Blaster secondary!!!! Question!

Hi, I already have a /dev blaster and I'm really looking for another. I also have a /em and don't like it too much. My primary is sonic.

I heard that /elec is great in pvp along with /MM,but I don't see what's so great about MM. I think /ice could be good with it's slows....idk.

Suggestions?

EM and only em .. otherwise reroll dom .. boost range is the best blaster power ever

uuuuuh, dont listen to musey plz, /EM is not the only good secondary, i have a /EM and /Elec and there both gr8. /MM is gr8 too, drain psyche is a beast in pvp and so is TK thrust, there are other good powers, but those are the ones that stick out most to me.

Hmm. /Elec seems nice. Especially since it drains endurance. The only problem I have with /MM is that most of its attacks require you to be close.

I have a psy/em blaster and love it. It's tons of fun to play and EM works beautifully. A good attack chain ending with Power Thrust and Total Focus while theyre on their butt always works like a charm. All that combined with the power of Boost Range, seems to work just fine for me. Elec seems okay but, if you're looking for it to just drain endurance, I wouldn't waste my time. To me that's just not what blasters are made for, I like to stay at a good distance for the most part and for /Elec to drain endurance, that means melee range is a must from what i understand.
MM is nice and I have seen some nice things done with it. If you're wanting that endurance drain I would pick it over elec because it comes along with a nice KB, and scare is beastly.
Although in conclusion, I think if you put a good EM vs a MM or Elec, the EM would win everytime.

P.S. EM also comes with conserve power which is very handy vs. endurance drainers. That combined with Geas, lol@Therms or any other end drainer.

But that's all just my opinion

indeed /MM and /Elec have there melee range powers but so does /EM. any solid pvpr knows how to stay out of melee range when using these powers, jousting..its nuthn new. with /MM you can TK thrust then DP and go, thats an easy kill right there, with /Elec you can thunderstrike and then power sink. so yeah you see alot of psy/ems runnin around, and thats fine, all im sayn is that /MM and /Elec are not phail.


oh, and geas only lasts for a minute, so once that wears off its right back to normal, nomore endo for juu. not too mention HE on a therm is back up again before Geas wears off. CP doesnt do much vs therms, especially a elec/therm.

/devs are fun. Although they don't carry alternative build-ups/aims like many of the other secondaries have. Which means you won't hit as high, and your to-hit isn't as high. Most people use /dev's to start out with and are pretty good in Bloody Bay and Sirens, but when you get to RV /devs aren't the best.

Target drone is base 13.5% tohit. Buildup for blasters is 15%.

TD is always on and offers perception. For constantly hitting things dev is a great choice. It does however sacrifice "burst" damage for that ability. It is a fair tradeoff, but not to everyone's liking.
