  1. Random chance of Sally in Croatoa spawning as Sally Quantum if there is a Kheldian in the area. She still wouldn't do anything, but technically she would be a Quant just like technically she is a Monster.

Likewise, DE Emanators also having a random chance to spawn as Quants (Fungi Quantum for example). Like with Sally Quantum, they still would be harmless.

  4. I just thought Faraday Cage sounded cool was all. Plus, I wasn't quite sure what a Faraday cage actually did. Still, if it protects from electrical discharges/fields, then perhaps that would be a power that puts the target in a "only affecting self" status.

And for the record, I am a bit of a Tesla (the scientist, not the band...well I like their music) fan myself, especially since The Prestige.

    7) Tesla Field - AoE hold

    [/ QUOTE ]

Just for the sake of variety (since there is already a "Tesla" power in the proposed set), how about calling the AOE hold Faraday Cage?
  6. But aren't you stuck in Outbreak or Breakout and isolated from your new SG until you finish the tutorial?

How much is a medium or large inspiration worth ^_^.

    [/ QUOTE ]

'bout 90 seconds, if you have an SG with a friend and an open character slot.

    [/ QUOTE ]
LOL, it took me a few seconds to get this.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Uh. I seriously doubt anyone can get through either starting tutorial in only 90 seconds. If you skip the tutorial, you don't get those starting Tier 3 inspirations.

Hmmm, this explains the name of the cartography store in, I think, Nerva, called "Mapolis."

And, point of information, an Easter Egg is *hidden.* That's hidden hidden, not just hard to see. A true Easter Egg would be behind a door that's not supposed to open, or a graphic that's invisible unless you stand in the right spot, or using a power in a specific place that causes an NPC to say something in response, or an undocumented emote.

My first discovery was the Steadfast -KB, which sells at level 30 for 30M inf, about 400k/merit at 75 merits. However, I felt really bad taking advantage of this, because lower level ones sell for considerably less... and have less utility due to exemplaring rules. I only sold one before my conscience got the better of me.

    [/ QUOTE ]

How can a lower level one be less useful than a higher level one? According to the description on the Wiki:

    [ QUOTE ]
This enhancement functions as a set bonus and is always on, even if in a toggle that is turned off or even if the power is greyed out because of exemplaring. However, the bonus of this Special IO is turned off if one exemplars more then three levels below the level of the Special IO itself.

    [/ QUOTE ]

That means that lower is better. A level 10 SF -KB would give you the 4 points of protection exemped down as low as 7. A level 30 would only give you protection exemped down to 27.

For a graphics card I would recommend one attached to a new computer.

Judging by the specs posted, it sounds like the OP just needs more RAM and a video card. No need for a whole new computer.

Good workaround... *Wonders how your team mate didn't notice he had clicked the Pocket D power in the whole interruptible time period with the obvious glowing hands*....

    [/ QUOTE ]

Perhaps he thought he was using the base teleporter vet power (which has the same animation, and I believe brings you back to the zone you came from when you exit the base.)

In that case, he could very well have not noticed the error until after finding himself in the Tiki Lounge.
  12. [ QUOTE ]
I've counted 15 door knocks in a row before I got a Treat. While you may be able to click on doors faster, it's been overly balanced out by the apparent increase in the Trick to Treat ratio.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Would getting three Doctored Wounds (2 level 50 and 1 level 49) in a row from trick spawns be considered a treat?
  13. [ QUOTE ][*] Lack of Tier 3 Inspirations as Treats: We've also seen feedback that some players miss receiving Tier 3 inspirations as Treats. This change is intentional. In making changes to Trick or Treating from last year, it's possible to open doors and receive Treats at a faster rate. In order to keep Tier 3 inspirations something of value, we removed them from rewards to Treats.[/LIST]
    [/ QUOTE ]

This really isn't all that major an issue anyway. After all, solo and duo, tier 2 insps drop frequently from door spawns, and of course, there's always the salvage and recipe drops as well (which makes even a trick into a treat.)

And on larger teams, there's still a decent chance of getting a Tier 3 as a drop. In fact, since it seems only the one who clicks the door gets a chance at a treat, but one or more people on a team can get drops from any given monster, you have a better chance of getting a tier 3 this way than if they were available as treats.

Lastly, getting my Plants/Rad controller from 25 to 28 last night SKed on a big team in PI just from trick or treating was a considerable treat in itself. And when Stellar Jay had his Carrion Creepers up while having AM active and a couple stacked speed boosts, well... Let's just say, "The monsters weren't having fun, as the party had just begun. The spawns included wolfmen, vampires and...er...other stuff."

Construction Supervisor - Log off near the construction site in North Steel Canyon or Port Oakes

    [/ QUOTE ]

I think Buttcracker would be more appropriate for that one, with the badge text as: "Crack kills." Then again, there is no actual job called Buttcracker.

How about if you log out in the vicinity of Tart and Vixen in, I believe it was Port Oakes? Never mind. That would get the game an M rating.

Someone else mentioned Archeologist. I highly and enthusiastically second that one. Only instead of being for Cimerorra, make it for logging out by the Orenbega entrance there in the Hollows?

    <QR>

How to complain? That's done in Room 12A just down the corridor.

It's Being Hit on the Head lessons in here.

  19. I remember less than a year ago, the run AI was definitely broken and a lot of foes were fleeing the instant you attacked. This was especially prevalent with Freak Bosses in Brickstown and Crey's Folly. Sometimes they would flee even before the first shot was fired.
  20. The new costume pieces look fantastic. Now, how about letting the armored skirts be worn with a tail (and with the beastie legs) please?
