The Player Event Resource Committee (PERC) is proud to present:
Victory Over Hamidon!!!

Hosted by PERC Reps: Madame Pistacio & Medieval Power







WHAT: A weekly themed Hamidon raid on the Victory Server. Each week will have a different theme.
WHO: Anyone with a level 45-50 character. A good mix of level 50s are preferred.
WHERE: The Hive (off Eden, which is off Founders Falls), we will form teams at the entrance.
WHEN: Every Saturday at 8:45pm est (We will take off for Holidays)
WHY: To kick some jello butt, get awesome rewards, and have a blast! (and of course prizes!)
Special Note: The FIRST Saturday of each month will be a Super Fast Ambush-Style Raid


Other Details
-Each week there will be a new theme for the raid announced, anyone who participates in the theme will be eligible for a random prize drawing!
-Rewards options for defeating Hamidon include: 4 shards, 1 Hamidon Enhancement, or 53 merits.
-Shards will drop from Hamidon/Mitos so having your Alpha Slot unlocked is recommended.
-Please be on time as the Hive has a capacity of 50 people.
-All raids will be Blueside in the Hive
-There is now a hospital and inspiration dealer inside the zone.

Questions are always welcome!

PLEASE NOTE: Monster Hunting starts at 8:45pm. That way the raid will (hopefully) start at 9pm.

Hmmmm, who to be? The evil butler/Tim Curry? Colonel Mustard? Professor Plum? Too bad my Isos isn't yet 50, or I'd bring him along for a Professor Plum lookalike.

I didn't have time to adjust a costume yesterday for the theme. I'll definitely try for it if you do a Tim Curry theme sometime (or are you going for the evil butler/evil character Tim Curry always seems to play?).

Theme for 2/4 is Giants versus Patriots!

And this is a SPEED Raid!

Lore pets and a (non barrier) Destiny are mandatory for VIPs (nukes and shivans are nice too!). Premium/FTP need to have nukes and shivans.

While I would really love to do this, the last few speed runs did not go very well. I'm going to stick to a regular run for this one. I need to give people more prep time for a speed run so they get nukes and all that jazz!

I think most of those would have gone okay if we did a semi-speed instead; take out the first wave of mitos like normal, and while beating on Hami, THEN unleash the hounds of war ASAP.

I semi-agree with you. We did speed raids before and they went fantastic. People however are showing up without being prepared at all, and that makes it not work. If we're going to have to kill 1 wave and set up taunt and all that, it's really not that much shorter than killing 2 or 3. But I would be willing to try this. Maybe we'll try to fight through after killing 2 waves this Saturday and see what happens

Setting up taunt really shouldn't take as long as it has been IMO. It's not like the Mitos move....

As for not being prepared, we (and by we I mean people who have the patience, time, etc to do that) need to see what an optimal number of people versus special helpers really churns out. Having a certain number of dedicated people for the prep should help; if Hamidon evolved depending on the number of people in the zone, that'd be a different story (....and I forsee that happening one day).

Anyway, tl;dr = be there

I do wish it had scaling HP like the AVs in trials do. It would make things a bit easier!

As for taunt... not the same people show up each time, so it's rough for them.
