All I can say is.... Psy/EM ftw! And.. Placate proc ftw! Me <3 annoying the peeps in RV with a good Psy/em. Most of the annoyance comes with the placate proc. I hear all the time.. "You only beat me because of that placate!" or "Without the placate, your build is nothing."
And all I ever say is... lol

I have a psy/em blaster and love it. It's tons of fun to play and EM works beautifully. A good attack chain ending with Power Thrust and Total Focus while theyre on their butt always works like a charm. All that combined with the power of Boost Range, seems to work just fine for me. Elec seems okay but, if you're looking for it to just drain endurance, I wouldn't waste my time. To me that's just not what blasters are made for, I like to stay at a good distance for the most part and for /Elec to drain endurance, that means melee range is a must from what i understand.
MM is nice and I have seen some nice things done with it. If you're wanting that endurance drain I would pick it over elec because it comes along with a nice KB, and scare is beastly.
Although in conclusion, I think if you put a good EM vs a MM or Elec, the EM would win everytime.
P.S. EM also comes with conserve power which is very handy vs. endurance drainers. That combined with Geas, lol@Therms or any other end drainer.
But that's all just my opinion -
Just a question I would like answered before I finish my Ill/Therm troller. Does damage buff from set bonuses affect the damage output of Phantom Army? As well as assault? Some valid answer would be much appreciated. Thanks.

What is the new PvP controller? I was thinking of rolling a new one to counter all those colds and therm corrupters. So! What's the Troller that has the most potential in ruling RV?!

That's kind of what I thought. But while slotting as ConFlict said, that leaves no room for a kismet +acc. Unless you were to slot that into Combat Jumping, in which, you must toggle on and off about every 10 seconds. That to me is a hassle in some situations, but if knockback is going to be that big of a deal soon to come I could see why it would be done.
That still leaves the issue of Scramble Thoughts vs. Acro. Unless someone can see somewhere else to fit Acrobatics in. -
Is there more heroes or villies on Justice? I've thought about moving a toon there.

Adding to the previous post, any well-slotted toon with +acc is gonna hit through a non-defense based toon. For the most part anyways.

On the topic of Gladiator's Armor... is it better to slot Frozen Armor with defense or resistance? I mean with the defense nerfs now-a-days (elusivity.. whatever) is it really helping much with the extra defense as compared to the possible resists?

I assume so. But I was just gonna talk about the KB protection and such. Now is taking acro very highly suggested? It'd be nice to have but is it worth ditching the advantages of Scramble Thoughts? There's the set bonuses and then there's the overall benefit of having a small stun vs villies. Which I'm guessing slotted would keep them stunned for around nearly 4 seconds. Thats and easy swoop in, kb, then TF. Or possibly another few ranged attacks.
Also, as I look at the new pvp sets that are possible for Frozen Armor, the resist sets looks like a possible candidate over LoTG.
My reason to this is.. well.. okay
Gladiator's Armor: (Assuming you give it 5, you get) 2.5% recov, 2.25% max end,3kb protect pts., chance for repel resist (bleh), 5% status protect, small psi and toxic resist, 2.25 max health increase, and 10% slow resist
Yes, you lose a lotg 7.5 and +acc, but, you can replace the Guass. in tactis with Adjusted Targeting to nearly gain all that back. And you only lose .5 damage buff. All the while with pvp set numbers adding up +accolades, leaving you with capped hp. -
I have tested in at least 7 times with different builds in the arena with a friend. It does nearly nothing to anything other than a heal.

I really don't think that I personally will take Power Boost anytime soon. Is acro really needed? Not much knocks me back with what little kb protect I have now. And if anyone has more suggestions for my posted build I'd love to hear them. I'd like to at least get my damage buff a little higher. But, whatever you all have to suggest, I'd be completely up for it upon reason. I'd really appreciate a few really good posted builds here as well!
I learn most when I compare builds on mids I think. -

And guys I appreciate the help, but is it only kb protection that my build is missing? I feel like I need more damage buff or something to compensate the damage loss of tk blast against high resist toons. Something just seems lacking when i stare into mids.
Also, as far as losing hoarfrost, I dont think I would want to do that personally because it helps my survivability. Another question, is taking Scramble Thoughts a good idea? Is it successfully usable? Lastly, lose the purple where Alex? Thanks again!

Just FYI for my build above... My last build had like 101% recharge and 90% global accuracy. So this is quite a change for me. :P

Okay so I have been using my Psy/Em in PvP for quite some time now. I've pretty much layed the smack down on everyone in RV but after the tk *fix* and the other recipes coming out, I feel as if I am need of an update. AKA: I'm starting to lose every now and then and I don't too much like it.
So I have decided to try and make a more damaging and hopefully overall better build and I hope someone can give me some insight on what I have come up with. Anything is appreciated. Thanks.
PS: I have never used psi dart before so I am assuming taking all 4 main attacks (psi dart, tk blast, mental blast, and will dom) is what this post was implimentng. Also, I have thrown around the idea of taking Scramble Thoughts as small stun. Be brutal guys! And btw, the empty slots, imagine they are replaced with pvp procs in the attacks, and panacea possibly in Hoarfrost.
