i know its been asked before but time has passed and opinions change as u pvp more so....

1.what wud be ur ideal pvp pentad team

2.are there any ATs u wud change facing a specific team (facing a bubbler u may want a kin instead of something?)

if u were on a pentad team facing a team with an ice or earth controller would u rather ur defender was empathy or kinetics? (assuming ur controller is neither)

May I also suggest that for anyone wishing for advice on pvp builds to show up, chat to people, and participate. There will be many experienced pvpers about, and that, coupled with practise, beats the hell out of most forum notes.

No, please hit us as hard as you can. The only way you can learn is by losing, and then watching the demo files back and looking at what you did wrong. We've cottened on to a few things that we noticed you doing and so we're trying to implement them. All you did by beating us was make us want to work harder.

Thanks you. What you say is quite pleasant to read when in the vigilance board there is a sniveling thread that says we are skillless and only win thanks to our builds.
Thanks you for your congratulations, we work pretty hard to get a efficient team play. I am honored to have faced such valuable opponents who were able to notice that.

Anyway, yesterday evening we fought against very good players but I would have made other team built. (As far as I have seen going in arena without tanker is suicide, by example).

Nevertheless I hope we can settle other matches.
We did not knew you and so yesterday we played with no restraint. Next time, if you wish so we will not hit that hard.
Our point is not to win by any means or to crush our opponents but to have fun enjoying this game.

theres another thread in pvp section altho union were an understrength team last night

looks pretty good to me, almost same build as mine, personally i'd keep hot feet for both pvp and pve, in pve with fulcrum and containment it does a lot of dmg

i guess i cud show up.... lol, sorry i messed things up last night, test server said my account time had ran out even tho i could use the other servers....ggrrrr.

both my tanks are also pvp spec if needed but wud prefer to use shaman

LNM-LU vs Art of war ended 203 to 10.

Defiants Paragon defenders got their heads smashed in by the wellplaying french as well. I dont have the results though

First match was something like 60-70 to 4 in favour of the french. The fight was set in the cave map which doesnt really help our team much. We dont use storm/rad/dark or other AoE effects that are very, very good in such small maps.

Second fight against the other french team was about 50 to 8 Iirc. We simple got out played by a better team.

PD's Vs. Union team (not art of war) 50 to 10 (about I still dont have the correct numbers) in favour of the PD's.

Basicly the french are miles away from the english servers when it comes to PvP. They were much better at assisting with kills. They were much better at keeping every player buffed. Basicly they were better in almost every way.

Any way it was fun and I personaly learned a lot. This isnt the last time I will go to the test server for a nights fun.

i'm sorry to disagree but the rare empath that doesn't attack is an excellent team player, if the empath attacks usually someone dies or goes without a buff...or if an empath fires a nuke how can they look after the team with no end? IMO empathy is the purely team support build and should always be buffing or healing the team, not attacking

uch, I hate people that think empaths cant attack!
I for one attack more or less all the time, and I rarely get any deaths in my teams nor do I EVER forget to buff anybody.
I chose my secondaries for a reason, and yes, there are times when my end wont allow me to attack, or I have to concentrate more on healing duties, but I'd rather not sit in a mission like a leech to be honest.
It makes me sick to the core when I see comments like yours >_>

night was talking about support pvp builds so i wud agree that secondary doesnt matter that much, dont no about sonic but with empathy and kinetics in support roles (as kinetics can be used as an attacking role as well) there is so much to do u really dont have time to attack

oh ok my bad misunderstood u, yeah i think its very overpowered and am waiting for the accuracy check nerf to appear

for pvp i would go either energy or stone primary, then either invul or energy secondary. did agree that fire would be good until i actually made a fire tank for the extra BU and got owned by storm trollers therefore either invul for knockback resistance or energy for the simple fact of how fast toggles go back on if detoggled and no stopping for 2seconds to do a pose, u can run and activate toggles at the same time plus IMO overload is a lot more worthwile than unstoppable. and res to TP foe is always nice

lol little rough? clearly you haven't fought a good player in the arena, takes people out of the game completely, a must have if u have access to it

sadly most of the people in the pvp zones shouting abuse are mostly making up for the fact they are useless at pvp. had a big rumble against the french the other night in the arena and all went great, not a single bad word said. in fact most people were complementing each other. as i said i think this was due to the fact that we know how to pvp and have nothing to make up for.
