I've not put up a picture of her opponent, done in a more traditional look.

I proudly present the Thundress' nemesis... The VORLOCK!

When I started this picture I'd planned a sort've simple picture.
It was going to just be a rough sketch in a Darwyn Cooke-esq art style. I ended up going to full color with it and man am I pleased.

Author's Note: Heya, folks! I thought I'd share this with the RP forum as well as my server one.
It is just a quick little story I wrote up as a mini-intro of sorts for a new the arch-nemesis of a new heroine I thought up.
I've actually not written my heroine's intro yet, but I had this dream last night that I just had to turn into a short story, so here goes.
This is not set in Paragon, but rather my heroine's own city from my concepts of her as I built her. Anyway, I hope you all enjoy!

The manic laughter reverberated off the walls of the convention center. The eccentrically dressed man, looking like a psychotic inventor who was taking a trip of the local Renaissance festival, stood triumphantly over his fallen foe.

“At last, victory iz MINE! Soon none shall vith stand zee power of Vorlock!” With great flourish of his green cape Vorlock struck a haughty stance over the prone heroine at his feet.

In front of him a crowd of reporters had gathered. It was perfect. It had all gone to plan. The mighty Thundress lay unconscious at his feet. The daughter of the element was no match for his powers. Now all that was left was his victory speech!

“Writer’s of the free press! I am Vorlock! Ze Mystic scientist and master of ze Multi-realm! I come here to announce myself to ze vorld, and deliver my ultimatum, surrender! Or… SEE MY POWVER!”

“Mr. Warlock, Kent Jones, WhiteStar Herald. Why us, and why now?” a voice from the crowd shouted.

“That’s Vorlock, just Vorlock! And now because it was perfect! Thundress never expected it, never even imagined that I vould make my triumphant attack at such a moment as zis! And you… You, because I vant the world to see my nemesis fail!” He cried, throwing his head back and giving another cruel cackle of glee.

“Warlock, tell us, what is it you do exactly?” came another voice.

“I am the master of the multi-realm! Ze supreme conjurer of ze ether and ze nether! Ze vacuum of space, ze density of ze dwarf star, ze madness of black chaos! I am ze embodiment of all!” Vorlock boasted proudly.

“Varlock, why does your accent seem to solidify and break at random!?” shouted yet another inquisitive journalist.

At this the conniving European conjurer’s well groomed mustache seemed to bristle like the hackles on a dog's back. “VOR! VORLOCK! And vhat nonsense is zis?! You foolish little man, my dialect is not important! Can you not see ze story playing out before you!? You all are the only witnesses to the down fall of my mortal nemesis, ze great Thundress!”

“Well it just seems weird that one second you can’t pronounce your T-H’s and the next you can…” The man replied, a little more subdued.

“Silence! I vill have no more of zese foolish queries! If zere are no REAL questions zen ve shall proceed to ze demise of my fallen foe!”

“Just one last question, sir! How do you spell Warlock?”

“Vorlock, vorlock, VORLOCK! V-O-R-L-O-C-K! As in vortexes and locks, you stupid infantile little foolz! You think zat I can be made mockery of!? Zat I am a fool to be used for your amusement!? I have attempt charm and civility for you. No! You demand my true nature; so you shall have it! I am the Multi-realm master! I control the depths of the unknown! I am ze noise in ze dark! I am ze second set of foot steps, that extra breathe when you hold your own! AND NOW, you simpletons! You fools. You inept ingrates! Ze common laborers of ze so called ‘free press!’ Now witness ze death of Union City’s greatest her― Oh?”

Vorlock blinked, staring at the floor where his foe had lain moments before. From the crowd came murmured whispered and a few amused laughs. Vorlock looked up with a snarl, teeth gritted under his mustache.

There was a light tap on his shoulder. Vorlock turned his head sharply. “Who dares touch the Vorlock!?”

“Parhdon me, sir.” Strong reply in a soft southern drawl. “You’re interruptin’ the convention!”

The smell of ozone filled the room. The sharp crack of snapping electrical impulses tingled within the ears.
Ka-ZAT
The master of the multi-realm hurtled through the air, struck by a gloved fist charged with the elemental strength of a lightening bolt. The crowd of reporters scrambled to either side, letting the villain crash to the floor. Standing on the stage next to the over turned podium, Thundress dusted her gloved hands and flashed the crowd a dazzling smile, her black and yellow cape swaying back and forth behind her as she stilled.

“Sorry about that interruption, folks. Really poor mannahs on Vorlock’s part.” Thundress spoke admonishingly, glaring at the electrified villain who lay unconscious on the floor, his fingers twitching spastically form the pulses of electricity causes him the occasional twitch or tick. “I’ll take him outta here and y’all can get back to your convention. Ah do hope you won’t let this spoil your opinion of Union City, we’d certainly be pleased ta see y’all back again next year. Ai promise, next time, it won’t get interrupted by yoohoos that look like they stepped out of a Flash Gordon serial.”

Quick as an electrical current, lightening discharge sparking behind her as she moved, Thundress leapt from the stage and snatched up the Vorlock in one powerful fist. “If you’ll excuse me now, Ai best get our friend here to tha jail before he decides ta wake up and cause me any more trouble!”

As Thundress shot into the air the air around her cracked and rumbled like the thunder before a summer storm. The daughter of elementals shot through the broken skylight she’d first crashed through mere 12 minutes before. The little super powered tiff was nothing worth calling their editors over, not when you were in Union City. If only they had known then that they had seen the birth of a true power, for despite his eccentricities, the Vorlock did what so many others had tried during Thundress’ so far brief but glamorous career.
The Master of the multi-realms had left the heroine completely helpless. Her life was spared long enough to regain consciousness, thanks to the incessant questions of the reporter’s the Vorlock had foolishly chosen as his audience. If not for a flaw in the upstart villains scheme, he would have started his career by ending the career of Union City’s favorite heroine.

The ‘Stormers are focused on the golden age of mystery men, masked vigilantes in the darkness, stage illusionists turned costume fighters, racketeers from the future lost in the modern age, ancient heroes of myth and legend ripped from their time and thrown into ours. This call also goes out to any other RP SGs looking for coalition along with players looking for an SG to call home. That is a pretty neat character, I can take a whack at a pencil drawing of her this evening. Take the color offers into consideration, I gaurantee you won't find many out there who do full color commissions for 20 bucks.

This piece was a long time coming. I first said I'd do this piece of my dear friend Moggie over a month ago. Moggie has been infinitely patient as alot of unexpected distractions delayed production of this for some time.

And now at long last here is the Sunny Moggie that I promised I'd get to her.

All right, this isn't really CoH, but I know some people here urged me to try some Photoshop done art so I figured I'd share my very first picture done in PS.

Now before anyone replies allow me to note! Rowr has already urged I should try more shading and a more comic book style, but the style of this picture is -exactly- what I was going for.
To be blunt: I'm not looking for a critique of the picture. Encouragment for me to keep working on photoshop stuff is great, compliments are always welcome, criticis, is not as crazy as that sounds.
I don't remember the names of the folks who urged me to try photoshop work but I finally have and I thank them for encouraging me so I'm just posting it here for whoever wishes to see!

Really great stuff in that gallery man! You're great colorist, I'll have to add you to my watch list, and hopefully even get you to color a piece or two of mine.

You also can retrieve the "Dragoon ball" from criminal grousp in a scanner mish. When brought together these 7 Dragoon Balls are said to summon a legendary cavalry man who grants you one wish.

(( I knew it would be the Thorns! At first I was thinking it was the Banished Pantheon I didn't make the real connections till today when I popped onto one of my villains doing one of the numerous CoT arcs on sharkhead Isle.. You did a GREAT job making this feel like a good CoT lineage, it really syncs up with some of the darker aspects of their past that we learn about in Cov! Bravo, Heroid, Bravo!
