Hey everyone I'll be purchasing GR soon and I'm excited to try out the new zones. However with the said I find myself a little confused on how to roleplay a Praetorian. I know there is no exact way to do anything however I'm just looking for basic tips anyone has picked up. Things that will help me stay in character the best I can. For instance what does someone in Praetoria do for their spare time. Stuff like that. Thanks in advance for the help.

I'm thinking about making a Widow, its an AT I've never touched and am interested in it. I was wondering is there any rp reason for males being widows now other than they just are? Just kind of curious about that, then another question I have is about making a fort with a few of the melee attacks. Will I sacrifice too much to add a couple in there?

Thanks everyone those were helpful answers and much of what I expected which is good thing. Eventually I want to mess around with new 1-20 content, costumes, etc. I just wanted to be sure I wouldn't be a step behind everyone while I'm leveling up. I'm sure I'll give in and buy it soon enough just wanted to be sure. Thanks again!

Hey everyone I've always been more of a forum lurker than poster but I'm coming back from my break I took as I awaited GR. I ended up staying gone longer than expected and just resubscribed yesterday.

What I really want to ask though is how much will I miss playing without GR for the time being? I want to play awhile before I commit to buying it and since I'm playing a PB I'm not really worried about the new 1-20 content. But what are some of the other things I'll currently miss out on while leveling up if any?

I've done this once and got great feedback, I'm stuck on a villain I want to make. This villain will be a earth/eng dom who uses crystals and beams. For some reason when I thought about it making a crystal looking character sounded easy but then I attempted it and struggled.

The character is male, and I was trying for a brighter color scheme but if you come up with something darker that'd be cool to. I've got a couple origins in mind, so magic, tech, etc. themed costumes are okay.

I have no problem starting teams, and find it the easiest way to get a team. However I hate it when people who didn't want to be a leader join my team and demand things....Like do my mission, up the dif, lower it, yada yada yada. Just start your own if you have preferences.

Hey Dechs I have a villain who might be perfect for your group as an enforcer type, he is more of a follower than leader and might fit in with what your looking for. Anyways send me a tell @redwrath or hit me up in game on Gigantico if your interested.

Thanks both of you for the help, I went back and read that arc and I guess what I came up with is they are blocked from feeling things like happiness, compassion, etc.

Your right though, to me it does seem that the VEATs are more like Equipped Soldiers as opposed to true Banes trained from children. Of course it just depends on how you roleplay it.

And oh yeah I know what you mean lol

Before I start I just want to say that I know there is know exact way to roleplay anything and that whatever I want should be fine. That said I would still like to hear some opinions from those who have input on the subject

Hi everyone, I've recently created a SOA and as im getting closer to level 24 I was wondering what would be the correct way to roleplay a bane given the fact that they are somewhat mind controlled. I'm not sure if I lose free will to some degree, or all together.

Also a side question, if in fact roleplaying a bane means giving up a lot of my personality would it be okay to roleplay with bane abilities but seen as the Mace that Wolfspiders sometimes use.

Well I made the character I ended up going away from my original concept(how often does that happen lol) but I just wanted to say thanks for all the help from everyone, and thankyou ddgryphon for posting that sample costume.

Thanyou for those ideas I'll definently give them a try, I've just been stuck with this character I've been trying to make lol. Everytime I get something I like I end up changing it, but I'm gettin there I aprreciate the help.

I'm looking for a little bit of help on getting started making a character. I've tried alot of things and nothing seems to be working for me at the moment. The character is a mutant elec stalker in his late teen years. I'm trying to come up with an early costume for him, like something he would throw together before going to rob a bank. I'm not sure if that makes sense lol. Red needs to be involved in the costume but other then that I don't have any prefrences. So just an up and coming villain costume if anyone could give me somewhere to start or a costume to build off would be great. Thankyou for any help you may give.
