Yet again an issue dropping on champs TT day, a coincidence? A conspiracy to piggyback on our juggernaut of fun is more likely.
Then again, it might just be a Rangle Plot..... -

That is poppin fresh. Let's switch May with March mkay.

Quote:On the day we defeated Hamidon without gimmicks in a straight in your face fight - I became Incarnate. The game can hand that out now if they want to but when me and 149 of my friends kicked Hamidons *** after months of planning - that was hard.
The point of the thread's been 'whatevah' for days but to IH's one mention of the original hami raids and the feeling of epicness associated with the first server victories, there is little to no comparison to that and any of the first wins over any of the Itrials, and like some others I've been on the initial runs of all of them dating back to closed betas of old.
Aside for the errant 'Desdemona running suicidally to her death' wrinkles that come married to uncompleted content, there hasn't been another game event that required some servers months of planning and endless mass defeats, 'death fests' as they were known, during the many attempts to work out a winning strategy.
Of course within a week of garnering globs of the 50% pre-nerf HO's the experienced raiders were running the event on cruise.
So yes, to the snark '2009', it initially was 'uphill, in the snow', compared to anything that's come after it.
As to any auxiliary points in the thread, I honestly didn't read it.

I find his humor basically amusing with an occasional sprinkle of hilarious, though crashing a gala in character, if only he'd tried this before.

It'll likely be dropped next Tues on Champs tanker tuesday, as has oddly been the case for quite a few issues.
Here, this'll hold you over till then. -
Quote:Hulk is a textbook Brute. In fact, he's arguably the basis for the entire Brute AT.
The tanker community's suggestions were the basis for the brute, right down to the way the fury mechanic works.
And the Hulk would most accurately be considered a pre-GDR/ED tank with blaster level damage caps, filled completely with pre-nerf 50% HO's.
Wouldn't you like to play something like that, once in a while? =] -
This topic bugs my wife to no end when it comes up, glad I got the unique slide years ago but I wouldn't mind it becoming run of the mill if it meant she could have it as well. ;]

Excellent.
Welcome. -

It's anecdotal but my wife and I have occasionally run a saved mission for drops/goofing around over the last couple of years and noticed a definite dip in not only quantity but quality of drops following one of the updates late last year, and while not scientific she kept a rare loot ledger of sorts dating back a few seasons tracking what was earned after running this generous assignment from harvey maylor.

Quote:Bottom line, if made available through the Paragon store would you "purchase" either Radiation Armor or Radiation Melee?
I know I would!
Just a fun topic, discuss or aggro in as you see fit.
I thought I already jumped in this thread, but yea put me down in the buy column for rad melee. -

Quote:And this gem -tankertuesday.com- was pointed out to me tonight, I lost track of who it was that sent it to me or who set the site up, but it's quite a nice resource well done!Quote:Thanks indeed Hyper, I'll work on getting the TT schedule out there.
Yea that's an unexpected gem Hyper, I'm going to link to it in my sig and actually war boss had the idea last month of getting a thread stickied about the tt event the history/when/where etc maybe that and the site link could go into one thread that could be used for everything related it, I'm pretty sure Zwill would sticky it. -
Good times were had, I lost track of how many teams were formed, I think four full groups, all the festivities started as usual with Uman bringing the robots over for an ugly end at the hands of salivating tankers.
The wst tv team, one of two, and so many freaks, the gift that keeps on giving.
See everyone next week. :]

I dinged an elec/tw tank a few weeks back, presently working on an ice/tw.
I'll get back to ya. ;]
