  1. Retro Sci Fi is here, and costume slots are still on sale (although at 25% off instead of last week's 35% off).

The Beam Rifle power set is also on sale, how's everyone's experience with it? I may just pick it up.
  2. Here's mine

Click on thumbnails for full size versions.

  3. I actually got both.

Assault for when I need my damage output to increase and melee mostly for the taunt aura.
  4. I'm pretty sure I can be there to help. However, if Longbow Lore are necessary, I can only bring my PB (used on MP's successful runs).

If you rather have more debuff, I can bring my Ill/Rad that has everything except Longbow (she has Warworks instead).

    @Alpha XBS
    Madame Distress - Ill/Rad Controller
    Or
    Thunder Light - PB
  5. I checked, Shivans grey out while in Dwarf too so I did not use Shivans nor nukes on the second run.

    EDIT: 200th post!

I used a Shivan on the first one. Didn't use my nuke because of how fast Hami was defeated.

I did not use anything during the second raid because I was in Dwarf form and my temps were grayed out.

Although... Maybe Shivans were not greyed out and I did use it for the second one. I have to check how many I have left. I know for sure the Nuke was because I was asked during the raid if I had used it and I noticed I could not.
  7. There's already a second set of ATOs in the works. They were placed on beta by mistake and someone posted screenshots on another thread.

Don't know when, but they are coming.

The Summer Movie Event will also have a special Damage Attuned Set that will drop as a reward, so it's not necessarily tied to archetype.

However, I don't know if this set will be able to be catalyzed or converted.
  8. You can't convert an ATO into anything else BUT another ATO.

At least as far as I know.

large or super reds(I'm a MM, With zero attack, DO i need to get this still?)
rebirth or ageless destiny (a few people can have barrier, but those are best)(I have barrier but i could work on ageless)

Sound that i need to farm like 40 trial more or less
Those are the requirements for this specific run, so I'm gonna say that they are necessary.

    * Tier 3/4 Core Longbow or Cimeroran - Definitely. They may be the key to being able to get this badge from what I have read.

    * Ultimates are inspirations that grant a +1 level shift. They cost 2 Astrals in Ouroboros or about 25 million in the Auction House last time I checked.

    * Large/Super Reds (supers being sold for 1 Astral in Ouroboros like Ultimates) will probably be necessary even for Masterminds as I believe you can give them to your pets. I don't play MMs, so I could be wrong here.

    * If you have Barrier I would keep that. If you are going to work on something to be part of this run, I would work on the T3/4 Longbow or Cimeroran.

Of course MP has the final word. But from her post, I believe this is what she would want to be able to put up a serious attempt at getting this badge.
  10. Speaking of tactics... this may help.

    Emphasis mine.

I hope you're enjoying the Magisterium! I wanted to pop in to clarify some mechanics of the final fight:

1.) Your deaths have no effect on Tyrant at all. He has no mechanics that trigger on player death

2.) There is currently a bug where only 16 players/pets will receive the level shift from destroying Light of the Well. We’ll be fixing this in an upcoming patch as quickly as possible – I checked the fix in as soon as the issue was discovered. - Will not apply to our attempt.

3.) Tyrant does not have a self heal. He does have a self-buff power which consumes his Olympian Guards, killing them, and providing him with bonus ToHit and Smashing Damage for each guard consumed in this way. This has a visual effect which looks a bit like a heal, but is meant instead to connote “Powering up off dark energy”.

4.) There is no direct negative effect to “Being in the hospital”. I have seen several people postulate that Tyrant heals or grows in power when people are in the hospital, but the only effect hosping has on him is that you’re dead and not DPSing, and therefore his regeneration is healing him better.

I hope this information helps you, and good luck in your endeavours to bring Tyrant down!

As for the strategy, I personally liked the faster raids, but not everyone does. For those who were there... who prefers a fast raid (or 2) versus 1 traditional raid?
I prefer this way. I'm sure that we may not be able to do it this way all the time, but if they go the same way they did on Saturday, I feel it's worth the shot.

Not sure what the originally proposed strategy was, but we buffed while on the safe rock and then again after all the mitos were down the first (and only) time.

    It worked very well...

You didn't hear it from me, but someone told me that the on the second run, this Peacebringer by the name of Thunder Light taunted Hami (points to signature)

I think that if it's new sales only (no new items), then we don't get downtime.

Because it's pretty much changing the price, like they do with Freebie "Friday".

    I could be wrong though.
  14. I wouldn't be surprised if there was a small patch rolled out.

The list of known issues had a couple of things that may need immediate attention.

There's also speculation of the new SSA being released today, so it could be included in that patch (if a patch is needed to add SSAs to the live servers, I'm not sure).

It's a toggle that lasts 2 minutes and then takes 2 minutes to recharge after it's deactivated.

On top of that, there's always a minor inherent buff occurring.

The second attempt was unsuccessful as well. Not sure about damage/debuff issues, but the Olympian Guards were all over us.

    Extra Power Tray

    Agreed.

There should be a way to either customize it (only pop up when temp powers are relevant), or turn it off altogether.

If there is a recent discussion, they want you to search so that we don't have 15 new posts about Celestial Armor being removed but instead have one thread to consolidate that information in to make it easy to find.

If there is an old discussion, things may have changed so that the old post isn't relevant and people don't miss seeing the dates on posts and think that something said applies currently. The game has enough changes that what was happening then may not be how it happens now. Reasons given during the old discussions may not apply as they do now with other changes.

If there is an old discussion about something it would be appropriate to link to it so that people can see that it's something that HAS been discussed before but that there have been enough changes to make it so that all of the things stated in the previous discussions may no longer be true but still present some of the same information that would be relevant today.

    ---------------

It made sense in my head when I started typing it. I think it still makes sense.

    ---------------

And that may not be the reason at all, that's just one reason that I can see for it.

If I'm completely wrong, I'm sure someone from the OCR team or the Dev team will correct me.

EDIT: BTW Z, now I have new numbers to remember. Thanks a lot.

That makes sense. Thank you for the replies!
  19. Hey Zwill, I've been meaning to ask, and I guess there's no better thread than this one to do it.

May I ask why thread "necromancy" is discouraged?

Doesn't creating threads about the same topic make things more difficult to find when searching due to multiple threads about the same topic coming up in the results?

Heck, it's even on the guidelines just posted under section 5...

    Quote:
Cross posting - As a courtesy to others before beginning a new thread, please look to see if an active thread on that topic has already been established using the Search feature. If so, place your comments there instead. Multiple threads on the same subject clutter up the forum needlessly and many good ideas may be lost. Use the Search link to keep discussions about one topic to one thread only.
It's a little contradictory since players are being asked to search but then if the thread they happen to find is "old", it will be locked and they will have to go through the trouble of creating a brand new thread with the same information they just posted.

This is in no way a complaint or aimed at causing trouble, I am just honestly curious what the specific reason for this is. All other sites/forums I have personally been a member of discouraged creating a new thread if there was one already made about the same topic, regardless of when the last post was made.

    Thank you.

I could be wrong with this assumption... but, since temp bar is a new feature and has never been on the live servers, it would serve no purpose for them list the Kheld issue as fixed since it has never really been an issue on live due to the temp bar never been live before.

Does that make sense? I could be completely wrong, but here's hoping it's fixed and was not listed for that reason

You can still get Celestial until next Tuesday as originally said on the e-mail. Details are on the link on the first post.

And keep in mind you are gonna need Destiny and Lore need to be unlocked to run the Magisterium trial.
