PvP IO for sale

Alrighty, not quite sure how this works, but here goes.

I recently got a level 50 recipe for a Gladiator's Armor: Teleportation Protection, +Def(All). I know this thing costs a lot, and I have no use for it. Rather than trying to raise the money to sell it, I thought I'd let everyone here know that I was interested in selling it.

This is villain side on the Virtue server so either hit me up with a PM here or contact me in game as @Fire Wyrm with your offer.

Allegedly, the thing is going for 4 billion or more, from the rumors bouncing around the Market forum.

You can lock away 2 billion at a time by making fake bids at Wents, in case you didn't know, for things like level 51 recipes. So it's gotta be a series of transactions with pauses in between while you go to the market and store /get your money. . .

I've never dealt in quantities quite that big. Enjoy!

Wait a week. People are starting to sell this enhancement off the market and the current going rate is 3.8 billion. Once more people get wind of this the rate will go up even more. I'm guessing it'll be 6 billion by this time next week.

First of all, grats. You're the among the first winners of the Gladiator lottery. Fortunately, I have neither a need for this particular IO or (unfortunately) the funds redside to acquire it. However, I'm sure you'll get a buyer. I've also noticed that the demand is far stronger blue side.

I gave one away the other day. I dont need it for pvp and am not built from the same greed mold around here. Was a CC gift.

I sooo should have told the GM I had more than one of these in base storage the time my base was deleted...

Do they give u your enhancements back if ur base gets deleted? I mean i'd be pissed if i had a few of these sitting in a base and it got corrupted, but do they really dabble in the specifics for cases like that? How do they know your not just lying or something?

The better (safer) way to deal in something that costs over the inf cap is to find a good metric in a different form of good. For instance, if people can agree that, say, a piece of hecatombs go anywhere between 200-300 mil, make the average price 250 mil and you could sell it for 2 bil + 20 hecatombs.


Then again, how the hell do you get 20 hecatombs in this game.

*This idea came from when I used to play GW, the stable item was ectos, and trading past the money cap was easy.

Just a heads up. I'm in the midst of trying to raise the money to sell this thing on the Black Market, so to anyone who's interested, you better get it before I sell it.

Sold it for about 1.8 bil on the market. Not as much as I was hoping, but I can dig it.
