Did Valkyrie get a new weapon? I could have sworn she had a battle axe before.

I just wanted to know how folks feel about the options in custom stone/lava costumes? Somehow, to me, they all look like something between pumicite and poo. There seems to be no way to create the same craggy edged look of rock and lava seems to look either reddish-pink to yellowy-orange. I really want to make a magma-type character, but the options just make him seem....yucky.

See I would love to see Rularuu as a Galactus-type threat where the Devs coordinate server-wide events to correspond to his invasion so that thez can get as many players involved as possible. This would be like the first Rikti invasion in scale with even the Surviving 8 getting involved as NPCs.

Hey BaBs can we haz a two-handed option for Mace attacks?

Quote:...once defeated, you go to an Arachnos prison where you have to escape and fight you way out for no xp.New Rogue Isles system; Civilians dont get targetted with tab (Like Vault doors atm) but can be selected AND attacked.
Killing NPCs results in an Arachnos hit squad being sent after you, wanted for murder (read the background, Recluse does actually enforce the laws. Why do you think the Goldbrickers are always getting nabbed?)
Beating up the hit squad will result in more being sent, upgrading from, say, a few Wolf spiders to a Huntsman, his squad and some robotic back-up, moving steadily through to a whole Crab spider assault team, then a Bane Commando neutralisation unit, to the point of them sending in a Tarantula squadron, and then a Night Widow kill-team.
Etc, etc. Only targetted NPCs would be a trigger, not those caught in AoE. (Standard code rant?)

Well the Punisher did manage to kill the whole Marvel Universe

I have always wanted a way to map my mission types to suit my Origin.

I like the "click the plaque" idea. Another could be exiting the building/cave/warehouse would lead to a small open area still in the mish where a crowd has gathered to applaud your efforts (or even boo your failure).

Quote:I believe OSA is the live testing. It's clear the power combining (at least as done with OSA) is buggy and overall unreliable. It's a great idea and should be further explored, but I would not wish the mechanic on anyone as it currently is.
Also, I'm not entirely sure what you're asking for so I'll give examples of what I think you asking and you can kinda pick.
A) Player A uses Stone Prison on Enemy 1. Player B uses Stone Prison on Enemy 1 after Player A has. The 2x Stone Prisons combine and Immob3 is activated on Enemy 1.
B) Player A uses Stone Prison on Enemy 1. Player B uses Fire Cages on Enemy 1 after Player A uses Stone Prison. Stone Prison and Fire Cages combine and Immob3 is activated on Enemy 1.
Either one poses a whole lot of problems but I'd just like to know which page we're on.
B - And yes it does pose problems in implimentation, but would still be cool imo. -
I still think that we could push the boundary of the term "villainy" a bit further in CoV especially since Mr. " I want my 4-year-old to be able to play" Statesman is gone. Like Sam Tow always says, I don't want the dumb-down murderer type of villainy, but the "Millions will Die" type of villainy. Someone like Doom has killed before, but considers it beneath him to get his hands dirty.

Quote:The middle ground for mez effects was always either play a melee character or team. Melee characters needed a buff to their mag protection, but the old system was pretty good. If you didn't have protection native to your character, bring breakfrees or team.
So the middle ground is the same as it is now? -

What I was thinking was that if immob 2 is applied to the same target as immob 2, there is a chance that it will trigger immob 3 which is a new attack all together. Im no coder and I have seen first-hand how troublesome Oilslick can be, but I would suggest starting with only a few pairs of attacks for live testing and then go from there.

I always thought we could rob from Peter to pay Paul here. If those ATs with little to no mez resistance could sacrifice some damage or control to temporarily boost mez resistance, I would think that would be fair. Considering some sets use mez as their bread and butter, it wouldnt seem fair to be able to completly negate their primary, but this gives them and you a fighting chance.

This has been suggested before in some form (probably by me. I cant remember). The idea is that certain powers have a chance to combine for a third animation type and soe added effects (yeah, I know MUA). For example, if a fire immob and a stone immob roll a chance to combine, the become a hold with a lava animation (ala Magma Lords) or say a stormy creates a tornado and that pet crosses a burn patch, there may be a chance that it becomes a fire tornado that causes added fire damage. Now the chances aren't that high, because not only would they be a sight to see, but also be a pretty powerful effect.

Ya know, I am no PvPer, but I wouln't be against some form of triggered PvP. With GR coming out and there being fallen heroes and reformed villains running around, I would think things like attacking citizens or robbing banks would be something that would trigger a "timed" pvp event where the offender would have to perform some act before getting caught.

I have been rescuing the Non-Powered-Citizens of of Paragon for a few years now and I think it's time they got a makeover. Now I know we of the hero populous are the pinnacle of physical perfection, but I think those we rescue should be more than stick figures in "mostly" tattered cloths and bad makeup. Who wouldnt want to rescue a beauty in distress?

I like how Gravity powers draw in object around them (especially with PhysX running), but I though it would be cool if those powers would bend light as well like so;
I think particularly wormhole would look amazing if it was similar to the above. -
I was thinking about Unstable Molecules used in costumes in Marvel and I thought it would be cool if our costumes reacted to the powers we used. Nothing too indepth, but how about if certain colors and patterns changed when we used our powers? An example of what I mean is;
The rings in his costume would expand and oscillate as his energy built up in some cases almost trning the whole thing white.
