Breaking the board rules, much? -
I play therm rad, and my cycle is like this:
Buff
Debuff
Brutalize
There's no need for anything more complicated than that, nor is there any reason to wait for the rest of the team to do enough damage for you to get scourge out. You have some truely great blast attacks, so use them! The fastest way for you to scourge is to hit the enemies too! -
Choose whichever ones you feel like taking. It's the player, and not the powers, that determines whether you're good or not. A bad player will always be a bad player, power build or no.

Following on from the events in this thread, I decided to try and organize a big raid into the hero territory in Bloody Bay.
Date: Tuesday 1st November
Time: 7:30pm
Location: Arachnos Base in Bloody Bay
If Global is up by then, I'll create a global room so that we can communicate securely. If not, I guess we'll all have to use local or something....
If you're willing to come kill some do-gooder hero scum, post a reply below. If you're going to come, and you're bringing a team with you, then post how many you're bringing too.
Hope to see you there -
It was truely awesome. They honestly did NOT know what hit them. At the start they didn't even believe we were villains, until we killed them!

i like controllers they are not very powerfull at a low lvl but come lvl 20 they really are powerfull with there pets they are so cool
[/ QUOTE ]
1) Have you seen a mind controller? I can out-damage most blasters at level 12, and solo better than most scrappers at level 12 too.
2) Controllers get pets at level 32, not level 20. I certainly don't rely on my pets for damage (but then I'm a gravity/empathy...), and even if I did I wouldn't say it's the be-all and end-all of being a controller. -

What? bla bla bla , just for fun killing others while they are doing patroling or mishes? that's for cowards, yesterday i saw a damn guy hunting ppl that were going to their mishes and patroling, don't be silly and keep fighting gathered, let the solo players do their own mishes in Warburg, ¬¬

Welcome to PvP. Please buckle your seatbelt and keep your hands within the vehicle at all times.
To that person, he was doing nothing wrong. You know the risks of stepping into a PvP zone, why shouldn't he attack you???
[/ QUOTE ]
It's gotten to the point where I made a new bind on my PvP main yesterday:
"If you don't want to die, don't come into a PvP zone!"
I'm sick and tired of people whinging when they come into a PvP zone and get killed by people who are trying to PvP! You don't have to be in there. If you don't have the sense to bring a team into the zone, its your own fault you're getting killed!
It's akin to going into the arena and then complaining when you get killed! -
You seem to have missed out Wormhole and Crushing Field from your gravity powers. Crushing field is one of the most useful gravity powers imo, in that it allows you to get maximum containment on EVERY mob you come across without having to wait for your AoE to recharge (combo'd with a well slotted Fireball it's DEADLY). Wormhole is definitely one of the most fun powers I've ever taken, although it does need 6 slots on it to be truely effective (I have mine slotted 2 acc 2 range 2 recred, although I'm going to drop one of the recharges for a range). Wormhole is especially useful in PvP zones because it stops people from being able to run away from your team. I'd also be inclined to replace one of your hold durations on gravity distortion with an accuracy.
Drop the slots on health; you don't need them, you have transfusion. Chuck them on lift instead, with 2 damages in them.
You definitely don't need the endred in Hover, because it really doesn't suck much end anyway. I barely notice it when I'm fighting.
Hope this has helped -
<3 wormhole. NOBODY escapes my team in warburg now, unless they start running while I'm not paying attention
-
Augh! If you want RP, you've come to the wrong server. Union is where most, if not all of the roleplayers hang out.

Of course I'm no troller, but aren't lvl 32 Pets meant to make Controllers much more useful, and make them pretty good at soloing?
[/ QUOTE ]
No. I'm a gravity/* and sometimes I forget to summon my pet, or forget that I have it summoned. I don't rely on it at all. It's nice that it's there, and I wouldn't respec it out, but it's just an extra bonus on top of the rest of my powers rather than the be-all and end-all of my build. -
I dropped propel from my build, because I use the arena a lot and it was getting me killed. The activation time is way too big to be viable in any kind of situation where attacks HAVE to be fast.

Agony Mages are uber in gladiator, closely followed by Crey Power Tanks.

We'll get him in the box, emp, don't you worry -
1) Back up your existing CoH folder somewhere else (i put mine on my other hard drive, but you could just copy it to a folder called CoHbackup or something)
2) Open your CoV beta folder and copy the ENTIRE contents of the folder into your CoH installatioin
3) Delete the two files called CoH.checksum and CoHtest.checksum
4) Run the updater and wait
That simple enough?
Edit: Empath, you chimp faced person who types faster than me! -
Figured I'd just use the first post to exclaim my love of gravity control! Can't get enough o' that wormhole....
-
I copied my CoV beta into my CoH folder and then I only had to download 104MB instead of 1.5GB I was just running around Warburg with my SG, so it all works fine
