Time. Work for Back Alley Brawler. Time is used to make new animations, recolorings and whatnot. Pool powers is a whole nother animal compared to powersets if i remember correctly. I think its on BAB's to do list last i checked. But yea, its gonna take time.
-
Seeing a character's sold/bought bids at the character select screen would be nice as well. (As long as this doesnt cause lag or anything)
-
The patient side of me tells me to be patient, and wait, and that I can do, as much as I hate the fact that we haven't gotten any actual good info since herocon or w/e.
No news for i17 either, and i really hope its not just some small issue like 15.
Honestly, the impatient side of me finds it hard to log on due to no new stuff to do and the fact that new info is coming out slower than a slug.
Starting to look like no q1 release for GR. -
The reason I recommend slotting creepers with damage procs is it will be doing buttloads of damage and more than some generic slotting of it ever will, and with only minor accuracy and recharge, it is perma and will hit frequently enough. Every time a creeper patch pops up, every time it pulses, every time every single creeper attacks, one of those procs has the chance to go off. Thats a HUGE source of your plant/thorns AoE dmg. I know this from experience. Combined with seeds and everything they'll rip mobs to shreds.
-
Couple things:
From your most recent build;
Get rid of impale and put all the apocs in thorny darts, as well as an additional dmg proc for a really high DPS fast low end costing attack, and is decent for burst as well. (Impale quite frankly, has too slow an animation for my tastes and it just is nothing compared to a utilized Thorny Darts)
-Get some achilles heel procs in there somewhere, if nothing else give it to ur flytrap who has aoe or better yet give him a dmg proc, and with that much recharge, all u should slot in him is the 4 expedient reinforcements with dmg attributes (leaving room for 2 procs)
-If you could squeeze in 1 more slot for seeds u could get all 6 coercive persuasion for an extra 5% ranged def
-Disruptor Blast sucks IMO, fling thorns, ripper, fly trap, creepers and seeded enemies should be enough AoE carnage if you know what your doing.
-With Dom and zephyr u wont need the karma -kb
-If your getting scorp u should also get poisonous ray for the -res
-Dmg procs are good especially in the right powers
-Winter IO so u lose perma dom less
Anyways, heres an example of improvements:

2 transfers on sunday, checked monday nope,
and nope for today as well. Tried again earlier to. Its defenitely not working. -
Quote:Or if you're really lazy like me, setting all movement keys to toggle on Super Jump, and having attack keys toggle on Combat Jumping and setting the attack to auto :P/bind e "powexecname Super Jump$$powexecname Combat Jumping"
Swapping back and forth has become second nature.
(Note this is not very good on characters that like to have powers like domination/hasten on auto and if you have redraw this will probably annoy you) -
Really minor mostly, but if I wanted to get nitty gritty, I'd change a couple things around. Active defense really only needs 1 rech IO you could probably sell those membranes and maybe use that cash for something else. Sacrificed a little bit of acc for more HP, (OwtS will put you at the HP cap now) Tough is slotted up for a bit more added resist but thats just what I'd do.
Take it for what you will.
(Oh and btw not using CJ seems like a nasty habit to me >_>, you really should use it just cuz your not 100% soft capped unless u do use it or have PF helpin)

Until the day that Ninja Run and Prestige powers can be slotted with zephyr's and winter gift (aka never), travel powers will always be useful for something.

Quote:Well when they announced Going Rogue they teased us of a "system" so to speak where our 50s can get even stronger, something more for lvl 50s to do basically."...focus on the critically important End Game system..." This blurb is completely new info to me. Does anyone have any additional info on what this end game system is. Actually I'm a tad fuzzy on exactly what "end game system" means in the first place, feel free to educate me on that.
Alot of people have speculated it may be something along the lines of a pseudo-lvl 60 goal (without actually increasing the lvl cap), examples such as special story arcs, universal enhancement slots, etc
I'm guessing this is related to that, more stuff for 50s to do is one thing i've been waiting for. I guess thats what Positron's main focus is now. We defenitely could use some more actual content. MA really needs some improvements because right now it's not the kind of sustaining content the game needs. -
yea thats pretty much the best a kat/wp can get with current IOs, mine has a build similiar, the only real alternation could be taking tactics or assault insteada lotus drops/FS for harder to kill targets/AVs/PvP, keeping the AoEs for a general pve/farming build etc
and if you got the $$$, you could also up your pwnage by getting achilles + gladiator's -res proc for -40% res potential -
They should make that an arena map, maybe even an AE Map
-
-
Between GR's ultra mode, animated hair and tails, and the still unresolved / poorly managed memory issues of CoH I'd predict FPS drops across the board for even the mightiest of computers.
-
Do they give u your enhancements back if ur base gets deleted? I mean i'd be pissed if i had a few of these sitting in a base and it got corrupted, but do they really dabble in the specifics for cases like that? How do they know your not just lying or something?
-
Thats why i hate holidays or company-off time of any form, any time of the year. Its just another excuse for that long awaited new computer part to not arrive in the mail (or to delay mah shipping by x days), for a place you need to go to being closed, for no new info released by x company including game announcements. I wish every company in the world had some people working 100% of the time (and not just the guys keeping the servers up or w/e) >_>
Anyways, pet peeve aside, Im guessing we're getting close to another crum of info now that the holiday crap is over with. -
Stuff I want anyway...
Renameable Controller/Dom pets... srsly
Revamped Base builder / and implement tools like this to make MA maps
More power slots
Purple sets for healing/def buff/debuff/resist/tohit buff/debuff/fear/end mod
Destructable items in walls/floors/regular decorations in buildings and in missions (and outdoor ones as well)
Spear/polearm set of some kind (with more than just lethal dmg)
Maybe 1 more suit of medieval armor, similiar to the valk armor but more classic/realistic, as well as scabbards/quivers, new battle walk animations with weapons, holding weapons out while standing still and never needing to redraw if user so wishes, etc
Actual skeletal undead costume parts made of bones that have transparency (although i pmed Jay about this and he said the current system couldn't support that or something, not rly 100% sure he understood the question i was asking though) I still want mah skeletal pieces. -
Quote:If they take out Ultra-Mode from the (im guessing 50 buck expansion) and just give it as part of i17, or even delay it for 6 months, I hope the rest of GR is pretty goodyes and no.
Yes. The issues have been fixed on the back-end on the current graphics engine.
No, those updates have yet to be pushed out to game client.
Reportedly these fixes will arrive with the Ultra-Mode updates. Unfortunantly, we don't know when Ultra-Mode will arrive. I recall somebody commenting in the gigantic Post Going Rogue Information Here thread that Ultra-Mode could arrive separately of Going Rogue.
There is also the possibility that if Ultra-Mode is held off to be launched in the free issue accompanying Going Rogue, that the current engine fixes will be published before hand.
Either way, when Going Rogue arrives, you should have the exact same visual image reguardless of whether or not you are running Intel, S3 Chrome, Nvidia, ATi, and presumably even XGI graphics. (Though really, is ANYBODY using a Volari?) -
Did they ever fix the issue ATI had with FSAA and CoH yet by any chance?
-
Literally the only problem i've ran into so far is the windows 7 64 bit nvidia CoH crash, which I recently fixed by just switching to an older driver (until/if the crashes get fixed.)
Oh, and of course theres alot more permission crap you may need to deal with, just run everything as administrator and it'll shut up. -
I'm more worried about the strains the 64bit will have on 3 gigs of ram, doesnt 64bit by itself take up near 2gigs and then u want at least another gig or 2 for it to run smoothly for most games/apps? Just wondering if 32 bit would be the better choice just so i have more ram for games/apps (the vid card borrows a little bit of memory as is).
-
Old m1210 im gonna upgrade to win 7, it has 3gb of ram,
With that amount of ram im wondering if 64bit is even worth it, if i'd be better off with 32 bit. (Likely the last upgrade ill make for this laptop)
Just got 64bit for my desktop, but thats with 8gigs of ram and a quad core,
the poor little laptop is nothing in comparison. -
Yea see thats the thing, this is my dom's current live build and it does steamroll through alot of things, im just numbercrunching for the hell of it and trying to maximize it even more if possible.
My main reason for going medicine was mainly just making the build self sustainable without resorting to playing with others or using insps. Yes, I use inspirations but I like my build to be completely sustainable without em. (Don't have a green, use aid self, right back into battle, etc. Also like healing pets as well)
Mu mastery I like for the pet's heals yes, but alot of ppl around here seem to underestimate its damage, that combined with the procs from my fly trap and of course my own dmg, the orange numbers fly. I use powersink for emergencies mostly (again, would like to be able to sustain in worst case scenarios without insps) but also for surge of power crashes as well. As soon as it crashes, i use power sink in an area around as many enemies as possible, boom end's back up to keep fighting (dom's cycle does not always refresh when you need it) and of course if IOs are giving me def, I'd like my shield toggle to give me res (its quite good in pvp to), and no 3% unique IOs without a res power.
I'm just trying to find the perfect balance between the number crunching and the powers I picked, because as is; the build is pretty close to "perfect" for me, I just got the nagging feeling theres more I can do number wise.
