You invite the people that are there and when you reach a reasonable start number (considering you can do a mothership raid with less than 8 and still make hundreds and hundreds of merits) start on the pylons. we tried with 2, thinking will alt to other toons to grab more bombs, if needed, but we kinda sucked on DPS on pylons so we asked one more to join. Quitting team for the bomb and with 3 bombs AV spawned.
Ive heard of a duo being able to complete it.
So anyways... if you keep in mind you dont need a lot to do this... you stop worry about it.
IMO, the raid should start with 3 person+, don't need to wait to have X many persons. and you get more ppl as you do pylons.
But that is only if you don't care about maximizing returns VS time, VS doing it many runs in a row.
I normally just do one run, and pretty much think about leaving zone after the AV is dead.
Grinding for Vanguard merits is not for me. -

They'll probably drop a bit eventually, but nowhere near the amount the level 50s have. -
with everyone making lot of inf with converter, you can expect a lot of niches to be profitable.
Im not in the moob for marketing much, atm, tho, i try to convert, with the reg merits i have here and there is all, i rather spend my game time doing trials/tf's, these days.
Yes i lost a bunch, yes i can still save what left of it, but for the now, im just enjoying my CoX the old way

If anyone remember that one time, i sold a super inspiration 2B inf (when they came out) and was all woot woot woot woot!!! about it!
Now i pay the price for bragging about it!!!!!!
A friend of mine warned me he was waiting for those converter to "act accordingly", but i was too dumb to react.
something like 4 days ago the glad armor procs where dropping low and i was thinking better move my false bids to somethign else!
But im a lazy *** and i havent!
this morning, I log on and see the disaster!, i bought 34 lvl50 Glad Armor proc for 1B each. Which mean i lost 34B inf!!!! ok maybe i could sell those for 300M and try to save a bit of this disaster, then maybe ill only lost about 20B. but for the moment ill just wait and see!
Im so dumb!
Im all smilly tho, cuz i know some of you got happy,
Ill make the money back, when ill care !

Just a word to thank you all for joining, it was 2 very good and smooth raids.
Hamidon spawned after 2 Monster kill on the first run, and the market was short on EoE, but we managed to pull enough EoE's from everyone sg/vg bases.
And I was very impress how smooth things wents, i mean we were only24ish in the zone.
We should do those more often.
I still don't want to involve myself in a regular schedule tho, but I will try to be around on the old schedules... sunday's around 6pm EST and tuesday at 8pm EST. *Hint* *hint* someone should try to lead it as a try sometime soon :P

Ill be down to run with a superteam, mainly to promote team play inside my own SG. But by joining another SG to run in a Superteam i fail my goal.
Any chance we could either coalition or use a Global Channel instead of coalition?

And we did it... well almost...
50% run --> done
75% push -- > done
100% push attempt --> Massive Lag
2nd attempt, no pets at rock, but casted once at hami, we did better, but we lacked the DPS... the greens do heal Hami pretty fast, so you need a lot of DPS.
We should try again but with a full league.
in the end we cleared the double bloom we created, and then pushed at the 50% bloom. Hami died a 3rd time.
Sad night to be a Jello!

So yeah last week was lame, the server was acting funny.
I wanted to propose a new schedule for a new try, earlier this week but i got busy...
What i fear is that will have the same issue again.There is no way to predict it, but im having a feeling about it.
So i figured we could try something a tad different.
I propose we do up to 3 runs back to back.
First run we push at the 50% bloom
Second try we do the 75%
and on the 3rd we try the 100%.
Im offering 1B inf for each run. If we cannot complete a run, i keep the money and we dont go forward with the rest. :P
If we totaly rock it, i will give away a total of 3b inf.
Who ever get the Kill get the 1b.
Now for the When....
I propose this sunday at 6pm EST. Its the regular hamidon raid red side schedule.
Also, im not worried about nukes and temps, i figure with stacked incarnate powers, will be fine. -
The rule of thumb is...
Monday, Wednesday and saturday for blue side,
Sunday and tuesday for red side,
6pm EST on week-ends
8pm EST on week days..
That said, i havent followed closely if that is still the case for blue side.
As for red side, there is not many going, main reason being, lack of ppl to lead it. -

Sadly the attemp was a bust,
We had massive DC 3 times in a row.
So we called it.
I plan to try again next week.
LAst year we did 75% push with no issue, Arky did 100% push this summer with no issue, but tonight the server was just not helping us!
Hope this is not permanent.

Global Co's 5th year anniversary special Hamidon Raid, 3B inf in prizes
Yes yes, you guys have* been stuck with us for 5y now :P
This year, we are proposing a Special Hamidon raid to celebrate the event.
We will host a 100% push Red Side Hamidon Raid, this Saturday the 7th at 9pm EST.
What is a 100% push raid?...
Its when you do not clear any mitos at all, you do not clear the initial mitos or any of the blooms.
We will setup pets and AoE buff, at the safe rock, then go attack Hami directly.
A 100% push was completed with success blue side (Thx to Arky) a few weeks ago. This time we do it red side.
What we need ?
- Bio nukes, chem nukes, damage nukes
- HVAS
- SHIVANS
- any other useful temp powers
- Clarion and rebirth
- Lore Pets (you need to tell them to attack hami, or they will attack whatever)
- etc.
If you do not have any of those, just show up anyways we care to have fun with you in any case.
But what about the prizes ?!
We are offering a generous 2B inf reward to who ever get the kill, yes yes 2B.
For this we will need ppl to help us determine the winner, the chat log entry does not always show up to everyone... so we will need many ppl confirming the name.
Then we offer 10 times 100m inf, for trivia questions. this will be durign the Monster hunt. while willl beat up on those monsters I will ask in Broadcast or Request, up to 10 questions, first to reply the right answer will get 100M inf.
if the Monster hunt is too short, well to bad, will figure something else.
In Any case i hope we get many many ppl to join.

The painful part was to move all the inf in one toon. The good news is, i was able to use the 26 market slots i have on that toon, plus the 20 gleemail slots. Still i had to relog alts and re-email, once i blowe the initial 48B (26 false bids of 1b, 2B direct inf, +20 gleemail of 1b)
I guess that technicly you could start with 74B in the form of 26 x2b +2b +20gleemail. But that mean you will risk (minimal risk) of buying a glad armor, but more important, get stuck evey 3sec with the ... cannot claim cuz ur at inf cap, error message.
Waiting for the 15sec cooldown on emails was the annoying part! -

Global Co is Hosting an Underground Trial Run Tonight 10pm EST.
During the event we will give away 1B inf in the form of 10 times 100M inf.
The concept is simple, there will be 10 Trivia questions, all base on the CoX verse.
First person to answer correctly in the league chat win the 100M.
Will start forming the league around 10pm EST in RWZ (will try to pick a vacant instance of the RWZ at the time)
One little detail about the run, will be glad to have at least 3 person++ with Clarion.
Also, I will bring my demon MM for the hek, I dare anyone to bring there Demon MM as well, :P -

The Corrosive Time Super Team, been going for about 2 weeks now.
We are having a lot of fun playing the new arcs, especially in the First Ward.
Some of use expressed the desire to play some variation of the original super team restrictions. We debated a few ideas, and we have decided to extend the rules a bit. We are sticking to only Corruptors but allowing any primary (minus energy blast), and adding 2 secondary (see power sets restriction)
Also, we hope to enroll more ppl. We have enough members ATM, but the more ppl we are, the more fun we have. A super team is always a good excuse to meet new ppl and create bounds. So dont be shy and join us, if you have interest. We are accepting lvl1+
What is it ?: Basically a Super Team, based on some of the new Power sets that come with Issue 21.
Archetype: only the Corruptor Archetype
Power sets restriction:
Primary: Any primary is accepted, except Energy Blast.
Secondary : you have to be one of the following 4 secondary:
- Poison
- Time Manipulation
- Kinetic
- Trap
You can create a new toon and join us, will accept lvl1 toon, in any teams, as long as we are currently doing something you a lvl1 can join.
You can also join on a toon you already have, that meet the specified criterias.
Power Restrictions: None. Pick any power you care in your build. We strongly suggest you pick Disintegration, if you are a beam rifle, tho.
Who can Join ?: Everyone can join as long as they stick to the few restrictions we selected.
When it start: Its already started, but we are welcoming new adderant, more we are, more fun we have.
Schedule: There is none, we play at hours and days we care, hoping we can have enough interest most days. Peak hours after 8pm EST.
Side : will start blue side, from there will see where the wind goes.
The Object: Really, we care to team with ppl, the more we are the more fun we have. The few restrictions, is only to add some spice to the mix. To be a Super Team, you have to apply restriction to the Archetype and sets or its nothing more then a pug.
Other goals are to enjoy the new sets, and the new content. Toward that goal, will play new content, the most we can. That means no AE.
Channel: I have created a channel named : Corrosive Time
Super Group : There is no obligation to join any specific super group, but I have created one just for the Super Team, off course I shamelessly using my regular SG name *wink* *wink* : Global Co - Corrosive Time .
But again, there is no obligation to join that SG or not, just join the channel, as will use it mostly.
Look and feel:. The non mandatory uniform and power colors suggested originally, had a huge success. Of all the inputs we got, everyone seems to agree the Uniform should stay.
We strongly suggest you review the original post and try to fit a costume toward the picked style. But we are not putting this as mandatory.
