Shouldnt matter if this is a holiday or not....I7 has been long in the making and theyve been putting this off for way to long. They need to get in gear and get it on LIVE ASAP. Some of us are tired of waiting and others are trying to make their vacation times around it and cant when they keep putting it off. Come on guys....lets get it moving already.

Whether you're in the Navy or planning your vacation around I7, it shouldn't factor into the release date. I mean, come on. If you were building a house and it wasn't finished yet, would you live there w/ out a roof or if the wiring wasn't finished? You can either walk away from the deal or wait until it's finished, but either way, you'll get it when its done... not when you want.

Some people spend most of their free time playing COX. And that is totally beyond the point. The point is when other devs were heading up issues, when they gave a release date, it was HARdly, and I strongly use the word Hardly ever late if late at all. Now all of a sudden this issue has been " Being released" for almost 2 months now..and what have we gotten nothing. I also want a bugg free I7, but at the same time....weve been after this for a long time and been testing it for a while now. Its hard to believe having a BF in the computers/internet field, that its taking this long to get these bugs fixed and I7 on live. I dont meant to offend the devs, I know they are trying very hard to get this issue done. But if it was this difficult they never should of given us a release date. GL devs and Ill be back in game when it releases. Cause Im damn bored.

2 Months? Only date ever given was End of April. Its now the end of May. Thats one month.
As for Posi? End of May.. CuppaJo said something similar.. Not before the end of may.
Wed next week = May 31st. Sorry folks but that IS the end of May. She did not say it would not go up until June. So it can still go up next week and be in May... -

I hate to burst everyone's bubble here - but I7 is not going up before the end of May. We have a few more things left to fix/tweak.

End of May is only 5 days away though... -

You know, for *once* I completely love a piece of design by the devs, and what happens?
Everyone else hates it.
I like the Patron Powers, I like the reddish electricity, it's cool all around, imho. Sadly, hardly anyone seems to agree.

I agree.. -

3. Also make Illusion controls power Psi/Eng instead of just
I don't think that will cause any untoward imbalances.

OMG. Thats the best idea I EVER heard!!!! /agree.
**Master Solaren jumps with excitement.. lol -

Yeah, but there's no ghost-pirate spawns burying treasure chests in CoH.
We couldn't POSSIBLY put extra rewards on those... could we?

OMG.. POSITRON...WHERE??????????????? -

Broomhilda now that is a perfectly great idea, boycott this crap shoot.
I like that thought, anyone else with us, like I don't need to battle some ego crazed dev with a lvl 50 that is maxed to the hilt.
BTW They say money talks BS walks, so let show them where the money is, as in who pays for thier game and salaries.
[/ QUOTE ]
Cool.. boycott... Less lag for those of us who will be there to take on Statesman and his minions.. -
You have done an excellent job and will be sorely missed....
Best of luck!! -

I happen to think that the i5 changes have been overall very healthy for the game and have added a real degree of challenge to it that I rarely saw outside of the 1-20 game.
Its a game where tankers can do their job but can't do a team-level job without team-level support. Its a game where two or three tankers on a team isn't one or two too many. Its a game where blasters can do excellent damage but can be buffed up by their teammates to do more. Its a game where one controller doesn't bring along their own personal army of pets and single-handely locks down full-team-sized spawns flawlessly but rather where they can handle some and their teammates are there to do more than pad mission size.
No one likes being depowered, no one likes feeling like they've had their toys taken away or reduced. I get that, but as someone who also is a GM for tabletop and live action games I can see where it needed to happen. I see the results of these changes as being very healthy for the game long-term.
That said, I do believe that every kheldian character in the game should be given another free respec due to the changes in QFlight and NForm. Had these changes been announced in advance during i5 or included in i5 then this wouldn't matter. I may not like the reasoning behind the change, but I'm not angry about it like some of the more vitriolic posters are.
QFlight and NForm were being used by kheldians as "travel powers with perks" and now their use as "travel power" is non-existant. That is a fundamental change, and players who respecced and obviously didn't know it was coming deserve a chance to rebuild characters around what the power will now do.

PM's statesman about this.. answer.. Gotcha.
I dont know if thats a yes or no though.. -

New note:
All powers that debuff Resistance have less effect than they did before Issue 5. This includes all versions of Enervating Field, Freezing Rain, and Tar Patch.
Dev. Note:
In the Global Defense Decrease, all Controller and Defender powers that modify Resistance were decreased in effect. This global change altered debuffs as well as buffs. While this part of the change was not explained before, it was intentional and it was taken into account during balance testing of Issue 5. With the defensive buffs lowered in effectiveness, the debuffs would have been too strong in comparison if left unchanged, making power sets with debuffs too powerful compared to others.
We apologize for not having this out with the rest of the patch notes.
