About ConFlict, more,lot more, serious player , ... well i don't like ur gameplay. U use all triks in game for win (teleport to stalkers, sometimes to drones etc..)...


And well, i think this is "the lamers way". U are smart for sure, but an mmorpg is skill and reflexes based in my opinion, others is legalized cheats.

Nothing vs u as person... i simply hate ur gameplay (ur arena toon is a /therm ... this says more that what i can say in years about ur gameplay..).




But anyway, here we are talking about scrapper .. and for sure i don't accept any suggestion about it from a teleporter dom / elec/thermal guy... and,expecially, from a noob who plays arena setting it with no heal penality and spamming insp...

So plz, serious suggestion or simply quite.

Well, so:

I'm playing a scrapper form a mount and i love that toon. I'm fire/ and coniser it a good pool. But offcourse has its limits: u can't kill a well builded (and well played) /fiery aura brute (or tank.. most of times scrapper also).

So i'm tinking to make a second regen toon ... with same build and same gameplay (exept for minors details.. offcourse with sworlds u have parry and haven't dot so gampplay will be a little different) ...

But i can't decide betwheen broad or katana... and i' considering claws too.

About broad and katana: ppl usually say broad is better but...why? Katana is faster (and with a comunable - def debuff this could make the difference) .. offcourse has less damage on single hit but,if u make counts, it hase more damage/time.

Broad seems really good for zones.. but i want a full duel toons this time.. for zones ill continue with my fire/.


And now about claws: claws is a strange pool. Got lot of damage/time and allow u to take only 4 powers from ur primary.. could be good.


Any suggestion?


(Elec/elec must be good also But i love dps.. draining not so mutch).

Does someone know where can i find a list of pvp caps (from travel suppression end diminishing returns) for a Fire/Regen scrapper?

I'm trying to make a build but it is quite impossible if u donnow those valors.

I can't decide about witch primary is better betwheen these 3.

Fire seems amazing but i donnow if it works well enought vs /fire brutes.

Dark makes u immortal or similar, but got long recharge time and i donnow if damage will be enought for kill every one (all classes and builds i mean).


And about Claws.. i fought a claws yesterday and he was devasting.. his damage never stops.. but i never heard good things about claws and so got some reserves.


Now, considering it will be a duel oriented toon but must be decent in rv too, considering i ll go for a full ios build (got 5 toons to unslot) and considering, offcourse, i ll pick regen as secondary..

can someone help me to decide?

Well, i done both.

And i TOTALLY disagree with u!

SS has low damage,as i thought, exept when u stack 2 rages.. but this is a ridicolous gameplay in my opinion.It is so boring..

EM is amazing if u use it correctly.. ur damage under build up + fe is devasting .

And i also think SS will be nerfed soon.

Anyway.. don't tell me "u need ranged attak for play zones bla bla" : if u are able to play a melee u don't need it at all. U have Taunt and Web Envelope... u can also take a ranged attak from epic pool: u don't need any stupid 111 damage base ranged attak from ur primary pool. A 198 nd a 371 is lot better.


This is only my opinion offcourse, and well.. will see in zones if i'm right

Well anyway SS has too low damage in my opinion .. so i ll risk with EM.

But energy also gives rage... at least, this appears in powers descriptions....

Hi all. I d like to have some information about brutes' powers sets in pvp.

About primary: i know most of ppl go for SS, but does it happen only cause it has a ranged attak? Cause i son't care about ranged attaks, i simply want damage. And about damage Energy Mele is the Best (Electric is also good, considering it drains end too).


About Secondar: I like Fire Aura, it heals But WP also seems good.

As u know Thorny assault, Spines and similar have a base animation where spines come out from ur body..

My question is: when u read the activation time of a power (impale for example : 2,43 sec) u have to consider that time + base animation time..
Or in that time is already calculate the base animation time?

I know probably they suck both... but i already have 3 blasters (main included) , 2 corr and a dom...

And,considering my ranged tank project failed ( :P ) , i'm looking for something particlar and different.

Point is witch one could be better (or sucks less? :P ) ?

PB has -def, heal and an quite hight damage melee power (incandescent strike) ..

WS has teleport, shift (and hide) and some good escape abilities..... but it seems has very poor damage.

Any suggestion ?

Guys damn it! Fortunatly it works this way.

CC based pvp is pure [censored] for pure nabs.

If u like cc pvp can play WoW,AoC,Wharhammer.. or anything u want..

The main reason for i play this game is this is the only one (post-UOL) where pvp isn't cc based.

And he says also u are a noob cause u made a good toon?

Cause if u don't roll a pve toon and pretend to pvp with that (sucking antwhere,but thinking u are skilled cause u haven't a good toon) u are noob?

U never metioned if u are stalker or scrapp...

Take 2 ppl that never play this game.

Give them a Brute and a Blaster (or a tanker and a Dom)... and let me know who will win.

Than take 2 skilled guys (same skill) and do the same thing... and again let me know who ll win.

.. If u are skilled and have expirience in mmos' pvp Blasters or Doms will make u a killing machine.

If not.. Brutes,Tankers,Scrappers or Stalkers are better.

[And i'm not saying all Brutes,Tankers,Scrappers and stalkers are skill-less, but only they are char u can play also withouth big skill.
Blasters or Doms and no skills mean die any time and get 2 kills /day.. pheraps).

First: i simply don't play pve. Never (exept for farm when i have to slot a toon).

About elec i simply think u probably have too few damage for a blaster gameplay.
As sapper i consider better corr or defender... toons with heal anyway..

As blaster u need damage, or u spend ur time running away and taking 0 kills.

I simply want to prepare a toon in case they ll change psi in a silly way.
So many ppl cry for psi ..

(probably couse a psi blaster kills their immortality dreams, but let me tell u a thing: immortality is not part of pvp. Any class has to die from,at least, another one. If not, pvp sucks!)

But what bout Stone Armor? Why fire is better? Stone Armor has really a crazy amount of def.

Looking at tankers' powers on builder i had this idea: a Tanker with a range based attak chain.

Taking Earth Mastery and SS or Stone Mellee it seems possible.

(U ll use Hurl Boulder/Hurl , Stone Prison and Fossilize).

And i d like to try (considering my main is a psi/em blaster and this toon will be only a way for spend some time.. i have nothing to lose).

Now poit is witch primary have i to take? I was thinking about Fire, Stone or WP.

I Like stone cause it is Def based.
Fire for the heal (but i can take medicie pool anyway), and WP .. well WP usually is good

And about secondary i can't decide betwheen SS or Stone.

Point is /energy doms have a ranged kb.

So if u have 38 kb res u ll be kbed every time.

And if there are more dominitators there are more kbs also.

Anyway do what u want.

(And i think there are more scrappers than blasters heroes's side... but this is unimportant).
