The auras from the pet damage sets are 40' the auras from the recharge intensive pet sets are 20'
There is no reason to put them all in Hell on Earth, just the ones from the recharge intensive pet sets should go there. -

Ill/Rad controller with perma pa/hasten/am/status protection

Looking at this set in the character creator, most def the new thugs.
Something about this set will be changed before i17 drops, its to good!
The resistance the demons have is so high, its like 20% s/l 37% to their element and some other resists at 12%~
The tier 2 pets seem very cool.
Ember Demon gets:
Fireblast
+Res Aura (around 5%~ to all)
Single Target heal
AoE heal
Fireball
Fire breath
Tier one pets all get a cone breath related to their element.
Hell on Earth being 10m recharge kind of sucks but it looks very good. +37.5% Dam +7.5% To Hit and the chance for your minion to spawn Fire Imp looking dudes that do lethal/toxic melee.
Ugh, I am ready for i17 now. -
Seems like it should be since they have a feedback post for it. I'm at work as well.
SOMEONE POST SOME NUMBERS! -
I'm sure it is really survivable, but playing bots with a secondary that has no slow kinda seems like less fun to me. Assault bots burn patches will just make everything scatter around like crazy.

Reasons to Pick Thermal over Pain:
Better +RES from Shields, access to +RES much sooner, shields are perma out of the box.
Better +DMG and +To Hit buff via Forge, which can be kept up on 2-3 pets.
Better AV/Boss Debuff in the form of Heat Exhaustion
Comparable -RES AoE Debuff
Reasons to Pick Pain over Thermal:
Suppress Pain is really good if you can keep your henchmen in it.
World of Pain makes it easier to buff. You get your +RES, your +DMG and your +To Hit all in one buff, but the values are all less than thermals.
Painbringer is pretty awesome on certain henchmen like Bruiser.
Slightly better AoE -RES debuff.
Pain does not really start to shine until 30s imo, the +RES from World of Pain is really crucial to giving henchmen survival.
I see Thermal as a better set overall, it gets good early on and gets better later. You should just ask yourself what do you want to be doing more of, buffing or healing. If buffing, go thermal, if healing go Pain. -
Quote:Likely it will be the same -res as sonic attacks, and have the same duration...so if you get them all going on an AV or tough Boss it might mean something, otherwise probably be a little lackluster.Did no one notice the part where they said that the firewhip REDUCES THE TARGET'S RESISTANCE?!
That's incredible!
Whips also doing fire/toxic damage is nice, but the numbers might be lower than normal MM attacks to compensate for that. Since they also do -res its almost guaranteed they will do less than other MM attacks unless the dev's finally realized MM attacks are bad and this is the start of changing that.
Unless I am wrong on both accounts, I am thinking the attacks will still be highly skip-able from a power perspective. Since they look cool I expect lots of players will take them either way. -
I'm so hype for this set, the fact that it has gremlins aka imps seems awesome to me.
I hope they do some wacky stuff with it, maybe a teleport control power?
