stalkers having [censored] dmg out of hide LMFAO

    [/ QUOTE ]

Tell me one power except ET that will do serious damage out of hide.
  2. [ QUOTE ]
Since stalkers have such an extreme damage output, remove the resists to status effects, they should not have resists if they can kill most classes in two hits anyway in equal level/slots.

    [/ QUOTE ]

[censored] idea. They are a melee AT that cant do much out of hide.

    [ QUOTE ]
Make +perception vs Hide ratio a little more balanced so you actually have a chance to see them with so called 'Stalker killers'

    [/ QUOTE ]

Stalkers ARE the only AT that is based around stealth.

    [ QUOTE ]
Change how Hide works, basically make there be a chance (lowerer without +proc) to see stalkers in a certain range, this one would be a big change so if it was implemented then would need to increase the stalkers defence a bit to give them a fighting chance. Idea i had was a 10%-15% chance without +proc and between 30%-40% with +proc (difference with +proc substantial because not many classes support it and would still be fairly equal because each target in combat would still have half a chance to win or lose, so stalkers not overkilled)

    [/ QUOTE ]

If they'd ever make that, they'd make AS strike uninteruptable.

    [ QUOTE ]
Reduce the damage output, despite how much damage they deal and at the minute it is a problem but as damage dealers this should be a last resort, I personally am not in favour of this one because i think it would be overkill but nevertheless its still an option.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Their damage is [censored] out of hide anyway.

Stalkers underperform in high-end pvp, teams and of course they got their key power, placate, bugged. Not to mention stalkers in PvE. Most of them are not getting selected for teams with results to boring soloing, Both pve and pvp. They are not that great already.
  3. [ QUOTE ]
I mean any player stands no chance against an equal level stalker no matter what AT/Powers they are

Only n00bs wont stand a change.

... and die of old age and exhaustion in the process

Well, first, thanks to Swissy for posting the vid here, I would have done it myself sooner or later, but being introduced by this talented person is a reward in itself.

Then, thanks to all of you above who took the time to download the vid and leave a comment. I know it's a strange way nowadays to distribute a video (youtube is the standard) but I worked hard on the visuals (lightning, texture enhancing, sky coloring etc.) and I didn't want to downgrade the quality too much.

Anyway, I'm glad you liked this video.

    [/ QUOTE ]

I am sure you can make a 1 hour long movie for CoX

Like there is much pvp going on in RV, and not like a dm scrapper can kill a tanker etc.

Can a Claws stalker kill a proper invuln? no.
Can a DM scrapper kill a proper invuln? no way.
Can a claws scrapper kill a proper invuln? no.
Can a DM stalker kill a proper invuln? No, but has the best change in comparison with all the others.

How can claws be better than Dark/Spines? PvP wise. Its just impossible.

    [/ QUOTE ]

I think dark is much better than claws, but claws is better than spines, because of the DoT in spines, at least until they fix placate once and for all

    [/ QUOTE ]

There is not even comparison, anything is better than a fully lethal set at pvp. I am aware of the placate bug but impale -> <3

Regen aura especially with power boosted is very nice for a troller meaning you can concentrate more on controllingJACKALLIKESTONYPL than healing, but thats probably more relevent for an empath troller with a more active primary.

Except of course PB doesn't affect +regen powers...

    And happy b-day Philn00b!

    [/ QUOTE ]

PB does affect +regen powers, andJACKALLIKESTONYPL who you calling a noob?

    [/ QUOTE ]

It affects straight-up Heals (Aid Other) and Endurance Boosts (Transference).
It doesn't affectJACKALLIKESTONYPL +Regen (Regen Aura) or +Recovery (Speed Boost).

    See here.

Woo finally B.A hits 50! Been a long time coming (over a year) but finally done it at 1 am in the morning. Been good fun although its sad to think of all those that have left the game whilst teaming up with him. Have to say the weekend was fun when I almost got to kill Dr Infernum and Tabitha when a succubus confused me (I get you next time ).

  13. How can claws be better than Dark/Spines? PvP wise. Its just impossible.

    I dissagree to this [ QUOTE ]
Claws: Easily the weakest Stalker primary, this set is entirely lethal damage, making it highly resisted. It's a DPS set in a burst damage Archetype, and relies on Focus for almost all of its mitigation potential. Focus provides a lot of knockdown, and is ranged, but it doesn't make the set good.

    [/ QUOTE ]

I believe claws is better than NB both pvp and pve wise, only for its fast attack rate and of course its range.

Ive got him up quite high and like spines so i dont wanna start over again with claws.

Anything you need for stalker advice and such contact @Zaldor
  15. Link .

I found this while searching at US forums. It has a discussion/comparison about stalker primaries. Some i agree and some i dissagree with.

This is the comparison according to Angry_Citizen

    [ QUOTE ]
Martial Arts: Provides a plethora of mez effects. Probably the third weakest primary for Stalkers - it does have decent damage, but it's quite resisted in the late game. Its mez effects don't tend to stack, and are often random, dependent on chance.

Dark Melee: Probably the best PvE Stalker primary; definitely contested by EM, though. Your damage is rarely resisted, but it's not tremendously high. Your level of damage mitigation borders on insanity, giving you pretty much unlimited time in which to whittle your opponent down. Its -tohit is generally noticeable only on defensive secondaries. Comes with a nice self heal if your secondary lacks one.

Energy Melee: Probably the second best PvE Stalker primary, but that's definitely debatable; blows the others out of the water in PvP. It's centred around tremendous burst damage, and stun effects. Its mitigation is largely dependent on chance, with the exception of Total Focus. The vast majority of this set's mitigation lies in Total Focus' stun, and its innate ability to make things dead, quick, fast and in a hurry. Its damage isn't as resisted as the other primaries, but it faces its share of resistances too. Note that this set is endurance efficient, meaning its damage is done at a lower cost than an equivalent level of damage in other primaries. However, it's still an endurance intensive primary, owing largely to Total Focus' 18 point end cost.

Spines: Probably the second weakest Stalker set, this set scrapes by largely because of Impale and its toxic DoT, the latter of which is both blessing and curse, as it is rarely resisted but screws your Placate's defensive capability. It comes with many AoE's, which aren't capable of critting on a consistent basis. Most of its damage is also lethal, and its animations are often long. I'd say this is one of the better Stalker PvP primaries, mostly due to its ranged potential. The set receives a reputation that is borrowed mostly from its Scrapper cousin (which is by far a better set), and is largely unwarranted from what I've seen.

Katana: Gives lots of lethal damage, but provides safety second only to Dark Melee. Bit less damage than MA, but you have the ability to consistently knock foes up and down. Animations are tremendously long, and overdue for "Bladesification", as I call it - essentially, the removal of its draw time in its attacks. Divine Avalanche makes the set, allowing you to slowly whittle your foes - for slowly it shall be. Its final attack is also incapable of critting consistently, which is very annoying.

    +Per IOs?

    Stealth + Stealth IO + Hide - 1189 Feet.

+ Normal inherent "Perception" range is 500 Feet.
    + 242.2 (Blaster/Tanker/Scrapper/Stalker/Brute, Recluse's Victory)
+ Perc IO add 100 Feet of perception

    500+100+242.2 = 842.2, no?

also 300 (Powerset self +Perception like Focussed Senses/Targetting Drone). Only devices could see a stalker. And even if he is at cap he can see him only at 10 feet which is not a big problem.

+++ Warburg: (Level 38, Cap of 1069 feet)

Tankers/Scrappers/Blasters/Stalkers/Brutes - Yes, Need Empowerment buff OR Perception IO.
    500 (Normal Base Perception)
    208.6 (Tanker/Scrapper/Blaster/Stalker/Brute Tactics @38)
300 (Powerset self +Perception like Focussed Senses/Targetting Drone)
