Quote:I've been suggesting that to them two weeks in a row on Ustream, including today, and this time, I'm sure they saw it./Signed.
Use the Incarnate vendors in Ouroboros same way we do it with Empyrean>Threads into email.
Send Catalyst to our email so any other character can claim it.
BTW, they said on Ustream that they definitely are working on a way to make it happen (i.e., make Catalysts account bound). They are deciding right now how to do it, then they have to code it to make it happen.
So... my guess is look for it to happen maybe for I23 and not any time sooner. -
Yes. One really good arc that tells the story all the other level 5-10 arcs tell (without the repeats, the sweeps, and FedExes) that leads to a Perez Park Trial.

Quote:The story could be about joining a new SuperGroup since your last one fell apart: The Gritty Stars!I've been suggesting a revamp for Kings Row ever since Freedom started
It's got a lot of potential to be our "Gotham", and it'd be a great way to show newer players the darker side of the city early on - especially if they're more into gritty urban environments rather than the "Metropolis" setting of Atlas Park. -

Finally, an interviewer who knows what they're talking about and asks good questions!
And don't tell Black Pebble, but Matt gives up a future purchasable 'temp' power: Team Teleporter: "that will summon a flying transport to take you and your assembled team straight to your mission door."
I hope its a chariot of fire. -
Quote:You're farming da playahz!!!Yeah I just ran it again last night with a PUG team that acted almost as if they didn't even realize badges existed in this game. Can you beleive it?
Fortunately I just let them "Hulk Smash!" stuff while I clicked all the meteors for myself as much as anything. Luckily I was also able to talk them into defeating the two final AVs within about 15 seconds of each other so I was able to petition for another Brotherly Love badge.
It's always interesting to earn badges off of people who probably couldn't care less about them. -
Do a search on the Wiki for "Netherworld." It's basically a 'negative energy' dimension that is Hell. CoT demons come from there. Souls of the damned reside their. It is the source of negative energy for Dark Powers and demons and vampyrs.
Just like Christmas is Winter Holiday in CoH. Hell is the Netherworld. A religiously sanitized word despite the fact that demons and damned souls reside there (damned by whom?). -
Is the Shadow World a suburb of the Netherworld?

My Lore Seers were going bonkers when I spawned them preparing to rush Marauder. They seemed to be fighting each other over the same space, then one rushed off to charge Marauder and I luckily dismissed her in time before she agro'd the group.

Don't go in there... it's dark.

Funny. Just this week I went through and silenced all ambient hums and winds, and industrial and tech loops.
-
When you first enter the trial, there are Longbow/Arachnos NPCs standing around. One of them gives the meteor mission. When you go through their dialog, then the meteors become clicky. Click on the four of them as you run through... they're marked on the map.

That wouldn't be the first time the Devs were caught cut-and-pasting one arc into another to create the new arc and forgetting to completely update the new one.
-
No, the Lepper is immortal and untargettable. In Beta, it was bugged to draw aggro, but that's been fixed.
-
If he drank green beer and puked rainbows every time I got an extra drop... maybe.
But not the cost of a power set for a minor loot buff. -
The even simpler answer is:
Accuracy is multiplicative and ToHit is additive.
Your BaseToHitRoll versus an even level PvE foe is 75%.
- If you have 10% +ToHit, then your FinalToHitRoll will become 85% (75 + 10)%.
- But if you have 10% Accuracy, then your FinalToHitRoll will become 82.5% (75 + [10%*75])%.
-
As much as a power set? Did a Dev spend a thousand work-hours on this?
Yeah, pass for me, too.
Dear War Witch, you're in charge of Production now. Pricing of many Market items is seriously broken. There is an inconsistency which makes Paragon Studios look bad in my eyes. You and Brian seriously need to look into what the Market-team is doing and come up with a consistent pricing policy. I'm still waiting for at least one official feedback thread on pricing or how the Market is going -- what works for development of the game can work for the store. Maybe then you won't get surprised by war path threads over a particular price point like what's happening now. -ZM -
MisterD and Bentmind,
For your own sanity, you need to change your expectations else you will be forever angry. These things are never fixed in a manner of days, they are fixed in a manner of weeks and in some cases, months. It's the nature of an MMO. 'Fixing' things requires coding of software. That's not like gluing together a broken piece of wood. It's not 'easy'.
With MMOs you get two of three things: Lots of content; cheap; bug-free. If you prioritize bug-free then you either pony up $60 a month to ensure that happens, or, you settle for just one Issue a year.
If you want lots of cheap content, you settle for bugs. If they waited for all bugs to be fixed before releasing an issue, there would be only one issue a year.
That will not change. Ever. -
Quote:You can always do a screen cap from a Ustream chat he's on... like I did here.Anyone got a screenshot of Arbiter hawk...I need it for a hackjob photoshop (no...it wouldn't be rude).
Don't think I've ever seen anyone turn such a bright shade of red. -
They just tweeted: They know and are fixing it.
