Asuming this is going where I think it's gowing, I think a nice touch would be a feeling of sorts that is ment to remind about what Buck said. It would also explain why less psy aware characters would be able to enter.
The Mission: Better then nothing to say, I found it to be freaking spectacular. Enviorment, enemies, clues... all of it.
Mission Complete: Heh... Heh... that does leave you wondering doesn't it.
Overall:
I say it's 5 star work that jsut needs more publicity. Well put together with nice of clues, enemies, and allies custom and otherwise. -
ERr wait... O_O
No wonder I couldn't find my own topic... I was looking down and never noticed the pin.
I guess this makes it easier to find though. -
MEah...
If anything of mine is in yer cue... delete it... the arc is gone. -

Wait a minute... THAT'S YOURS!!!
That's is an awesome arc. You can hit some tough spots but it flows so well @_@.. I didn't know that was yours. Ran through it... Force field throwing jerks kept pinning me down getting me electracuted by the other thing. @_@
How did you even come up with that?
