Hello all,

Up until today's patch, I've been able to run the game endlessly and flawlessly, but after the game's update today, I rubberband and eventually (after about 30 seconds of not being able to move or interact in any way) mapserver every 5 minutes.

It's not my internet connection in general, as I have Firefox, AIM, and Skype all running in the background (as always) and none of them show any signs of any minor lag at all.

I've tried lowering the graphics, closing all outside programs that may be using much of any internet connection, verifying the files, restarting my modem and computer both, none of which did anything.

Anyone else experiencing this or have any idea what's going on?

One thing I do know is that in outside areas, the enemy 'doing the crime' (the one who's dealing the drugs, the one who's breaking into a door, the one holding the woman's purse, etc) are almost guaranteed to run while his buddies hang out and fight.

Been like this since.. I started playing I guess, back in '04. Obviously there're other factors that tell the AI to RUN LIKE HELL, since not all street setups are crime situations and some are just enemies hanging out.

On my Stalker, using Stealth doesn't let NPCs follow me either. Just for the backup info.

I just hope they:[*]Remove the PBAoE's from the DA set (Death Shroud, CoF, Oppressive Gloom) [*]Replace rez with an uber 38 powers[*]Replace Soul Drain with Build Up[*]Replace Shadow Maul with a different, non-DoT attack. Same recharge, base acc, secondary, effect, etc., but not DoT.

Personally... I hate Swipe... It's one of the worst Claws power for a Stalker IMO, considering it's DoT, has a slow activation, and has bad damage... Slash is just such a better power, especialy when the I7 buff to Claws comes around, Swipe will be totally unnecessary.

No Focus at 18??? Focus practically defines Claws as it stands, in both PvP and PvE. Ask anyone, I'm sure all will agree not taking Focus ASAP is hurting yourself... badly...

Completely /agree!

However... Soloing the 7th Generation Paragon Protector missions... not too fun...

*Herd a couple groups around a corner, use Combustion/FSC. They drop to 1/4-1/5 HP left and BAM!*
*A gazillion Eludes, Unstoppables, and MoG's go off*
*Can't kill them, while they keep hitting me*
*Me = Dead*

I forgot the minions/LTs could go all "OMGALMOSTDEAD!UBAAAAAAR!!!!!!!!"


So... are there any Fire/FF Devs? Or am I still all alone...

There's a Family and Arachnos enemy in the whole "drug-dealer" setup together.

The Arachnos bot says, "How much for that Statesman HeroClix figure?" (Something along those lines, I think that's exact)

I couldn't stop laughing.
