    Bot feeding?

    Yep - just drag an insp to the bot in question and drop it in. It is great for me as bot/dark - cause my build is very much based on bot damage and dark holds and buffs so I have little/no need for damage insps.I just feed em to my bots and go through groups quicker.
  2. Missed that one : ) Ty for info before I commit to the respec. I guess the tohit buff in Soul Drain will assist and the 3xrech red means that I can fire that every 50 seconds or so, but have not spent enough time in PvP to know whether the amount of misses may really hamper me.... Any more thoughts and opinions are very welcome.
  3. I currently have BB's attacks 6 slotted with 2xAcc however, my thoughts are:

    fighting similar level mobs I think that base Acc is around 75% for my attacks, so by my maths 1xSO will add 33% making acc at similar lvl PvP (Sirens) close to 100%. I am hoping focussed Acc should make up for the reduction in these enhancements from each attack in general PvE (where I fight at +2) and higher lvl PvP.

    If my assumptions are wrong please let me know.

    PVP help

    I have a lvl 29 Bots/Dark mm. The few times I have been into Sirens, I have been totally trashed by heroes there. They ignore my bots, go straight for me and I go to hosp. quickly.

    My holds are quickly negated by hero insp's and I am too squishy to last long enough for my bots to do enough damage.

    I did see an Bots/FF mm cope well pre-I7 using PFF, but nerf may have ended this.

    Sorry, but that is all I have at the moment.
  5. Thanks for the reply. I am not sure I need MOG recharge improved, as I seem to use it as either a last resort, or when I am up against sappers. I may put another fear duration in ToF and the recharge into Soul drain.
  6. I am thinking of doing a respec on Barroom Brawler. I want to be able to enjoy all game content, so am looking for an all round build that will be fun in both PvP and PvE. This is what I have come up with so far and would welcome any feedback:

    I have taken an additional attack because with the current build, which has Shadow Punch, Smite, Shadow Maul and Air Sup, there is still a break in the chain before the first has recharged + I wanted Fly, without Hover and access to the fighting pool so I could take tough.
  7. If you want to heal, but still do some some Soloing, you may want to build a controller with Emp as the secondary?
    I think the heals are a bit less, but your controller powers will be very useful throughout the game.

  10. Just a thought, but build one of each. You will then have the ability to play both and decide which suits your style of play better. I did this and am now the proud host of a lvl32 PB and 16 WS and I love them both. Having the level difference allows me to team right across my SG too.
  11. Thank you all. In the end I kept it in the respec. After all I would not want to offend my bonded Kheldian by refusing this form + yes, the damage increase is nice when I am targetting through the tanks.
  12. I have just dinged lvl32 with my PB and have a respec pending. I am thinking about taking Nova form out of my build.

    At lower levels it was great (4 attacks for the price of 1 at lvl 6), but now I find that my human form, is gaining in powers and am starting to think the Nova a little too squishy to keep with (I tend to fight with an invincible rep)

    Now my human form has good attacks, more defence, heals & buffs, can anyone give me some reasons to keep Nova form? 8 spare slots to use elsewhere would come in handy also.

    Thoughts and advice are always welcome.
  13. I could not agree more with Innigo. To be able to go from ranged attack, where I soften up a group for my teammates - to Dwarf, where i can assist in taking some of the aggro burden from the tank or keeping strays away from the squishy's - to human, where build up + incandescent strike can finish off the boss - All in one fight. What's not to love?
  14. my 2inf worth:

    I find most people in PVP good fun. I never used to venture into these areas, cause I did not think I would enjoy them.. I was wrong.

    A little sledging is part of the banter imho and I give as much as I get (fun not nasty). If they insult you, you have probably beat them. Remember sticks & stones....

    I thunk Badges won in PvP areas, should feel sweeter due to the "risk" involved in getting them.

    On a final point, I have found many chars happy to engage in whatever style of PvP suits me, either ambush or 1 on 1 duals with others standing and watching, complementing and laughing as appropriate and not ambushing the dualists. I have also found enemies willing to assist me in offering feedback on my powers and style. There are a few idiots about, but hey! walk down any street and observe.

    One of the Great things in CoH/Cov is the ability to PVE or PvP when I want to. Long may it last
