Conveniently leaving off the last part of my post doesn't make your point any stronger.

Technically correct, but not totally correct. There were Steampunk pack codes given out, but not until the after party, AFTER the Praetorian Surge was pushed back. Or uh, more accurately, not until after Emperor Cole was distracted by coffee. And bad insults. And took his ball to go home.

  6. Heh.

For another point of data, every offline days on my character screens is correct (technically, that's over 100 points of data but it's only one computer viewing it sooooooo).
  7. Do you have like a 47 inch TV with 1920x1200 res as your monitor? I'm not understanding how a bunch of thumbnails would be at all clearly seen on a computer monitor, which the average desktop resolution is 1280x1024, with 1024x768 close behind (though the larger/widescreen resolutions are creeping up the list, and 800x600 is almost unheard of now).

Are you happy to have an empath on team that has heals but does not use them? Happy to have a DA scrapper in team but only toggling half or a couple of powers? No it's not efficient and does not benefit the team.
Turn on icons in your team window. You've been playing the game long enough to be able to recognize most of those icons by glance -- or at least long enough to realize "Regen toggles are pale green" "kinetic icons are teal/blue" etc - you can see what they're using or not.

If you really, really, really care about whether other people are active, or doing something stupid, WATCH THEM...even before power customization, this is what you had to do most of the time...the game is full of crazy power effects and pretty much always has been (though it's getting crazier since incarnates).

    edit:

Yes under that logic the game should be reverted back to when it was purchased which for me was EU launch. And you know what if it did i wouldn't complain even tho about 7 of my 50s would disappear.
*%&()@ NO. Screw that with a rusty spoon. (#$@& NO.
  9. Is that the one where it's like "defeat all dudes" with demons? If so, that's still in Harvey's arc. It's not listed on the wiki as having a timer, but that may be an oversight. (A lot of farm missions got timers.)

I seem to remember them lowering rewards for the most commonly farmed critters also; high level Freakshow, Council World guys, high level Family...not sure if demons were included in that, and I am not strong with the wiki-fu today and can't find the patch note that indicates the drop.
  10. Reset the clock on your computer.
  11. Public Test Server, and "the build" means "the game version". In this case, a game version from the test server from over a year ago. Necroooooooooooooooooo poooooooooooooooooost!

Did you note their descriptions? Some of the "Marcone" bosses are sly and are only Marcone for those willing to dig for it. (Marcone in the bio: counts. Marcone not in the bio: does not count.)

I think so, but I am not 100% sure. I do know that, for instance, the Calvin Scott "TF" (story arc) they added a while go, Calvin is only contactable by phone. (He has no in-game model at all!)

    That is all.
Can we please have cool stuff that is free before having MORE cool stuff that is paid for? We have LOTS of cool stuff that we have to pay for right now. I want free cool stuff. Free is always better. Always, always, always. We seem to have so little free stuff lately that it's kind of discouraging. Every few months is another $10 pack. sigh.

Correct. Because you're not actually getting the arc from her, you're getting the arc from a copy of her that is only contactable via phone (ala some Praetorian contacts).

The OP doesn't want the ZONE to work that way. The OP wants AN EXIT to work that way. Like the exit doors in RWZ: Rogues and Vigilantes can use the Paragon OR Rogue Isles exit portals, Heroes can only use the Paragon portal, and Villains can only use the Rogue Isles portal.

If it really REQUIRES a zone to be flagged cooperative for doors to work that way, all they'd have to do is flip the "Villain City Zone"/"Hero City Zone" to "Cooperative Zone" flag (standard code rant). Heroes can't access the Villain Ouro, and vice-versa, so it doesn't make much difference what they're flagged.

Start a raid. Invite a few people, and as you're taking pylons down, more people will show up, and eventually you'll have a full-out raid and all the pylons will be down and you'll have your badge! It takes like a half an hour, maybe, at most, to get all the pylons down to open up the shield...if you're slow getting response. A single team can take down all the pylons by themselves. OMG it's like things work out the way you want them to if you put effort into it! No way...amazing...!

Costume change binds that incorporate /settitle are easy enough to do. The likelihood that the devs would do the OP's idea is pretty much nil, and sadly the likelihood that the devs would tie a single badge title to a costume slot is pretty low. At least we have a workaround.
  19. Sometimes I don't log in for days at a time. I think the last time I logged in was a couple days after the Praetorian Surge. Badge get and off I go. I don't pay my fee every month anymore, even though that hurts my completionist side that wants all of the veteran rewards RIGHT NOW. I canceled last year and went six months without even thinking about City and it was actually the best medicine I ever "took". Finding a two-month sub card for $5 while GR was on sale for $10 meant I got three months and Going Rogue for $15 - a bargain at twice the price - I figured I'd give it a go, since the main reason I quit was forum-based and I can ignore the forum if the draconian rules start to aggravate me.

So I don't pay $15/mo, but when I do pay whatever it is I pay that month, I make the most out of it by logging in a few times, maybe playing with Wentworths for a bit, chatting in various global channels A LOT...basically I pay my money for a glorified chatroom with mobile, 3D avatars.

If I only had a CSI- or Bones-type lab, I could undoubtedly reconstruct the rest of his body and show you an entire picture of him. As it is, I guess we'll have to wait to see what this teaser will eventually reveal.

In fact, that gives me an idea for an avatar...
