I hope they are combat emotes, like how you can fight from ninja run. I would ONLY fight from ninja run on several toons if it didn't cost end, or even if I could stick an end reducer in it.

Here is Tin-Star. I was inspired by the "Stranger in a Strange Land" Iron Maiden poster, Rio Blast for He-Man, and the "Somewhere in Time" Iron Maiden Poster.

Hope they get smart and go to Dragon Con.

Quote:See, I just don't get this. They have to make money to keep the game running. I have no problem with that. Which is part of the reason I am not so worried about the free month. As long as I get all the stuff, I really don't care about the manner in which I get it. I will still get the costume bits, and the stances (what ever they are, sounds exciting) witht he purchase of an upgrade.
They're looking to seriously cash in on the pre-purchasable perk of early powerset access. It's kinda disgusting.
I am not sure how it is bad to attempt to make money while running a for-profit business. -
This answered it for me. I will buy the pre-order, then upgrade when it is offered. I am not concerned at all about the game time.

Hesitant to chime in here, but... The problem I had with those who only PLed in the AE, was that they didn't STAY there. The got to 50, and then decided the rest of the game and non-AE teams were for them. I have no problem explaining the game to a new player on a low level (below 30) toon, but if you are lvl 50, you should know you way out of AP. Call me an elitist if you want, but really, AP?
So what they did was leave the AE, and then started to screw things up for others who were playing the game, and not sitting at the end of a map while some one else played for them. I am not saying everyone who did the AE thing was like this, but there were enough to give the AE a bad name.
Just my take on it. -
PP it does my heart good to see you post a somewhat happy post. I am also excited to hear about the "more" part, and to know about GR purchasing options.

This si what I am wanting to know, and why I keep posting on it.

I want the complete package. Can I preorder that? If I can't will there be an item pack offered. While I love this game, 70$ for all the options (early start, and items) is a bit much.
-
Disagree with this in a massive way. Paid for is paid for. Be it in a DvD pack (which I bought at Big Lots last summer) or in the hero gear pack, which I bought when it was offered.

Quote:I hope this is correct. Would be nice if a red name would let us know. From how I read it, it's either $30 or $40, but not both. You pay $10 extra, you get $10 of extra things, just like a Booster Pack. Makes sense from their normal pricing standpoint. Also, $30 makes sense for the pricing of an expansion. Couldn't imagine paying $70 total for an expansion.

Quote:Fixed that, thanks Bill for pointing out that I may be overcharged if I am not careful.I don't know how the NCSoft store will work - if Aion's any indication, there'll be two separate preorder options (one for regular, one for complete.)
If you preorder the physical box, most stores will let you say "Y'know, upgrade my preorder to the complete edition."
And if you pay $399 for it, you've been overcharged just a bit. >.>
I do want the box, so I will most likely go with the local Game stop. -

Virtue and Freedom tend to be the most populated servers. Welcome back btw.

I am a bit confused tho. Will I need to spend 29.99 on the pre order and then 39.99 on the complete edition? Or will one purchase go towards the other. I want to pre-order, but I also want the complete edition.

Take that Game that shall not be named!
That is what an expansion should look like! -
I think the vets should go before the Hero Con attendees. Just saying.

Television rots the brain! Never let the kids watch it.....
Humph, this all reminds me that my 8800 will not cut Ultra Mode. Must have new video card! -

WB. Takes a lot to admit you were wrong, and I applaud you

I hit upon some really good writers (Brent Weeks, Eric Flint, C.C.Finley) that helped me back off. At the same time I can't blame the people who do want more.
I don't think the current game is the problem, or lack of fun in it, I think it is the tease given with NO follow up. The marketing dept for this game really really stinks. It dosen't help that we have the friendliest, and most helpful Devs in the MMO world. We are all pretty sure they want to tell us, I bet they are chomping at the bit to tell, or show us how cool the things they have been working on are. We are also pretty sure marketing will not let them.
I think that is what builds some of the resentment seen as much as pure desire to know more. This goes back on them for teasing, not on the player base for being angry about the lack of follow up. I am sure we can all (or most of) look back on life where someone got you excited about something and didn't follow through. I know I can. -
