205723: A Different DESTINY
When Soldiers of Arachnos got their names added to the Destiny List, Longbow managed to get a copy of the list and began rounding villains up. But one name on the list shocked them...

I guess this way went well? Someone mentioned there were 2 raids successful, but wasn't clear to me if both used the same strat. I assume buffing took place at start of Hami mauling and not at first Mito threshold?
If so, new standard?
I've already forgotten about most of you

It worked very well...
You didn't hear it from me, but someone told me that the on the second run, this Peacebringer by the name of Thunder Light taunted Hami (points to signature)

Thunder Light - Peacebringer * Displaced Calibre - Dual Pistols/Time Corruptor * Defendatron WS - Warshade
Madame Distress - Ill/Rad Controller * Madame Infernus - Fire/Thermal Corruptor
For the 6/9 Hami Raid there will be no theme. People do not seem to be dressing up in them anymore
As for the strategy, I personally liked the faster raids, but not everyone does. For those who were there... who prefers a fast raid (or 2) versus 1 traditional raid?

I like the faster raids (don't really care about getting the chance for a shard drop from the Mitos anymore), but, at least for this last run, several of us went out and got nukes and shivans. If you add that time to the raid time, then it's a much longer raid than the traditional one - for those that put in the extra preparation time.
However, I am wondering how necessary the nukes and shivans are. At least with shivans you get 5 at a time so they can span multiple raids, but I don't know if I want to spend 20-35 minutes in Warburg every week getting nukes.

I am pretty sure only you, Freaky, Alpha, and I had nukes. Alpha didn't use his. And Freaky and I both used ours during the 1st raid, not the second. So I don't think we actually had any nukes used on the 2nd raid. Can anyone else confirm this?

I did not use anything during the second raid because I was in Dwarf form and my temps were grayed out.
Although... Maybe Shivans were not greyed out and I did use it for the second one. I have to check how many I have left. I know for sure the Nuke was because I was asked during the raid if I had used it and I noticed I could not.

I think shivans are reasonable to get though, since it's only once every 3 weeks basically.

I checked, Shivans grey out while in Dwarf too so I did not use Shivans nor nukes on the second run.

In reality - we still get a couple "new tanks" each raid.
Either ones that have never taunted (but with hold or dmg team experience, etc)
or ones that have never done a raid at all - which we welcome.
Basic instructions are given out during the GM hunt to set the mood.
Then, so common an occurrence, there are one or two that, once on team - just stop replying to chat during setup.
Either afk ordering takeout or somesuch and after a couple attempts to get them to target a mito
- they are moved or removed. It does slow down the process.
Having the regulars is always a blessing, but I don't want to discourage the new players
from trying it, either.
So, that in a nutshell - is the holdup.
