  1. Liberty Legion has a uniform. Members are asked to use their third costume slot for it and use it when teaming but it is not mandatory. Don't often see it now days :'(
  2. I have a level 50 Empath, G'aia, I could bring along if your mate falls through.
  3. Feeling it Criz.

We also have Novabrand signed up.

    Come join the love.
  4. Fed up of the tyranny of those evening players when it comes to TFs I will be doing Synapse this Friday at 10am. (The time is kind of flexible if needs be.)

So, members of the morning crew, come and join me for a bash at this and some bad jokes.

I will be there as G'enome. Spines/DA Scrapper.

    Fire/TA

As a fire/TA do my debuffs stack?

I mean is it worth firing of a second set of smoke/poison arrow/flash arrow(?) during a fight?

    Fire Tank Woe

Do you find it viable to be the tank on a team as a fire tank until SO's become available?

I was just thinking that the aggro plus the squishy must be a nightmare.
  7. I would be interested in signing up as a Sonic/Sonic.

    Battlemage G'host

I will sign up on the BM forum.

    Fire Tank Woe

If you have to play 22 levels before a character becomes fun then something is fundementally flawed with the powers.

Even one no endurance damage resistance power akin to the other tank primaries would make a huge difference.

    Fire Tank Woe

Now I know that this has probably been said to death but I am so shocked by just how useless my fire tank was at early levels that I had to post to vent even if no-one listens.

I have had fire tanks before but to no great level and I started one again today on Union. At level 8 I was unable to take on one yellow lt and two white minions without using an insp or two. I have no idea how that fits on the imaginary scale of how tough heroes should be but I can tell you that I have never played a more ineffectual toon in eighteen months of altitis. Like a tank who can't take damage. A scrapper with no attacks. Like a brute with no rage, this being the most accurrate comparison in my book. I had endurance problems, I was weak and I did not have fun at all. I ended up deleting him as I could not bear the thought of having all my power choices pre-ordained just to make the toon playable. I resent that the fitness pool is a must nevermind that I have to choose leaping and fighting to stand any chance of actually enjoying myself.

Yes fire tanks were l33t, so what? I could not care less if builds are l33t or not. Superman is not everyone's favourite hero and I do not care one jot if other players have more powerful toons than me. Please put the fun back in to fire tanking as we are left with just 3(!!!!!!!) viable primary choices for tanks atm.
  10. I sorting out a run at the Citadel TF tomorrow morning at 1100.

I will be on as Mandorallen so give me a shout tomorrow if you want to join in.

If you want a place reserved then post here please.
  11. Well done to the second best empath in my teams
  12. OK, I went into Warburg last night with 4 tanks and a scrapper from my sg. I proceeded to egt held and killed, tp'd and killed or just plain killed.

Are we doomed to have to avoid PvP zones or is there hope. The free for all nature just made it suicidal to leave the safe area.

I have never PvP before so I am thinking that some of the clever and Arena hardened Empaths out there may have some suggestions for me.
  13. Due to a fortunate change in RL circumstances please ignore the post re:The Protectorate.
    Sorry.
  14. The Protectorate Coalition

The Protectorate Coalition has been established to provide a home for all of Paragon's heroes. It is our aim to provide a coalition of linked super-groups which will provide a supportive and friendly base of operations for the beleagured heroes of Paragon. With this aim in mind the first two branches of The Protectorate have been founded.

    The Protectorate.
This is an SG for lower level characters which we hope will provide the support and friendly atmosphere from which all our members will be able to launch a successful crime stopping career. We are looking for lower level characters of all types to join us and provide a support service of friends, contacts, advice and approachability. We are looking for new players, casual gamers, active alts and new main characaters for established players. If you are looking for a helpful group of heroes for when help is most needed please contact us.

    The Protectorate Elite.
We are looking for more experienced characters (recommended min. level 14) to join The Protectorate Elite. For those characters who have already made a successful start to their careers and now seek to broaden their horizons we offer the Elite branch of the coalition. We hope to offer advice, teams, organised tfs and many other services to our members as they tackle some of the more advanced challenges Paragon has to offer.

The Protectorate is now recruiting at all levels.
If you wish to join our coalition please :-

    e-mail us at protectorsinfo@aol.com
(for security all heroes should use an e-mail alter-ego)
with details of characters and times likely to be online for recruitment

    see :- Fearnix - Protectorate
    Mandorallen - Protectorate Elite
Look for these characters in game

There will be recruitment meetings held on 10th and 11th May as follows :-

11th May - 11am BST Protectorate Atlas Statue
    - 12pm BST Proctectorate Elite Blyde Square

12th May - 8pm BST Protectorate Atlas Statue
    - 9pm BST Protectorate Elite Blyde Square

All characters are invited to join The Protectorate Coalition. We have 2 rules.
    - Please remain active, one hour a week is active
    - Please respect all other heroes

In founding this coalition we hope to provide a home for all types of gamer be they serious/casual or somewhere in between. The Protectorate is designed to offer a continuous thread through the career of a hero where they can find the support they need.

There are rumours of an exclusive branch of The Protectorate which has formed to deal with only the most perilous of threats facing Paragon today. We can neither confirm nor deny this but heroes of security level greater than 32 should see G'aia online or e-mail the address above.
  15. Legion of the Damned is a demonic/mystical themed supergroup currently active on defiant. I was lucky enough to have one of my characters invited (G'aia) and I can recommend the group as a really good, supportive community to game within.
If your interested look me up on defiant.
