    Taking a break.

I hear the Florida west coast is a nice place to take a break, just bring your sunblock.

If you like action games try Battlefield Heroes, it's fun as heck.

Last post in the thread, but that's freaky. Hats off Mr. Cameron.

"LOS ANGELES, Jan 24 (Reuters) - "Titanic" just hit an iceberg named "Avatar."
James Cameron's sci-fi spectacular replaced his maritime melodrama as the biggest international release of all time during the weekend and is on the verge of claiming its worldwide crown, which also includes North American receipts, distributor 20th Century Fox said on Sunday.
The News Corp (NWSA.O)-owned studio said "Avatar" has sold $1.841 billion worth of tickets worldwide during its unbroken six-week reign, and was a day or so away from surpassing the seemingly insurmountable $1.843 billion racked up by "Titanic" in 1997-1998."
  5. So no one wanted the 50 merits the old way after the nuke didn't work, that's busted. Ah well sure it was fun.

  12. Blast from the past (via PDF, it's 2 saved web pages, safe)

Me and my wife -Meowtch in the game- very unexpectedly met via this silly little pixel hero world, waayy back in 05, and spent just about a year of in depth conversations and very upfront information sharing, before we met, and some months later got married.

I'll let my wife's original post on the happy topic fill in the rest (for any interested):

Hello everyone! We wanted to share something...

Anyone who's been wondering about what AceMace or Meowtch have been up to...well I'm finally going to spill the beans...

We had been very interested in each other for some time and then decided to quit the game together to spend that time with one another. Yes, over the internet to start as he's in Florida and I'm in New Jersey but that hasn't stopped us from enjoying one another--we've been reading (Angels & Demons, DaVinci Code & The Broker), watching movies, playing online card games & talking and talking and talking, of course!

Brett has been spending his time working on his property (beautification project) as well as the addition and getting it all ready...oh and his RL job too...

After my company downsized I started working in the Hotel/Casino Industry in Atlantic City again, leaving the world of claims behind...and making moving plans...

We've met in person and have been spending all of our spare time together-via the wonderful world of electronics for now-and are ready to let everyone in on our secret, well anyone who may be interested in knowing what we've been up to!

He will be headed up my way in mid-July to help move me down to Florida and we plan on being married in early August!!!! (Titano...so right you were, so very right...)

He's going to attempt to re-activate his account to pop in and say hello to everyone but we wanted to share this with all of you no matter what...we may not be playing anymore but we'll never forget the time spent in-game with wonderful people!!

For any of you who spent time with us and had a feeling...or even just blatantly saw right through our secrecy (and I know you all know who you are)...we wanted to say thank you for your discretion. It enabled us to spend time together in-game until we were ready to take it out-of-game without worrying about answering questions or people making judgments.

The ceremony is going to be very small, just immediate family, but we'll post some pics afterwards for everyone who's interested to see!

-edit, looking at the pdf reminds me why Champion became known as the 'community server' back in the day. =T

    "wha?" wasn't the reaction.

"UPDATE 1-'Avatar' passes $1 billion at world box office

    * Already fourth-biggest movie of all time * Poised to beat "Dark Knight" in North America
(updates with worldwide sales, more films in North America)
LOS ANGELES, Jan 3 (Reuters) - "Avatar" sped past the $1 billion mark at the worldwide box office after three weekends in release, making it the fourth-biggest movie of all time, according to data released on Sunday.
James Cameron's 3-D sci-fi epic earned $1.02 billion, powered by sales of $202 million during the New Year holiday weekend, distributor 20th Century Fox said.
The only movies ahead of it are Cameron's "Titanic" ($1.8 billion), "The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King" ($1.12 billion), and "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest" ($1.07 billion).
North American moviegoers chipped in $68.3 million, setting a record for a film in its third weekend. The old mark of $45 million was set by "Spider-Man" in 2002.
After 17 days in cinemas across the United States and Canada, "Avatar" has earned $352.1 million, placing it at No. 15 among all movies in terms of ticket sales.
Fox, a unit of News Corp. (NWSA.O), forecast the film would end up in the $500 million range in the North American market.
Cameron's 1997 drama "Titanic," the biggest film of all time before accounting for inflation, earned $601 million, followed by 2008's "The Dark Knight" with $533 million. "Star Wars" currently holds the No. 3 berth with $461 million.
"This is like a freight train out of control," said Fox distribution executive Bert Livingston. "It just keeps on going."
Even "Titanic" could be threatened. When ticket-price inflation is included, that film had earned $241 million after 17 days, according to tracking firm Box Office Mojo.
    FOREIGN SALES AT $670 MILLION
The international total for "Avatar" stands at $670.2 million. The film is playing virtually everywhere. It opened in China on Saturday, and will reach Italy -- its final market -- on Jan. 15."

Guess that answers that, for one damn rich director.

I wouldn't know since I've hardly touched the game in months aside for TT's.

If an off topic falls in the channel and there's no one to read it, what time will train B catch up to train A?
