None of my Maestro cards have ever had an issue number, just card number, expiry, start date and the 3 digit number on the back.

Yet another invasion event going on for a bit too long than it should with no discernable affect on the city?

His examples on roleplaying are rubbish, and there's no basic provision for walking in Champions Online from what I've heard and seen. Walking is something that goes very well with Roleplayers.

Such as not recognizing that there's Maestro cards starting in 2009, meaning I can't get the booster pack nor can I update my sub at the end of the month.

Just went to purchase the magic pack, and... well, when I went to pay with my Maestro card, I got all the way down to Start Date and... oh... it only has up to 2008 for a card start date.

I had to cancel my card recently and get a new one, so my card is now starting from April 2009. But there is no 2009 in the drop down menu.

Ergo, I can't buy the pack, and when time comes to renew in May, if this is still a problem...

As I posted over in the patch notes upon reading about this, it seems very silly and counter-productive to get those MA skits done, to spread the word, then effectively bar people from trying before they buy. Unless NC weren't confident with the MA and wanted people to try to get that moeny in their accounts.

Pretty sure that the only thing that they usually do is give forewarning.

On at lest one occasion the devs gave a frespec without forewarning (and on the day of an issue release iirc) and then gave a second a few days as people had succesfully made a case that they should have had some notice as was past practice.

So I think that they're giving warning now so that they can again apply the freespec at launch, but this time no-one can object.

I believe it was the Issue 4 or 5 release, where it was stated that there would be no freespec with the release of the issue, prompting me to delete a character that was really annoying to play and not close to the level of even being able to get a respec in game, and then a couple of days later they released a freespec for the game's aniversery.
