Thanks for all the replies so far.
Some background:
I wanted to go WS (over PB) primarily because -Rech is one of my favorite secondary effects and it has some of the goodies found in the melee cat of Dark sets: a damaging heal; a PBAoE damage buff; what looks like a cool pet power, the mez aura, etc
So, I just started comparing it to other sets with the -Rech secondary and found a brethren in Psi/Men: the standard Blaster dual damage buff, a mez aura... (+) the built in Defiance damage and psuedo mez protection
I may eventually go with both but being that I already have an -Reching Ice/Ice Dom 50 under my belt as well as a 42 -Reching NW; I'm looking at leaning towards one or the other for the time being.
I'm taking it all in; thanks again everybody. -
So, I was on this push to get my Troller to 50; in a mad dash effort to unlock HEATs and get my hands on a shiny, new Warshade.
However, as I was Midding through the Psi/Men Blaster powers; it seems as if rolling a Warshade becomes nothing more than an exercise in doing it because I can?
Any opinions, comparisons, rebuttals... pros/cons are appreciated. -
Still waiting for them to bundle up all of the Super Boosters and offer it at a discount; lol.
or
Find out that these are the first in a series; "Super Sci I, Tech I, Magic I, etc."

Port the new tab-styled character creation screen over to the custom critter creator. If you're not ready to up the CC with the available power customization codes; then just leave off that particular tab.
Can we get the 'personal record' GUI/function (like we have for ski slopes/flashback) added as an add-on? Primarily for timed missions [and maybe later expanded to track kills [for the yet to be added Survival goal ]]?
Can we have a Survival (Advanced) goal added:
It would have to be worked in so that it can not be added to a chapter that already has other goals active and others goals couldn't be added while the Survival goal was active.
The goal would have a dropdown that would allow Waves to be (optionally) defined; the default being random mobs from the enemy group chosen by the author. Each wave added, by default, would have an automatic, minor, upward adjustment in spawn number and/or difficulty. -
Note on NR; when going from a backwards run to a backwards flip; the movement of the flip contradicts the PoV of the run.
[jumping from a backwards Walk does the same thing... isn't jumping supposed to be disabled when in Walk mode?] -
Eventually, can we revise Prestige Sprints in a similar fashion:
Turn them into unslottable Sprint powers (at a percentage of their current run speed bonus[and with slightly differing running animations (outside of the aura)]) that can be stacked with regular Sprint... kind of like having a graphical palette of toggling Swifts to be able to choose from?
...possibility of an alternative Ninja Run and Walk animation? -

We're making a house.
Positron is the manager. He looks over everybody and makes sure all jobs get done.
War Witch is the architect. She makes the blueprints and decides what the house will look like.
pohsyb builds the house based on the blueprints. He places the building materials and hammers in the nails.
BABs is the painter of the house. He makes things look pretty.
You're saying all the devs that have NOTHING TO DO with fixing bugs should drop what they're doing and fix bugs instead. You're saying the painter, and the manager, and the lady that makes blueprints should STOP doing that and go rebuild a wing of the house. You're saying that BABs, instead of painting the parts of the house that are done and correct, should somehow redo the kitchen cabinets.
It's not his job, nor does he necessarily even know how to fix bugs. His job is completely and utterly unrelated to the thing you're telling him to do. If we were to stop production on everything else until bugs are fixed, probably 90% of the devs would be sitting around doing nothing. Bugs would continue to be found and fixed at the exact same rate that they're being fixed now. The only difference is that everyone else on payroll isn't doing anything now.
There's plenty of stuff for BABs to paint while the garage is being fixed.
Nay... nay I say!
Jay paints the house; BaBs automates it. -
Willpower - Rise to the Challenge: Has a ToHit check but doesn't allow slotting for ACC, Accurate Healing sets or Accurate ToHit Debuff sets

Hm... probably because it screams, "WATCHMEN!"?
that is all. -
In other notes... this is perfect for some of my toons that may have taken CJ; not only for the vert but for jump control as well. Those particular toons may find themselves respeccing into another power.
As far as comparing it to CJ or SS; it has no Def, no Immob protection, no Stealth and is unslottable (although it would be nice to have that option for those of Natural origin; *winkwinknudgenudge*; j/k)
Despite it being the perfect booster for Naturals; they didn't label it as such (like they've done with the other Super Boosters). So whether or not it actually is the Natural Super Booster remains to be seen (any Devs care to clarify)?
*[Heeeey... can't we get just a *little* stealth added to it... and just a smidgin' of translucency?] -
Martial Artist is the perfect personification of the Natural origin... for the standard comic book world and action genre.
If you're a powerless super badas, of course you must know some kind of martial choreography.

So... if the reason behind not having Ice Melee for Brutes is because the -Recharge affects Fury buildup (this is the reason?); then I don't get allowing Energy Melee.
Nothing says, "Here, let me hinder your Fury buildup." more than a mob under a constant mez.
Not mad at it... just pointing it out and wondering how it makes sense. -
Detoggling toggles when toggling walk is very... un-cinematic.
Suppression would be better.
'Affecting Only Self', would allow for non-aggresive toggles to remain active.
Only detoggling other movement powers would probably be optimum. -

Follow up question; if I have DN applied, will it cancel out my automatic slip back into Hidden status? (In reference to just Mask Presence; no Placate)
-
Thanks for the reply; I figured the Placate might get canceled out but I was hoping there would still be a window of opportunity for the crit.
-
Does casting DaNi on a placated target break the placate?
Can you successfully placate an already DaNied target?
If it came down to choosing one or the other, which way would you go. -
Having an "/event" command would be a nice QoL feature for those that log in after the initial event alerts.
Typing "/event" would list all applicable events that are active; whether it's Zombies, Ritki, Miner Strikes, Giant monsters, etc. in the player's chat window. -
Will slotting the Force Feedback proc into Carrion actually affect the player or is it wasted on the pet?
