Did you know...
That the Nemesis Power used to be made permanent by farming the Staff mission repeatedly? One of the factors leading to this being changed was an All-Nemesis Staff raid on Hamidon taking down the jelly blob in almost record time.
[/ QUOTE ]
Didn't the Nemesis staff have a monstrously long range too? Or is it still capable of reaching things from (what seems) halfway across a zone?
[/ QUOTE ]
Not sure if it still does, but it used to have an ansiane range, for a time i could attack mobs i could no longer even see... -
....The preffered method of PL'ing was "wolves" missions, back when wolves couldn't jump vary high, had no ranged attacks, and tanks could aggro and hold aggro for nearly and entire zone. Then AoE blasters hovering above would let loose
...you could at one time TP to the resevoir zone attached to faultline.
...Faultline was at one time "The" place to level.
...at release scrappers were considered gimped
...at the end of beta I think at least 90% of players had flight.
....you used to have only 1 cotume, this made SG colours much more important than now.
...The Posi TF used to take upwards of 5 hours....oh wait nvm -

I'd like to take this oppurtunity to challenge States to a duel in the Arena, any lvl 6 of his choice, versus any lvl 6 of my choice.

I remeber when Faultline was the accepted place to lvl.....

As an aside... why do people call Rio de Janeiro "the city of god" when it means "river of january"? im confuzzled!1one!11!BBQ
[/ QUOTE ]
Isn't Rio De Janeiro, the city with the Giant Jesus on a mountian top? (but nicknames don't allways have to be related to the city's proper name, "big apple") -
While I took Statesman's repsonse to mean he would grant two of those that where already listening on the of chance he does read thsi thread again:

*M.W. casts blizzard in Producers office*
M.W.: "see? snow." -
A red replying to a red!
I so gotta get a job with Cryptic.
Seriously you guys get some spare time, and what do you do, post on the CoH messege boards. Kudos.

Ohhh, Ohhh
I want a "Piggy Hunter" mini game -
When does CoV come out?
how much have CoH AT's and powers changed in a less time?
I think worrying about how yoru char will act in PvP is a little rash at this time. Have fun playing CoH, enjoy what you have right now, and stop obsessing over a feature that won't be available for a very long time. -
[ QUOTE ]
That pretty much makes City of Villains unplayable for Controllers! Thanks!
[/ QUOTE ]
Argh...
Argh....
CoV, will not be controller versus blaster PvE. CoV will not focus (nor should it ever try to balance) on hero vs Hero. It will have Heors fighting Villians, which will have different and unique powers. Just as tuant will be re-worked specifically for PvP, I suspect Cntroller powers will likely have different effects in PvP.
I do not think we need to worry about changes now, to Hero At's effecting balance in CoV PvP. -

Best I can say is...soon.

Quick question on the subject of inspirations:
Will we ever be able to buy the better inspirations from our contacts? Likewise will this new inspiration be available from any contact what the other ones are? -
Gah, I don't care about the great CoH scrapper debate of '04.
So go take this conversation to one of the dozens of other threads on the subject.
So um... *must be productive*...
Costumes? Trenchcoats, dresses, are they stil post issue 3? -
Any plans to rework some of the original zones. Some of the original zones can get very repedative. Whereas the newer ones show a great deal more effort (larger budget perhaps?)
and what the previos poster said about Blizzard. -
Cowbell Pie System.
So out of combat, does that mean I will never need combat skills, could I as a lvl 2 go through the entire Cowbell Pie System? Or would I have to continue to lvl my combat abilities to keep up?
Oh and does it have anythign to do with a council or a war? -

what I want to know is why was the magazine told before us on the board?
Did the magazine release the article too soon, or was this a consience decision by you? I really want to give you the benifit of the doubt, because I would hope you have more respect for us than that.
