Beyond the Grave: Character action figures?

Hello everyone, I keep this short. I loved this game, ever since I started playing in 2006. I returned several months ago after learning it was free to play (and yet I threw cash at this game). I'd really love a permanent reminder of my time in City of Heroes, a keepsake.

So, does anyone know if it is possible to order custom action figures of your characters? I thought I saw something about it long ago, but I can't even remember if it was for this game or not. I am hoping to have a couple made of the different costumes used my my main, Sapiens.

Thanks for any help. I really wish I had a 3D printer right now...

I don't think there's anything like WoW and their Figureprints service (whice are unfortunately statues, not action figures) There was a thread about some very rough statues someone managed to make with a 3D printer, I think it was said that the way the models are make it very hard to do unless you have the knowledge in doing 3D models.

This is the thread: http://boards.cityofheroes.com/showthread.php?t=296033

But I don't think it'd be too difficult to make your own using an existing action figure as the base. I plan to eventually. A little practice in painting fine details or sculpting would be the tough part I imagine.

There was someone on here that posted pictures of her custom ball-jointed dolls made to look like Ghost Widow and their own characters. Those dolls are hella expensive though. (my bad, that was in a thread on the Titan forums but there was another person who had their character as a doll http://boards.cityofheroes.com/showp...9&postcount=10 I have yet to find that Titan post though...)

I still have these.
Indy HeroClix: City of Villains (Figures obtained by buying the City of Villains computer game or through tournaments. The City Of Villains Deluxe Edition contained all 7 figures) - Figures included: Statesman, Manticore, Positron, Black Scorpion, Captain Mako, Ghost Widow (absent from many sets due to an error) and Lord Recluse.

There are 'generic hero' type stores online that will let you build from scratch, but beyond that, customising existing figures are the way to go. I've built five myself, including a War Witch for the actual War Witch, Melissa Bianco.

Best thing you can do, really. Or ask a pro customiser to do it for you.

Anyone have links to a place online that can make a custom figure (or statue) of a CoH hero?

This guy claims to offer that very service. I have not patronized him or researched his reputation. So this is just information, not an endorsement. I've recently taken up the hobby and plan to make my own, so you are not alone in this!

When I went to that site, my antivirus proggy picked up and deleted a malicious file. Anyone else get the alert?

Save for the female ones, those are pretty nice.
