Good luck with the new SG, but one thing that might help is which server you're.
-
Odd. When I bought it, it gave me the apply serial code at the end of the transaction, clicked the button, then on my main account and it connected.
-
Or grab the Mac code to get a months free play and the Valkyrie set including wings and a mission teleporter for 9.99

Horny... for justice!
*Humps crime into submission*
I miss not knowing where I'm going in zones. It made them so much bigger. -

RPing at Galaxy Girl when the choice of characters to RP with extended beyond "horny lesbians" (catgirls or otherwise).
[/ QUOTE ]
Probably in response to Dicky the Gigolo.
[/ QUOTE ]
Hehehe. Okay, so Shad evens out the testosterone quotient somewhat... except due to a smidgeon of boredom with the statue recently, I've not been taking him along.
[/ QUOTE ]
Over-exaggeration much? Plus it's not like your main is easy to talk to on a male character, as he's normally busy with women. There are plenty of women at GG who aren't 'horny lesbian alien catgirls' or whatever, Zortel, Cerridwyn, Penumbral Pulsar, Arachidamia, to name 4, well, 3 including one of my characters off the top of my head. -
I did actually see Mr Motivator on a GMTV advert on Wednesday, and suddenly remembered him giving warnings not to imitate the show Power Rangers after it came on.
-
I miss the begninings of Union RP. Prize, Fury/Hunter, Gabbleduck (though the excellent Lief is still about), Midnight Agent (The_Question, I wish he'd come back.), Synaesthetix, Shadowplay, Pyroclast, The Pest, Inverse/Darkie, Catch/frozenphoenix, so many others.
I miss Forumites chat. A time when you oculd log on at 10 am to conversation, and the frequent laugh and occassional drama.
But got plenty here still that I like! -
Welcome back, Mr Motiv- I mean, Marvellous!
-
Seems old faces return in droves, welcome back GA. And yes, I'm still around.

Problem with slash commands is that it'll activate the emote and change your costume right away. This is why when I'm doing costume changes on my character when roleplaying, I'll bring up the costumes window and select the costume and power manually.
Example: Rushmore. 18 year old teen boy transforms into patriotically clad, tall and hunky tanker. Open up costume window, hit Earth's Embrace. As it gets to the point where the two rock orbs start to appear, change costume into his hero outfit. -
Ryan blinks, then smiles. "Thanks, Amy. I wasn't going to force you to give up any details, I was just going to ask. I was also going to ask at how widely known your relationship to him is... I'd rather not have the public rallying around where you work, and I'm keen to look out for your safety, same as with all the students."

why UV isnt in the top ten but i know of them to be a good sg filled with great players...so its not all about positions.
[/ QUOTE ]
Too much RP, I'm betting. But thanks. :> -
Ryan rubbed at his chin for a moment, before taking a small can of soda out of the minifridge and turning it to face Amy. "It's about your dad, Amy. He had another broadcast earlier, issued attacks on several hero and villain groups. The Unity Vigil included."
With a sigh, he opened the can and took a sip. "Intoxicating gas attack over in the other tower, took out a few members, one had a severe reaction, and it hit BODICIA's puppy too, they're all being treated and will make a full recovery. Richard's place got hit by a EMP device, the Militia had a sonic device go off in their neighbourhood, and there's been other attacks too in the Isles." -

Amy pressed an ear to her comm unit and shrugged, pushing the large steel beam onto the crane, securing it and then waving for Bill, the crane operator to begin lifting it.
She quickly moved to Jeff the Foreman, "sorry boss...somethings come up, hero business..."
Jeff just sighed, "sure thing Amy...it's nearly finishing time as it is, don't mind you clocking off early.."
"Cheer sweetie..." Amy quickly changed out of her blue overalls and her hard hat into her locker before pounding off out of Faultline.
Not too long later she was stood outside Ryan's office and knocked on the door waiting patiently to be let in.

"Come in, Amy." Ryan called out from inside. He'd moved to sitting on one of the sofas in his office, with a red mini fridge on the coffee table and a small plate of assorted mini cakes.
"Take a seat, and I'm real sorry about calling you out of work." He apologised, smiling to her. The glasses were off, and he'd used the cybernetic implants to shut off the orange glow that usually came from his eyes. -
3pm, Ryan's Office.
Cindersnap looked out over the plaza, the Vigilants still on high alert outside. The young man drew a breath in, before activating his commslink. "Private Secure Channel, Encoding Seven. Amy Zon, could you please come to my office?"
Sitting back down, Cindersnap waited for his response as he logged into the Admin system, begining to pull up files on Amy's location throughout the day and any communications sent to her, his expression calm. -
"Warning: Chemcical Warfare Attack, Location, Unity Tower Lobby." BODICIA, the Unity Vigil's OverAI alerted all members as soon as the device went off. The containment shields had already sprung to life, but enough of the gas had already escaped as the force field sprung around the car. Outside, both the occupied towers went into a lockdown state, metal shutters closing over windows and doors, air filtration systems coming online, and more of a presence of the robotic Vigilants in the plaza, weapons armed as they searched around for clues.
Inside, the extractor fans had already begun working at drawing the gas up to be contained, examined and nullified, leaving those who were in the lobby at the time having recieved a minimal dose at best.
"I... urgh." Storm Sapphire sunk to his knees, retching with a hand over his mouth as nausea and a pounding headache overcome him.
From the elevators, an override came to open them, and Zortel, the leader of the group, stepped out in her powered armour.
"Status report!" She ordered, armoured fists clenched as she floated down the stairs.
"Analyzing now, the substance is an intoxicant, non-lethal, though powerful. Sending exposure ratio to you now." BODICIA replied. Her visor flickered as the display of the cars position and who took heaviest doses was displayed.
Glancing around, Zorielle saw some of her members slumped over, staggering around or curled up.
"This is not an isolated attack, I'm detecting several other situations all throughout Paragon, and reports of some in the Etolie Isles from our information network there."
"Johnson..." Zorielle snarled. "BODICIA, get the Vigilants to sweep the Plaza and all public areas of the tower. Twice. Once clear, shut us off lockdown. Vigilants, get those affected to the medical bays! Try and triangulate where he's broadcasting from. He'll bounce it, but it's worth a shot if he got overconfident. Oh, and BODICIA?"
"Yes, Zorielle?"
"I'll bring Noodles up to the medical bay." She said, picking up the Alsatian puppy that had been overcome with the gas. "If I recall my canine biology correctly, he'll be fine, we'll treat him with the others."
"... Noodles? ... Thank you, Zorielle." The AI sounded rather agitated. "I will send Avatar 84 up, and focus on finding Edward Johnson. And incarcerating him. About... eight hundred pounds of irradiated, coal ash concrete -should- do the trick."
----------------------------------------------
"Everyone, this is Ryan. No need to panic, the Tower's fine, just protecting us." Cindersnap announced over the commslinks. "I'll give you a news update as soon as, so till then, just lay back, chill and enjoy a break from lessons." -

I can second this method working, as I used it a couple of days ago after changing monitor and being able to go from 1280x960 res to 1280x1024.
As for the random slowdowns, not a clue, sorry. Maybe the American forums have a clue if they have a mac section?
US Post on Mac Frame Rate issues, just skimmed it but maybe there's something there?

On the time I was running the Atta mission in The Hollows and wanted to bring some people who may not have seen it due to Paper missions and such, I checked the list and found unteamed people before sending them this tell.
Hey, would you like a team for a level 15 mission facing Atta in The Hollows? Trolls, Heroic Difficulty.
That doesn't take long to type, provides information on the mission level, the difficulty, the mob type and the location. -
Technically FFM, like most Blizz games, it's one box that has the Mac Installer and PC installer on, and utilizes the same files from the MPQs.
... Could be an excuse for a brand new retail box, with Mac and PC installers, updated to issue 13 -
Nope, it's basically what would have happened if you leveled 1 to 50 without going to a trainer. Your Combat Level is 50, so you don't earn EXP and count as being over the level limit for arcs, IIRC
-
Perez Park, in the actual park bit south of the Steel Canyon Entrence is a good place to hunt them. So was Faultline before they changed it. Can find some in North East Boomtown I believe too. Hazard zone groups = easy badgehunting.
-
Which would be silly. Get Mac Boxes out, send to Apple Stores.
