  1. I see them almost everytime I log into Freedom Atlas Wentworths to get on my mule there.
They show up in pairs. I have an ignorespammer macro now. I used to file a petition each time, but I am over that now.

  4. For recruiting, running, learning about or teaching about speed SFs/TFs, trials etc--Good Times
You don't have to have an uber toon, be all IO'd out, or be a speed SF pro to join. [But if you happen to be a speed SF pro and have an uber toon you'll have peers.] You just have to want to run speed SFs/TFs. It really does help if your toons have some sort of stealthiness--super speed and a stealth IO will work just great almost all of the time if you want to do speed runs.

I have an old channel that used to be very busy back before Reward Merits came out. It was active back when we could create an 8 man SF, log out 7 of the toons, and then have the last toon solo the SF until the end. We used to set up a rotating set of SFs so that we could each be soloing a SF on one of our toons and have multiple other toons in SFs but logged off waiting for the soloer to reach the end mish.

There are still more than 100 members, but there's not a lot of activity at the moment.

I have made that channel public and it's open to anyone who is interested in recruiting for, running, learning about or teaching about speed SFs/TFs, trials etc.

Its' called Good Times and the current members were recruited from Freedom.

    C&P
    Code:
    /chan_join "Good Times"
    if you're interested

  6. If you try to compare times on a SF it really needs to be straight time to complete the SF because it's too easy to accidentally miss some spawns that aren't required for a mission's completion anyway. Missing a spawn or two would alter your time artificially for the better. That sort of error is not detectable from a screenshot.

For the lower level SFs, a kill all isn't as rewarding as it is for the lvl 50 SFs.
  7. I'd join if you have a channel for Freedom.

Took most of a day to do it too. I'd make the lvl.10 damage enhancements, then delete them, rinse and repeat. cost me (maybe) 1 or 2 mil inf to make those last 300+ enhancements.

I'm sure there is market manipulation going on, but i also suspect badgehunters might be doing it too.
When I decided to get my portable workbench, I ran the last 5 of some salvage prices into the millions. But I wanted it NAO!!NAO!!NAO!!

Still though, for people who could wait longer than I could, the "actual price" was still whatever that niche's flipper was paying +1.

This isn't the real world where resources are limited. The game wasn't programmed to act that way.
Depending on the item, a group could tie up a niche in the sense that they could keep you from buying the item for less than they are willing to pay for the item.

The market has spoken about the value of a percentage point of defense.

That is a very tiny return on investment relative to the other options available to Defensive Powersets.
4%-6% really is not a tiny return for investment.

  21. I think the market shows that a percent of def is worth more than a percent of Endurance Reduction, Damage Buff, Recharge Reduction, or Accuracy.

Def is one of the more worthwhile attributes point for point. Your comparison isn't very relevant.

    Brute vs Tank

It takes about 5% fury to surpass tankers' damage, iirc.
