I thought I made it clear that I heard about the incident second hand and not a fact. That it all may have been coincidence and the ban was for something else. If it wasn't clear, I apologize.
My post wasn't intended to stir up trouble. Just wanted people to know their actions may or may not have consequences and mind their P's and Q's. Some people are very passionate about the game and already hurt by its closure. To lose their account in the final days would be twisting the blade.
And honestly any of us could be banned whatever reason strikes their fancy and they would be in their right to do it because of the EULA. Like cake more than pie? Welcome to Bannedville, population: you. -

According to a poster from the SaveCoH facebook group, they were banned from the game for what NCSoft deemed "negative" commentary on the English facebook page.
Again, take this as rumor, NOT fact. The suspension may be unrelated to the comment, but do be careful. -
I believe TSW put out a bunch of costumes, an event and a couple of neat missions for halloween. Their faction competition is kind of stupid though since Templars far outnumber the other two groups.

PSO started their halloween event a few days ago. Not too great since costumes are obtained at random through microtransaction but the decor and halloween rappies give me warm fuzzy feelings from my first halloween in PSU.

The whole "We know something you don't know but we won't say" really does not help the article's credibility.
But... credible or not, bad press is bad press and bruises NCSoft's image a little more. As underhanded as it is, people pay more attention to the negative things. -
The tutorial was amusing but the usual F2P woes and having your character predetermined was off-putting.
I read that you can change all that when you hit level 8. I don't see why they couldn't let you create a character and pick a side from the start.
Looks like there's some neat costume pieces, pets and weapons (that mini catwoman companion is ADORABLE) but as with any other F2P game, pay up if you want the cool stuff. -

I would play an emulaor.
I am wondering what people's reasons are for playing or not playing an emulator. Is it a moral reason? Paranoia?
My reason is because I can make my own fun through the costume creator and roleplaying, so even if an emulator is buggy and missions are lacking, there's still plenty to do. I'm not afraid of legal repercussions because its highly unlikely to happen. Should the original game be revived, I'd go back in a heartbeat. If the real thing exists, what need is there for the emulator after all? -
