As for Freedom, I might move my villains there instead of Virtue. Is Freedom really hostile to RP'ers though? I don't RP all the time, but when I'm with the right people, it's fun.

Well, somehow poor Manhattan Bridge ended up on Victory rather than Virtue. So I just popped another token to move her where she belongs, and now she's on Virtue, with her mate Brooklyn.

Is character transfer like character copy onto test server, that it can take up to 24 hours to see the character in its new home?
I ask because I moved a character off of champion (I've had no luck teaming there unless I was in a Mega-SG, and when I didn't like their rules, I left) and onto virtue. She immediately dissappeared from champion, but I have yet to see her on virtue. I didn't get any error saying moving to virtue was not allowed, nor was Virtue greyed out on the server list.

So is transfer just backlogged a bit, or is my character well and truly gone? If she's gone, I'll be really PO'ed. Level 30, with a large chunk of AE tickets, and at least 10 complete sets of salvage from the halloween event, along with the badges.

Well, I just logged into the game for a look-see, and my character that I transferred over from Champion to Virtue is STILL NOT THERE. Nor is she back on Champion. If transferring to virtue was not allowed, wouldn't virtue have been greyed out or something when I did the transfer?
Where the h-e-double hockey sticks is my character? I've had her for awhile, run her up to level 30, and not just AE playing. I really hope she's not lost in limbo, or just gone. I'll be pretty PO'ed if that's the case. She's got a full load or AE tickets, and 10 complete sets of salvage from soloing the halloween trick-or-treat event, plus a few random extras. This was a character I cared about, which is why I wanted to transfer her from a server which is dead on nights when I can get on, over to somewhere more populated.
It seemed that on Champion, unless you were a member of a mega-SG, forget about finding teams if your schedule had you working funny hours, or your only nights off were monday and tuesday.

I absolutely LOVE this booster pack. The new weapon options and robes are hella sweet, can't get enough of playing with them.

The only thing I would suggest as an improvement would be to get the robe belt option opened up to other costumes besides robes. Can we have that, pretty please?

I LOVE this new booster, it may be my fave, tied with Magic and Valkyrie.
A few of my characters have already gotten makeovers, I've had fun playing mix-and-match with these new costume pieces, combining them with valkyrie, samurai, and justice parts.
Brooklyn Bridge, my DB scrapper didn't have his robes on for 5 minutes before being told twice how cool he looked. And that Qin dynasty hair!! Thank you, thank you!
The chinese weapons were just the icing on the joygasm cake for me, I have been wanting those forever! I also love the waist-cape belt option we got to wear with our robes- I havn't looked to see if we can wear it with other things yet, but it is sweet and makes the robes look even better. I definately look forward to bringing out more of my characters to play mix-and-match with, it's so much fun, these are pieces I've been longing for forever!

And the ninja run looks SO hella cool, I've been having such fun playing with it.

I made a Katana/Dark scrapper, and coloured the dark armour blue. Now she looks like she's using some sort of ethereal water to protect herself, quite fitting since she's a ship's spirit!

Power customizing opens up so many doors for cool concepts it's not even funny anymore!

I am hoping that the weather in SF this october will be nicer than it has been this month- I've been checking the Golden Gate Bridge webcam at www.goldengatebridge.org and the poor thing's been shrouded in fog all week. Ugh. September and October are supposed to be the nice months.
And to complicate things, I don't have a laptop that can run CoH..A good gaming laptop is tres expensive- not in the budget right now

I am hoping that this will be on for more than a week or two at the end of October- I'm going to San Francisco on the 28th and won't have access to a computer. Even if I did, why would I want to spend my trip hunched over the thing when I could be out walking the Golden Gate Bridge?

That looks pretty sweet. I will be heading to San Francisco at the end of October, but unfortunately it will be just a few days after hero-con ends. This whole exclusivity thing kinda bites.
Count me in as another who would love to have the costume parts to play with.

I abuse the snot out of the magic pack- the cloak and bolero jacket. So many of my characters use stuff from there it's not even funny.
I also abuse the Justice shoulder plates, Samurai armour parts, and the Valkyrie set.
For my males, they only get three hairdos- barbarian, long, and ponytail. All the others are too freaking short.

I remember the first Halloween event, ToT'ing in Atlas with a lowbie character. Some idiot kept spamming the following message:
"Can anyone spare some inf for a poor gal, giggle giggle giggle"
Yes, she wrote out the giggles.
Quite a few people told her to shut up, and even I told her that spamming was not going to make her any friends. She then proceeded to harrass me in private tells. I told her exactly what I thought of her begging-spam, and to go ahead and petition me as she had threatened. Then I added her to my global ignore list.

On the other hand, I remember a lowbie character asking if anyone could please give him 5000 inf, so he could buy his enhancements. He was polite, not spamming, and asking for a very reasonable amount of inf. So I set him up. I've also helped one other lowbie buy and craft wings- he was ecstatic.

I have a pretty decent mix of males and females. It seems I play the females a little more, depends on the mood I am in.
It helps that females get some awesome costume parts like the magic bolero that the guys don't. I wish they would make a unisex version of that thing!

As for the others, I wonder if kids or teens wrote some of them, due to the spelling and grammar. Mrs Weed made me laugh, it's actually original. And the tran- Troll is awesome. If she showed up at a CC I was running, she would probably get an honourable mention at least.

Count me in as another who wishes she had logged into test for issue 15. Thing is, there was just nothing about that issue that really exited me. A TF that due to its high level restriction, only two of my characters could run. I'm quite sure that neither my scrapper or brute would have made a huge difference. And having made no MA missions at that point, I really wasn't going to be of much help testing MA changes.
So I didn't bother. Kicking myself now.
