go with current, tweak as ness..goto sirens and WB to get temp phase powers. that way you dont have to dedicate 5 powers for 1.

well,i dont have the time to create/post a complete build, but i can tell ya what you prolly wanna go far as far as set bonuses.

There really is no need for perma-doms anymore, so slottn for +rech only isnt ness. if i were you i would slot for HPs/ACC/DMG. doms start off with rather low HPs, so gettn some bonuses and accolades to boost them up a bit is useful.

no escape power such as phase shift or hibernate? with DR your (1) self heal wont be enough. id consider hibernate TBH

Me personally i am not going to let myself fall in that trend. I am currently PvPn with my Elec/FA brute and doin puuuurty good. I built him b/c there were just sooooo many fire blasters around, and i was able to get quite a bit of psi res on him too. how will he hold up against sonic or rad blast? i dunno, but as of right now hes doin ok. so im goin to stick with him. it would be pretty interesting tho to see 30-40 ppl in a zone pvpn with all blasters. I guess we will just have to see for ourselves when the time comes.

i just got a javelins volley chance for recipe and it was in the arena. so it seems there still working.

i made an elec/therm before they were the foTM, and lemme tell ya, that toon is alot of fun to play. it was fun when i 1st made him and no its LoL that i see a million of them runnin around. i also rolled a elec/cold and that was very promising too. my vote goes for elec or sonic/therm or cold

i would try to slot more bonuses for HPs. i was having the same problem on my mind/psi. when i would be fightn i would get my opponent so close to dying then BAM i would die first. since then i have respecd for more HP and got all the HP accolades to include FoN. now when i fight ppl whether it is a duel or normal zone pvp, i have more tools to my advantage. long story short, i die alot less now, and i thank the additional 300+ HPs i have managed in.


FoN would of been nice against that kin/elec defender. he would of TRIED to drain your endo and phailed epically. 1 min is plenty enough time to take out just about any AT once.

MP, i tested it this morning, and you can get one good shot in b4 going intangible, as a matter of fact on my dom my subdue was doin 211 dmg to my defender, once killed and spammed the subdue again, it did 342 dmg to my defender prior to goin intangible. so it is quite significant if there are 2 or 3 ppl doin it, so no, time is still not all that great if you have multiple toggles to turn on...

and like i said before, im not sure if it was on purpose or anything, im not sure to be exact. its not a big deal. i just wanted to point out that it was happening. but ty for sharing your opinion with me tho.

you all need to re read this thread. the OP is not talking about surviving drone attacks, he is talkn about dronin ppl on purpose. he is a troll lookn for a lil excitement. unless you stay at the base OP your not goin to get many drone kills, not to mention the 1st time you do it, players will leave that area forcing others to follow. have fun sittn there lookn at nothing.

take the cold mastery set on yur blaster and get Hoarfrost, that will get your precious HPs back up. youll even get hibernate if ya want.

whats so OP about therms? I mean yeah they can be a challenge at times but there nowhere near OP or in need of a nerf. Therms are fine just the way they are, both blue/red side

Haymaker does more damage

Knockoutblow - 151
Flurry - 135

KOB wins.

You might want to think again. these are actual numbers. no enhancements, no fury, no inspirations no nothing.

ok so, i got the toon to 50, went with a high HP build. (a cheap one at that) and he does everything i expected. i noticed that the person i am attacking does not have to attack in order to lose endo when i am chasn them, there mobility alone drains them along side with snow storm it makes it easy for my voltaic setinal to stay on em as well, that right there gets there endo to nuthn while blastn away with the /cold power..i.e- infrig,benum and HL.


as far as the no heal is concerned, i did manage to put med pool in build for aid self, and its workn out nicely so far. so if any1 is lookn for a fun and challenging set to play...elec/cold is the one. i am havn a blast with it, and that is what it is ultimatley about right? havn fun.

and i went with speed,leaping,fitness,med pool

Spawn Campn! i do not know if it was b/c they didnt know or do not care or just think its an easy kill or what, i dunno. Maybe there can be some "rules" called out prior to startn. I mean i know it is all in good fun, and thats gr8, i am not normally the one to care about stupid stuff, but last night there were atleast 2 or 3 regulars (fight nightrs) that were spawn campn and a few new people.

and yes your gonna want acro (if you can fit it in). i run it on most of my pvp toons, my dom bein one of them. do i think it makes a huge diff when i have like 4 kb prot IOs?..prolly not, but i had an extra power to choose so i went with it.


and to answer your question, the amount of rech dont really matter anymore, i went from havn a low HP 190%rech Dom to a high HP high DMG low rech build. i think my recharge is now somewhere around 135% and thats just so i can have DP up more often TBH. also go and get them easy HP accolades.(invader and HPT) demonic is easy to get too, that helps to get out of a sticky situation.

i was just about to make this exact same post lol. all these ppl QQ about AS/kick/flurry and to me i honestly think they dont even pvp. i think they read what others write and believe it. i pvp in the arena/zones everyday and i NEVER see kick or flurry used.

And as always, those of us that still enjoy PvP will find a way to continue to enjoy it. QQmoarplz

I run a lvl 50 mind/psy Dom in pvp and currently have Mace mastery. im thinkn of respecn out of it to go hibernate as i find myself dying more than i want to tryn to heal up in PFF. not to mention, right out of hibernate you can drain psyche mofos if they wanna stand around you waitn for you to come outta your ice.

indeed /MM and /Elec have there melee range powers but so does /EM. any solid pvpr knows how to stay out of melee range when using these powers, jousting..its nuthn new. with /MM you can TK thrust then DP and go, thats an easy kill right there, with /Elec you can thunderstrike and then power sink. so yeah you see alot of psy/ems runnin around, and thats fine, all im sayn is that /MM and /Elec are not phail.


oh, and geas only lasts for a minute, so once that wears off its right back to normal, nomore endo for juu. not too mention HE on a therm is back up again before Geas wears off. CP doesnt do much vs therms, especially a elec/therm.

uuuuuh, dont listen to musey plz, /EM is not the only good secondary, i have a /EM and /Elec and there both gr8. /MM is gr8 too, drain psyche is a beast in pvp and so is TK thrust, there are other good powers, but those are the ones that stick out most to me.

only way to get them now is at BM/WW...
