At the moment? probably 1,750 (400 for July 1st, 400 for your July billing date, 400 for your August billing date, 400 for september, 150 for having 34+ tokens as of the Issue 21 launch).

The only 2 things that have been taken off the market are the VIP Headstart (6 server transfers pack) and the pirate costume code.

As to what you can buy:

They may have re-evaluated the change to base storage and determined that it was where they wanted to keep it. They may have re-evaluated it and decided it should be changed but couldn't agree on what to change it to.
Yeah, and they could have said something too. Really, how hard is it to even open up a dialogue with players after 3 years of "re-evaluating" base storage?

    Almost 3 years ago (11-20-2008):

    A. In short, the market. The market system is designed to have a steady supply of salvage coming in. If large salvage racks were added, it would create a temporary supply problem of unknown duration until the salvage racks filled up.

Since having salvage temporarily dry up would be a big problem for all players, this number was intentionally kept low. Once the impact on the markets as a whole can be measured, we will look at adjusting these numbers again.
Having a Double XP weekend or a new AE exploit has more impact on the auction houses than base storage, otherwise VIP players wouldn't have got the increased storage they did OR being able to buy even MORE storage from the Paragon Market.

It is more than past time they do something about this.

Then they can demonstrate that. So far every single time they've said that they'll re-evaluate things they've either didn't change a thing or changed something so far behind the scenes it was completely invisible to the end user. If it is completely invisible to the end user, it might as well not exist.

This isn't just Bases, it is PVP, Badges, Drop Rates, Incarnate Table Rewards, and many other aspects of the game.

I can't even remember saying that, if I did.

The moral choices a player makes before 20 has no impact on 20+ play where they can switch sides like every other character.

We definitely could (and did) store event salvage in bases before the change. Now we have to leave it on characters because the storage limits are too low. The developers even acknowledged that.

And the decision may even be "we don't have enough accurate information to make a change right now". And that's not even factoring in the part of the process that goes into deciding what the new price should be.

Sure, there were several posts with feedback on the Pirate costume cost, but there is also feedback that we the players can't see and that is how many of these were purchased at that price. Not all players post on the forums, Facebook or Twitter. And there is even more data that we can't see that PS can see that they are likely to use in their re-evaluation processes.
Or they could be re-evaluating like they did with base salvage storage (edit: you know when they changed it from 2,500 items to 30) in Issue 13. You can't honestly say that after 3 years changing one value in a database is that <censored> hard.

Re-evaluating is Paragon Studios-speak for "we won't do anything about it."

Stuck waiting. Do you have 34 Paragon Rewards tokens? Go to the Paragon Reward Screen. Move your cursor to the top of the thermometer and the little gold notch. Read what it says about completing Tier 8.

  8. Problem:
In the Underground Trial, Desdemona is a hot potato that most players don't want.

    Suggestion:
Let the player she is following dismiss her. She should then wait 5 seconds then latch onto and follow the closest player to her. In order to do this, have the player be able to click on Desdemona and tell her to "Stop following me." Another player could, if they want, click on her and tell her to follow them. It should be noted that this tech already exists in the game with the Warburg scientists, so the developers have a template to look at (minimal to no programming time).

    Additional benefit:
This suggested feature could be applied to all other NPC pets to introduce strategy in dealing with them in other missions.

It makes more sense, in my opinion, to remove them myself than to criticize the badge design for allowing one person to potentially ruin everything.
And in some cases that isn't an option. When I have difficulty, on a weekend, getting a consistent group to even get to 12 players, then I can't afford to "not invite them back" in some cases.

Funny, I don't find them rewarding at all. And more to the point, they are supposed to be a deterministic method to get incarnate salvage. If players can't get the badges, then the deterministic approach to getting the material isn't a viable option.

Again, the group thing comes up. Without getting a consistent group, be it a set group for the badges or a dedicated super group, the problem is the same: getting the consistent group.

I tried many, many things before trying that solution (partially formulated by reading this section of the forums, partly by consulting with Arcanaville). The thing is, it works. It accomplished the goal: get the badges by minimizing the factors that could go wrong.

I asked a couple of questions:

[09:32] <SnowGlobeCoH> Q: Will the Pargon Market items get better descriptions? For instance what is and is not included in bundles?
Short answer: No, as they have very limited space in the market database.

[09:36] <SnowGlobeCoH> Q: Ok, can an expanded "Here is what is included in this bundle" be put on a new section of the main www.cityofheroes.com website?
Short answer: They'd like to fully integrate the market outside of the game, but that isn't possible at the moment. However the feedback was noted.

I'd like to expound on the idea that Paragon Studios could have STATIC pages for descriptions and also forum posts as well.

As they are set up, they are not pug-friendly, because some person will screw things up for up to 23 other players either by not paying attention or on purpose. You want challenging badges, fine. Challenge in a way that player stupidity or malice is mostly taken out of the equation.

    Ok, here are a couple:

    Lambda:
Antacid Badge - Get 10 Molecular Acids and no Pacification Grenades in the sabotage phase, but don't use them. You aren't allowed to use any Molecular Acids during the fight with Marauder, but you can collect and use Pacification Grenades.

    Keyes:
Loves a Challenge - Complete the Keyes Island Reactor Trial without you being defeated during the final battle with Anti-Matter, but you need to be in the battle area for the duration of the fight.

Avoids the Green Stuff Badge - Don't be caught by an Obliteration Beam in the final battle with Anti-Matter during the Keyes Island Reactor Trial, but you need to be in the battle area for the duration of the fight.

    Tin Mage:
Midnight Dodger What Dodges at Midnight Badge - Take no damage from proximity mines during the warehouse battle in the first mission of the Tin Mage Mark II Task Force, but you need to be in the warehouse for the duration of the fight.

MoSTF, MoRSF, MoITF, Mo5th TF, Mo5th SF, MoLGTF:
You need to be active in all the missions without being defeated. You are not dependent on everyone else not being defeated.

You can back out of the tailor without applying any changes.

Enter the tailor, see what parts have an influence price beside them or are generic parts.

It usually happens when old parts were changed, and this is why we all got more free costume change tokens.

The Origins Pack replaces "costume pieces" with something like "5 origin-themed capes."

But it is noted in the store now.
Can anyone confirm that the Martial Arts Bundle is no longer in store?

    Also, Bundle added: Mutant pack.

    Non-Existent bundles:
    Good Vs. Evil
    Going Rogue costume pieces
    Going Rogue: Complete costume pieces

Actually one pack (capes) and then you have to get the rest (auras) individually.

At least that would be more accurate.

I'm going by what is available on the market for item counts.

Check this page in that spreadsheet for the list of barbarian items counted. My source data is available for all to see, and you can verify yourself from the store if you want.

    In other words:
    Mace - Check (already counted)
    Warhammer - Check (already counted)
    Shield - Check (already counted)
    Sword - Check (already counted)
    Axe - Check (already counted)

It doesn't have anything to do with an entitlement complex. Though it sounds like you should look into a mirror before accusing others of having any complexes.

This is a casual-friendly game. When PUGs still regularly fail these and others aren't even bothering with the challenges, then yes, they are harder than they should be.
