  1. Its the Axis America theory or the Dark World Requiem (dunno if it was proposed)

Requiem and his world of warwolves. Invading Paragon... gathering more troops to convert into his wolves to turn Paragon into the same world as his own... oooh :P
  2. Took me 30 mins to do the DE badge in Eden. Just get yourself a scrapper or tank with provoke/AoE that aggros, and just have em run around a bit and herd LTs. You just go around and pick off the emantors they drop, and all is good.
  3. Its amazing how people cry when they cant go and **** every group without being scathed.

Last i checked, Batman, Punisher, Spiderman, Superman, Green Lantern, Fantastic 4, All of the Xmen: All of them got their [censored] beat on more than one occassion by rushing into a large group of villains with no plan. Same should apply to stupid players.

    As for tactics:
Its called tactics for a reason. Say have a blaster snipe and draw aggro, pulling the group. Runs behind a building, watches the mob rush to him. (This would be like LTs and such, say outcasts in particular. They would have all cast their initial powers, which happens to be their strongest most of the time) he runs to the other side of the building as they come into view, and the mob continues to follow, rushing into the hero group, ignoring them because their real beef is with the blaster. This is when that group goes nuts and kills em.
Also works with taunt. Drawing them close eliminates the range advantage most villains have, and lets tanks and scrappers go to work on them with relative ease. Of course a controller helps: very good for holding the group in place while the melee's go to town.

Tactics arent hard to devise my friend. It just seems some people aren't as prone to using the majority of their brains to create them.

After leave 30, +1 should be the minimum mob you get in a mission (including bosses). There should also be a healthy amount of +2s as well.

God no! Some AT/builds never get the uber ability of the elite builds even at high lvl.

My energy / energy blaster cannot kill higher con mobs at lvl 45 that I could at lvl 20!

    Why?

Because my relative hits compared to the mobs has dropped to a fraction of what it used to be and energy/energy never get any ranged status effects or debuff powers to take the edge of enemies. But mobs get more and more exotic powers to make my life difficult.

I really fear the difficulty increase comming since the difficulty right now makes it really tough to play an energy / energy blaster at high lvl.

I am an Energy/Energy blaster, and at lvl 45 I easily able to dispatch lvl 48s... and now that I'm lvl 48, I'm killing 51s and 52s with ease in missions...

Sorry that you just dont understand how to play a blaster. Like i said in another post, there are controllers and defenders who have a good time playing it safe with pets. Or even a tank who will never get hit. You should try that, because you are failing as a blaster if you cant kill anything higher lvl than you.

(This is my morning of trolling, because there seems to be a whole lot of whines and [censored] about things that are actually good for the game. God forbid, you actually have to sit and heal a second in a mission before you go on.)

Oh and if you think soloing a red boss at 14 is hard, try soloing a Wisp Overlord surrounded by Overseers... you have no idea what difficulty is. But you know what, beating them was very gratifying because I lived up to and beat the challenge. A concept that many of you seem to be unable to grasp.
  5. I've blaster-scrapper duoed that entire Praetorian arc... so I don't see the whole problem with it being too hard. Of course, I guess some people wanna just stand there and blast or swing instead of using any form of tactics from pulling to, god forbid, running and healing, or better yet, something simple like a good luck. Tis Loony talk to the "casual" gamer.
  6. It'll probably be:

Peregrine Island is swarmed by the ghosts of villains from the Shadow Shard and a Rularuu invasion, as the portal opens up and all the bad peoples come through. :P
  7. easy way to fix it states, the difficulty slider, LT's in every solo group, more bosses in solo-duo. Then when you get to an 8 man team, you get +2 or +3s in the mish, and there are no minions. Everything is an LT or boss.

That'll make it nice and challenging, and rewarding.
