Where's 2009 on billing?

Just went to purchase the magic pack, and... well, when I went to pay with my Maestro card, I got all the way down to Start Date and... oh... it only has up to 2008 for a card start date.

I had to cancel my card recently and get a new one, so my card is now starting from April 2009. But there is no 2009 in the drop down menu.

Ergo, I can't buy the pack, and when time comes to renew in May, if this is still a problem...

I've passed this along.

That is obviously a bug but isn't it Maestro cards that use the issue number rather than the start date?

Switch cards used to have an issue number and an end date.

Maestro cards have a start date and an end date.

All online sites that accept these cards should be able to recognise the difference, and you will enter one or the other, not both. The one time I came across a site that insisted I include an issue number for a Maestro card, I just entered "1" and it worked fine.

The wisdom of Shadowe: Ghostraptor: The Shadowe is wise ...; FFM: Shadowe is no longer wise. ; Techbot_Alpha: Also, what Shadowe said. It seems he is still somewhat wise ; Bull Throttle: Shadowe was unwise in this instance...; Rock_Powerfist: in this instance Shadowe is wise.; Techbot_Alpha: Shadowe is very wise *nods*; Zortel: *Quotable line about Shadowe being wise goes here.*

My Maestro has issue # and end date, but no start date. I think it depends on your bank more than anything else.

It does. There is a current UK bank wide project on the go to get all this rationalised, but there's no definitive end date set as yet.
